Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Lake Murray

Not only was this the perfect lake getaway, but the owners went above and beyond with the items that were in the home. Just to name a few, games, movies, toys for kids, blankets, beach towels, firewood, extra bath supplies, grilling and beach area and a personal boat ramp, which was our fav! If you could think about needing it, it most likely was there! The location was great and not the busy side of the lake. Home was spacious and modern! The homeowners were very welcoming and helpful! We enjoyed our time there and plan a return trip. We loved everything!

Perfect place to get away for the weekend and well worth the price!

We were travelling for a work trip and just stayed for one night. For that one night we were there it was great. No complaints here at all. Would stay here again if in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. It looked like the photos. Lori was very responsive and helpful. Prime location near shops and resturants. GORGEOUS water view. We will be back!

The house was beautiful Comfortable and clean! Location was perfect close to local Stores yes felt tucked away and peaceful! The air bnb was fully stocked w towels , linens, cleaning products and more than all the basics to cook with! Check in was super easy and the it was spacious and comfortable for the six of us! Affordable and just perfect! Highly recommend this air Bnb !

Very nice home near the end of the street on the water with dock. Backyard area was nice and relaxing after a long day of fishing. Plenty of parking for trucks with boat trailers (we had 4 trucks and trailers with enough room for at least 4 more!!). Comfortable beds, clean sheets, comfortable seating. Host is very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Dave was very personable and made our (albeit brief) stay comfortable and enjoyable! We arrived very late to the location, but lights were left on to allow for ease getting in and there was even a personal massage of welcome and congratulations, given the purpose of our stay to close on our first home the next morning! I would highly recommend this location for its proximity to downtown as well as its considerate host!

Michelle stepped up, communicated promptly and clearly when another Airbb place we had did not work out due to some maintenance issues. Great communication! This location had a separate building with space for my wife to work from home undisturbed. We were there in the off season from the lake fun, however our daughters loved the fishing rod and access to the water. It gave us a taste of the summer fun that this location definitely delivers. The view and the fire pit next to the lake was a fun treat for us all. Plenty of firewood, and a well appointed home allowed us all to settle in. Only two critical items worth mentioning are the beds frames were a bit unsupportive, and the gnats seemed to be penetrating the home as the weather warmed. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Jeff and Elizabeth are great hosts! They made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked through the door. They made fresh bread and had it waiting for us, along with an invite to a community event. Elizabeth and Jeff are lovely people and made us feel right at home. My teenage son told me to definitely book with them again next time I’m in town.

Jillian's home was amazing. I was visiting Columbia to attend a graduation. Initially, I thought the location would be too far away from downtown Columbia, but it was a straightforward drive. It wasn't a long drive at all. So many grocery stores and restaurants are within a 5-10 drive. The home was spacious enough for a quick trip and was charming. Jillian was extremely responsive to any questions or needs that we had, and that was extremely appreciated. Thanks again!

We put on a lot of miles every day taking in the area while staying at your lake home. When we returned everyday OMGosh! So relaxing and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. We will miss our 3 new buddies too. And well decorated. Perfect y'all. Jeff & Nancy

We had wonderful weekends stay at the barn apartment. Andrea and Cecilia are great and very hospitable hosts. The surrounding grounds are a lovely place to relax and forget about daily life and the on-site restaurant was an unexpected bonus. The trail riding was a great experience, and I would highly recommend.

The condo was quite impressive! Made us all feel at home. Bed extremely comfortable and everything was pristine clean! We came for the Army Graduation and this particular condo was so close to activities. Hostess was personable and quick to answer any question. Thank you Courtney!

T's place was very cozy and easy to find. She was a great host and super communicative, always looking out for me, like when a storm took out the power. She reached out, kept me updated and offered candles so I wasn't sitting in the dark.

A very clean, well designed space. Beautifully decorated inside & out. The beds were comfortable and the home had EVERYTHING you could need during your visit.

We were in Chapin visiting family (my husband, me and our adult son) so we didn't spend much time at the cabin. We did love our two mornings and evenings at the cabin. The setting is peaceful and we loved sitting on the front porch and enjoying the views. The music system was a real treat, too. We wished we'd had more time to use the kayaks but, in any case, we view these as a big plus. The cabin has great character and has been renovated beautifully. We felt very fortunate to find this special place. We were not able to meet Tom and Laura but they provided clear instructions and we had everything we needed. The place may have been a bit tight if our adult daughter had joined us but we would have found a way to make it work. Highly recommend.

The location is amazing, especially with the slight landing into the water inside of the house was nice and gave a great feel!

We had a blast swimming, fishing, and just relaxing! We caught a bunch of bass and crappies!!! It was a great way to decompress and celebrate my birthday! We definitely plan on coming back!

Absolute gem. Accommodations were even better then the photos. My kids really enjoyed the little beach area out front and the sunsets were to die for. Nice large living room and plenty of space to cook meals with everything stocked one might need. Would love to stay again next time I am in town!

We had a terrific time at the cottage on Lake Murray! The house was exactly as expected—clean, cozy, and perfect for our family of five. While the kitchen is small, it has everything you need to cook meals at home. The dock was a highlight—we caught fish every evening with bait from the nearby gas station. The location is ideal. I took long walks through the state park and always felt safe, even without much of a shoulder on the road. The kayaks and paddleboards were the stars of the week—my kids and I had a blast on the water every day. This was our second time renting from Theresa, and once again, she proved to be a wonderful host—responsive, helpful, and full of great suggestions. The week was restorative, relaxing, and well worth the stay. Looking forward to coming back again!

A Cozy Forest Retreat During Our Big Life Move! We stayed at Alvin’s place while doing our walk-through and closing on our new home nearby, and it turned out to be the perfect hideaway during a very busy time. The location couldn’t have been more convenient — just minutes from our new house — but what really made it special was how peaceful and tucked away it felt, nestled in the woods. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful touches. We especially appreciated the variety in coffee selections each morning (who knew caffeine and real estate were such a good pair?) and the snack basket that became our evening reward after long, hectic days. Alvin was a fantastic host — responsive, helpful, and kind. This place was more than just a stopover; it was a calm, quiet escape that made our transition smoother and more comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone needing a peaceful place to recharge — whether you're buying a house or just need a break from one

Cristina’s place was perfect for our stay. We were here for a softball tournament. The unit was very close to the fields. The unit was IMPECCABLY CLEAN!!! Beds/linens were very comfortable. Had everything we needed. We’d definitely book Cristina’s place should our travels bring us back to the area! We highly recommend her to future guests.
