Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Lure

Wow! We loved staying here. Such a beautiful house with great amenities! Highly recommend!

We booked our stay while having work done at our home and it ended up being the perfect retreat. We worked remotely for a few days — I used the upstairs bedroom and desk as my office while my husband worked downstairs, which worked out great. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked (pro tip: take inventory before heading to the grocery store!). The decor is beautiful and all the plants made the place so bright! Mornings on the porch with coffee and mountain views were a peaceful way to start the day. We also loved exploring the charming town of Black Mountain. We hope to have the chance to return! Luke and Olessia were awesome hosts and very responsive to our questions.

Absolutely loved the time we spent there! Although it was only two days, it was an amazing two days! We will definitely be back sooner rather than later! The home was amazing and everything was perfect!! Would highly recommend!!

This home was absolutely beautiful! From the cozy decor to the comfortable beds, clean linens/towels, and home—plus the babbling creek right outside! I could not recommend this space more. The location is great if you're looking to be out and away but within a reasonable drive into town/cities (Black Mountain is about 15-20 minutes, Asheville is about 40-45 minutes). Jason and his family were proactive in communication, extremely helpful, and left very clear instructions for their home. As a dog owner, the provided dog towels, blanket cover, and bowls were such a helpful touch that made the stay that much better. Thank you again for a wonderful stay! Major highlights: Very clean, comfortable, cozy, and peaceful.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

This was such a nice place in the mountains to go and relax and decompress. Can't recommend this place enough. The view is so beautiful, even the camera cannot capture how scenic it actually is. Another perk was that they hosts were always communicative and responded very fast!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful mountain home! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the sweetest and most charming house cat, Mr. Grey, who instantly stole our hearts. He was the perfect host—snuggly, friendly, and a comforting presence during our stay. The house itself is cozy, clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. But the true standout is the porch—an unbelievably comfortable setup with stunning panoramic views of the mountains. We spent hours out there soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, sipping coffee, and watching the clouds roll by. The surrounding property is full of life—songbirds, wildlife, and even sheep from the owners' nearby farm. It made the whole experience feel like a serene escape into nature without sacrificing comfort. One important note: the gravel road leading up to the house is quite steep and may not be suitable for low-clearance cars. We’re already dreaming about our next visit!

The place was great, even though it was a very quick stay. The mattresses were very comfortable, place was clean & inviting. My wife really admired their garden and has now decided we are adding a butterfly garden to our farmstead. We would def stay again.

We enjoyed our stay. Cindi was friendly, hospitable, and gave us great recommendations of things to do and places to eat nearby. We would stay there again.

Beautiful and peaceful place to relax and get away from everything but close to Asheville and other areas I wanted to visit. Very well put together and thought out. I enjoyed the swing on the back porch in the mornings. The spa like bathroom is also very relaxing. For this trip, I was on my own and appreciated that there was a secluded feeling but the owners were above and available if needed. Everything I needed for a peaceful get away was provided. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This was the PERFECT place for our stay in Asheville. It’s centrally located which makes it convenient to get around, but the property itself is slightly outside of the city center in a woodsy area which gives you that lovely, peaceful feeling of being in nature. The space itself was perfectly spacious for 2 people. Very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen doesn’t have a stove but with a kettle, microwave, fridge, and toaster oven you can still do some cooking if you wish. The front porch is nice for sitting in the evenings. The hosts were very kind and provided some snacks and drinks for our stay, as well as clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations. We loved staying here and if we ever find ourselves back in Asheville we would definitely stay here! Such a great value for an excellent place!

We had a wonderful stay at Gabrielle’s. She gave us many suggestions weeks before we got there and was easily accessible once we arrived. The place was very clean and had a lot of amenities. The view was amazing. It was easy to get from her place to many other local attractions that we wanted to see.

We stayed at Lynn’s place for a few days while visiting family nearby. We appreciated the clear instructions and easy check-in. The Airbnb was very clean and comfortable- we were able to find everything we needed with ease. There are a lot of thoughtful touches that make this place special (we loved the towel warmer in the bathroom). Lynn was very friendly and accommodating and provided a comfy high chair for our 10 month old baby. Thank you!

The drive was beautiful coming up to the cabin. The unique A-Shape home made it more appealing and exciting to drive up to. The home was very clean and cozy. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you needed. Cute living space and very cabin like feel. The patio and deck was very nice. Although the jacuzzi was broken, the owner tried to repair in time for my arrival. Unfortunately, it was beyond his control so he graciously offered to discount my stay without even asking. As a Director for Customer Experience in a hospital, I know firsthand how important it is to create a positive experience. We will definitely return! Wish I could post pictures and a video of this place.

This was the most amazing cabin that feels like a place that has been lived in-something I keep searching for and rarely find! Like your clean uncles cabin in the middle of nowhere. It’s hard to find, but when I do I’m so happy. Nick was very responsive and helpful-a very nice trip and a beautiful view-the view was worth the trip alone.

If I could give it 200 stars instead of five, I definitely would. It was a very nice and clean place with a spectacular view. My wife and I stayed there and loved it. The hosts are very friendly and always attentive. I will definitely return.

Magical is the word. When you pull up it appears to be just a small old cabin like the others around it, nothing special. Upon entering, it’s clear she put a lot of thought into the rustic decor, amenities and comfort. It has a clean cozy atmosphere and the couch is the most comfortable thing I’ve ever sat on. From the antique furniture, vintage bulbs and record player, it gives a real vibe. Bumper pool wasn’t our cup of tea but we loved playing cards there. Wish we could have used the record player but it only made a faint scratchy sound- appears you could use different speakers with an aux chord and there’s even a nice speaker in the next room that also has an aux port but no cable. So maybe bring your own if that interests you. The kitchen was very nice, beds decent, great pillows and a TON of blankets. But of course the backyard is the star- the sauna/tub/creek/grill/fire pit combo is a winner and a true Appalachian/ Asheville experience (I am a local). Great host. Will be back

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. The location was peaceful and private, and the views were spectacular! Seeing a mother bear with two cubs in the yard was an added bonus! Candace was responsive and her instructions and directions were very helpful. We hope to return to this amazing cabin in the Fall!

This place is perfect! It's very clean, cozy, has beautiful views, easy drive, safe area, wonderful decor, linens and a comfortable bed. The host, Jessica responded immediately if we had any questions. Oh and the hot tub was fabulous! What more could you ask for? Thank you Jessica for the gift and sharing your beautiful place with us. We loved our week away at Melissa’s cabin. The setting was peaceful and private, while allowing for easy access to downtown Brevard and Pisgah Forest. Our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out- both indoors and out. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and enjoyed most of our meals in. The cabinet full of games and coloring books was a nice addition. Melissa was communicative on the front end and available if needed during our stay.

Beautiful house with amazing view . Very peaceful place . Only 10 to Ashville downtown. I highly recommend this place .
