Excellent stay! Perfect stay while in Morganton. Apartment was very clean, comfortable, communication was seamless, and the location cannot be beat. Looking forward to staying at Michael's place again as soon as the opportunity presents!

Rick and Judy's place is an amazing find! They thought of everything you might need and is such a great location. They are very friendly and all the lake amenities are top notch! We plan to stay here again next year!

Beautiful and peaceful place to relax and get away from everything but close to Asheville and other areas I wanted to visit. Very well put together and thought out. I enjoyed the swing on the back porch in the mornings. The spa like bathroom is also very relaxing. For this trip, I was on my own and appreciated that there was a secluded feeling but the owners were above and available if needed. Everything I needed for a peaceful get away was provided. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Enthusiastically recommended! A lot of intelligent thought and good taste went into furnishing and arranging the space: it had everything I needed--down to an easy-to-find flashlight when a passing storm knocked out the power--but no clutter. It is in a quiet neighborhood a stone's throw from Blue Ridge Parkway land, so there was good hiking. The studio is attached to the main house, but there is a private entrance and no noise comes through the walls. Muffi was quick to respond to questions. It is not a large space, not luxurious but clean, attractive, and comfortable, the most restful and enjoyable stay I have had during two years of steady traveling for work.

We had a great stay at Penthouse A! It is literally right in the middle of downtown Blowing Rock yet we had peaceful sleep each night. We easily walked everywhere including dinner each night. As advertised the stairs up to the place are worth noting if any mobility issues but that was well disclosed and no problem for us! We’d definitely stay again if we wanted an in town stay!

We had a beautiful stay at the BEE-N-BEE! The home was spotless and nestled in a peaceful, mountain setting with tall trees and fresh, clean air. We loved walking across the street to the honey store — our daughter enjoyed the animals and playground, and the honey was delicious. The owners were incredibly kind and hospitable, and there’s a meaningful mission behind the property that made our stay even more special. It’s close to Boone and Valle Crucis but still felt like a quiet escape. We expected road noise but hardly heard a thing. Sunrise and sunset over the ridges were stunning. The porch was a favorite — mosquito-free with rocking chairs and soft lights that made it feel magical. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was amazing knowing honey is processed right behind the home. We’d absolutely stay again — 5 stars all around!

Fantastic, beautiful home in a lovely neighborhood just minutes from downtown. This is one of the nicest BNBs I have ever stayed at. You will not be disappointed.

CUTE!! And Serene! To be almost 100 yrs old the home is in fantastic shape. furniture was comfy. House was clean & as described. The area is beautiful & we loved the view, the sound of the stream talking to our neighbors in the morning...the herd of cows on the neighboring farm. And half way to West Jefferson & Boone.Definitely someplace we will consider again!

Host were very responsive, helpful, and friendly. The place was perfect, clean and very accommodating. They give you everything you need for a successful stay! I would definitely recommend this site if you're looking for a place to stay in the area.

This is the ONLY location I’ll book when visiting Lenoir. I’m a native, and unfortunately family is far and few in between, but this location is wonderful to be able to stay and support when I’m home for a weekend, or when I just want to swing by. The hospitality was phenomenal and I can’t wait to book again in the future. God Bless!

The house was adorable and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. The wildlife in the backyard made it feel like a little urban fairytale. The house was set up very accommodating with some extra amenities that went above and beyond what was required. It was definitely one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve had so far.

If you think to yourself I wonder if this air bnb has xyz it does. The host is very proactive in having anything you might need at your fingertips. The kitchen is very well stocked any quality items. You might ask yourself - will I be able to hear cars in the road? And to be honest we hardly even noticed them. Having noise machines in each room was also a nice touch. We loved that it was close to Tweetsie and Blowing Rock. If you have kids you gotta check out the memorial park in downtown Blowing Rock. Our kids played there almost everyday after dinner.

We had a fantastic stay at this sweet home—it was peaceful, comfortable, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed. As a family traveling with our 9-month-old, we were especially grateful for how baby-friendly the space was. Whether by design or happy accident, the setup worked great for our little one, and the high chair provided was a huge plus. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, and the house itself was clean, inviting, and thoughtfully prepared. It truly felt like a home away from home. When our plans changed unexpectedly, the host was flexible and accommodating, allowing us a slightly later check-out for a small fee. That kind of responsiveness made the experience even better. We would absolutely stay here again—especially for another family trip!

Simon and Julia are super helpful and kind. The place was just as expected, kitchen was fully equipped, everything was clean - and beautiful views. You can hear the neighbors pretty clear upstairs - but you can’t do much about that - plus it was disclosed in the listing. So overall I give 5 stars to Julia and Simon because THEY were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - super responsive, I will definitely be returning ❤️ p.s. my bro forgot his wallet in the bnb after we checked out and there was absolutely no issue going back to find it - they are a delightful couple.

Absolutely beautiful location! I’ve been wanting to check out the Art of Living retreat center and staying here was a perfect way to explore without having to attend a retreat. It’s just a short walk from the cafeteria, and there’s lots of drop in activities on the campus. It was stunning and perfect for a recharge!

Fantastic view of Grandfather Mountain! Wonderful balcony to relax and enjoy after morning hike or enjoy breakfast before heading out. Place was clean with everything we could ask for. Washer and dryer stocked with detergent, TV conveniently had prime and few other streaming services and a comfortable couch. Bathroom had hot water and good water pressure. AC available and strong fans for summer heat As others noted, the stairs to the apt and to the loft are not for those uncomfortable with ladders. Drive up is winding but well paved. Walkway to the apt is gravely and easier to navigate with a backpack than a roller bag. The bed in the loft is a futon with a memory foam pad. Comfortable enough, but may not be enough support for some with back problems. But great space and location. We had a wonderful stay and wish we could’ve stayed longer. John was a fantastic host and very helpful with information and responsive!

I really enjoyed my stay. The view of Grandfather Mountain was beautiful and peaceful. The thoughtful decor of the condo felt welcoming and modern. The location is great as a base for hiking and outdoor activities in the surrounding area. Downtown Boone is about 15-20 minutes away, which has cute stores and some good restaurants. I liked Kimberly and Lauren’s food recommendations of The Cardinal and Lost Province.

This place is in a beautiful area. It's private and quiet surrounded by nature's wonder. Every morning I woke up to a beautiful sunrise on the balcony with my coffee listening to the birds sing. I slept on the sofa bed facing the balcony and it was comfortable. My kids enjoyed the bed in the bedroom. We made breakfast and dinner and enjoyed how comfortable and cozy the ambiance felt in this condo. I took morning walks nearby. Otter falls is nearby and you can hear the creek from the balcony. The condo was very clean and had the basic necessities for our weekend stay. Definitely coming back again.

Fabby’s place was perfect for a mountain weekend getaway! The Airbnb was extremely clean and matched the photos exactly. We brought our dog along and it was a great setup for having a pet. Fabby was so responsive and always answered our questions quickly!
