Welcome to our private oasis nestled within the city limits! This 4400 sqft home, 10-acre estate sleeps 10 and features a gourmet kitchen, pickleball, private 2-acre pond w/ covered dock, swimming pool, spa and fire pit. Relax in the screened patio, 2 family rooms, and a master bedroom fit for royalty. With an office and laundry, this retreat offers both luxury and convenience. The backyard is canopied under huge oak trees, resembling a beautiful park. Only 1-mile from shopping and restaurants.

Large RV in the country

We have a wonderful 5th wheel to stay in during your visit to the area. We are located between Canton TX (for 1st Monday) and Athens TX(Texas Freshwater Fishery, etc.) The Oak Castle Winery is only a few miles away. The 5th wheel is close to us in a quiet neighborhood. It has great air-conditioning, heat, is clean and can sleep up to 6 people. We provide clean sheets, towels, a coffee maker, coffee and fresh eggs. Anything else you need is only a knock on the door away. Please Come see us.

There will be a large gate at the entry that says SHIRE COTTAGE. Both the gate code & cottage door code are 1101. There is a remote gate opener in the blue mailbox at the exit gate. When you depart from your stay, drop the remote in the mailbox attached to the access gate. We have four friendly dogs. We want to make sure you can give a 5 star rating so call if you need anything.
