Holiday rentals with a patio in Lavizzara

INCREDIBLE!! The photos don’t do justice to just how truly incredible this place is. I would recommend 10/10 times and would come back in a second. Marlise, her husband Chrigel and son Mike were all incredibly kind and welcoming, helping us get a more local experience. The apartment itself has everything you need, and is located just a 10-15 minute walk from the train/boat station, restaurants and grocery stores. The hot tub/ sauna and outdoor shower, mixed with the view make this place a relaxing paradise.

We enjoyed staying at the apartment. It is tastefully and functionally furnished. The view of Lake Maggiore, the valleys & mountains is spectacular.

Truly spectacular - one of the best views I've enjoyed from any accommodation ever. The home inside was also perfect for a short term stay for two people - super cozy and very clean. Communications from the hosts before and during our stay were great. The home is a little bit further outside of the city then we realized when looking at the map (~15 minute drive up the hill) so take advantage of the restaurant recommendations nearby! Agriturismo Zertin was fantastic

This place is amazing! Super tranquil, excellent view, location is superb. Birgitt and her co host are very kind and easy to communicate with. The house is stunning and has so much character and charm. I’d come back anytime.

It was a great choice to stay - not only Alessia is a great host - but also the place is perfect if you want to enjoy peaceful time and have walkable access to the centre. Please feels like home due to carefully selected amenities and materials used. Alessia is going an extra mile in being a host - she helps with arrival and departure, gives local tips that one would not know otherwise! Beautiful view on Pescallo bay, delicious fruits just next door! This was a perfect weekend gateway - thank you Alessia!

We felt very comfortable in the small, well-appointed apartment. Especially the balcony with the magnificent view, the cozy furniture and the existing privacy was our highlight. Thanks again to Bettina for her help in planning our excursions. We had a nice time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

We felt very comfortable in this vacation home. It is really thought of everything and very comfortable. Space in the sleeping area is limited. However, this did not bother us in the five days, despite the bad weather. We were very happy to stay on the upper floor in the living area. Very nice village. From there you can get everywhere by public transport.

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

Sandra is a very friendly and helpful landlady. The apartment is decorated with a lot of love and my husband, I and our dog felt completely comfortable. The view from the terrace and sofa is unique and the kitchen has everything you could want. A dream apartment. Another plus is that the restaurants, villages and Locarno are also within walking distance. Thank you Sandra, to another time

Catherine's house is very cozy and particularly furnished. It's full of personal stuff and history. You're looking out your eyes. The living room door painted by her mother, her uncle's paintings are magnificent. You feel that you can be part of the history of the family that has used this cottage as a vacation home for generations. The kitchen is a bit messy, but there are so many nice details to discover! The beds are very comfortable and the plumbing is clean and neatly in order. The most beautiful thing is of course the location and the beautiful view! A beautiful marked hiking trail runs behind the house.

Our stay here in Maggia wonderful! Everything you need is close to the house, (even a short hike to a gorgeous waterfall!) The house was really comfortable and easy to access. We recommend it and look forward to visiting again!

The accommodation was really beautiful and partly really cutely furnished. Communication with the host worked out great. However, you should be aware that the path to the accommodation deviates greatly from a normal road. You drive about 20 minutes on very challenging roads. Those who love nature will be rewarded with absolute peace and a dreamlike environment.

This was a lovely holiday here and Adriana was friendly and helpful even though English was not one of her languages. Clean and very comfortable accommodation- upstairs and down. Not a lot of room in main bedroom. Great bathroom and very easy to use kitchen . Coffee, jam, milk and crackers all provided . As we came from Australia ( most guests were from switzerland) we were unaware of local restaurants recommended and where to get groceries locally; so perhaps written instructions could be done for future guests. There is a little lack of privacy near the bathroom to the bedroom and perhaps lack of privacy near the door and in the lounge room. Great stay for seven days and highly recommended.

The house was absolutely stunning, even better than the pictures!! The view is breathtaking and we couldn’t get enough. Maria and her husband are extremely welcoming and very communicative, the perfect hosts!! We felt right at home and didn’t want to leave. The house comes with all amenities and a huge beautiful garden. We will definitely be back! :)

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was within easy walking distance of the train and ferry stations and the old town center. The view from the patio and living room was lovely. One day was rainy, but the covered parts of the patio and open doors from the living room made for relaxing lake and mountain views, even in the rain. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was handy for cooking a couple dinners, and the washing machine was small but convenient for a couple quick loads. Communication and check-in went smoothly. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful property. The accommodations are stunning and very well done. Kitchen is equipped well for light meals to enjoy in the fabulous garden terrace with the most amazing views of the lake. We truly enjoyed the space and the terrace. The renovation to this property was done with care and attention to detail, with contemporary and clean Italian design. Functional and beautiful. Nicholas was an amazing host. He helped us with food recommendations, reservations, beach clubs or any information or help we needed. Couldn’t recommend this property more. Will definitely be booking again on our next trip to lake Como!

Beautiful Apartment - Beautiful Views - Beautiful Town 10/10 We had a great stay at Annamarie's beautiful apartment - the location and views from the balcony are superb and like all the other reviews here, were simply stunning which makes this home such a stand out. Contact with Annamarie was excellent and she was always very responsive to any communication. The apartment was extremely clean & well presented and had everything you could possibly need for pleasant stay - we particularly appreciated the air conditioning. The location within easy walking distance of the train station was a big PLUS point for us as we arrived from US via plane & multiple trains - note to future foreign guests arriving at the weekend - get your grocery provisions ahead of time as shops & supermarkets are closed all day on Sundays.

It was close to the station, so it was good for getting around. I went earlier than the check-in time, but I was able to rest because you kindly guided me. They also paid attention to the washing machine mistakes I made, and even took pictures and explained them in an easy-to-understand way. I had a good rest with my mom in a good location. Beautiful home, very easy steps to get into the property. Quick responses, helpful owners who are very accommodating. Amazing location int he heart of Como. Not far from the train station. The cleaner is also very lovely and was so kind to our dog, she couldn’t whip out the bed and water soon enough. Would definitely return and 100% recommend 10/10 ♥️

I really enjoyed this place.

We were there for a family wedding which was nearby so was the perfect location. The building had been an old monastery which has been sympathetically and very tastefully renovated it was fantastic we had our own courtyard with loungers table and chairs, beautiful touches throughout can’t rate our stay highly enough 100%. What stood out was Luca himself he helped us enormously. We had a family dinner planned in the neighbouring town but found it impossible to get a taxi bearing in mind it was a Sunday and maybe not as many available even Luca tried but no luck so he took us in his car to the venue which I thought was amazing khe also helped to carry our luggage when we arrived and when we left very very helpful.5stars for the house and 6stars for the host.
