We had a very relaxing 4-day vacation in Cloud 7 - and it was everything we hoped for. Perfect accommodation, welcoming hosts and a quiet and peaceful environment. 5 well-deserved stars for Daniel and Martin!

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

Thank you for having us in your beautiful home. It's very comfortable, decorate with love and a lot of taste. All are very clean, and there's everything we needed for our week-long stay with a small family . Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. It's beautiful little sheep, they love it. We are walking in the village and in the forest around, very easy. At night we saw little deer 🥰 on the road. Thanks Eva and Yves

Claudia's house is a gem - a mix of style icons, museum and antique shop. Those who are prone to too many impressions per square meter will not feel comfortable. Everyone else will be very excited. Big pluses: the well-equipped kitchen, the sociable guest and pub room as well as the garden with diverse barbecue facilities - and if necessary - an outdoor kitchen. We felt very comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay with Markus. The cottage is new, modern and really exceptionally clean and well maintained. The check in was super easy thanks to the lockbox. The kitchen is well equipped, there was even a small welcome gift – a nice gesture! The surroundings are quiet and very beautiful, ideal for walks and for switching off. We fully recommend the place. Thank you for the two great nights!

Modern, lovingly furnished and equipped with the most important thing you could ever need. The mountain suite was clean and well maintained. The quiet location and proximity to beautiful hiking trails with stunning views through forests and meadows were a welcome addition to the stay. Relaxed time spent over the Easter days.

We had an amazing time in Freiburg! Michael and his family were fantastic hosts. His lovely wife showed us around her garden. We walked around the historic old town, went to the market, ran beside the stream. The apartment is up many stairs in the attic but such amazing views! Especially the roof top terrace!

Very nice apartment with many possibilities to sit outside in the garden and by the pond. Also a great opportunity to grill on the open fire, especially nice for the summer months. The hosts were very friendly and always approachable, everything very straightforward. Also perfectly equipped for traveling with a dog. Very quiet apartment, from there directly many beautiful hiking trails, also with refreshment stops, within walking distance. And you can also get to Unterkirnach very quickly, with a beautiful old town center and places to walk, including by the lake. Full recommendation for a wonderful Black Forest holiday with pure nature.

We (mother, adult daughter and dog) had a very nice week in the apartment. Practically divided with everything you need, so that we could also prepare hot food. Bernau is beautifully located in the middle of the southern Black Forest and is a small, still quite original village. No large hotel buildings, but bakers with cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy, a tourist office and a small shop. We didn't hear anything from the street in front of the house, because the apartment is at the back, with a beautiful view from the balcony into the Bernauer Hochtal. We would definitely want to stay here again if we go to the Black Forest again.

Our year 2025 could not have started better. Thanks for that 🙏 We were greeted personally by Milla & Grace, and we immediately felt welcome thanks to the brief introduction from the two. For us, it was the perfect place to relax, the incredibly beautiful panoramic windows invite you to do yoga or linger. Two other pluses were the sauna and the great free-standing bathtub. We will be happy to come back and can recommend the spacious apartment to anyone looking for something special.

We can highly recommend this accommodation; we especially enjoyed the quiet location and the nature. The apartment is very spacious and lovingly furnished. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and from the balcony, where we ate every day, you have a great view.

Highly recommended! We stayed to go to Europa Park and we were very satisfied. Everything is very clean and the kitchen is complete, even with a scale. They also have a pool and sauna, but we didn't try them. Would stay here again

Idyllic annexe to a beautiful home where the hosts reside. We went for a short stay with our two young daughters who loved the ample, mature garden with swings and slide, backing onto the forest. Plenty to do in Freiburg of course, besides Schawzwald, peacefully located just outside to enable a stroll or bike ride in if desired. Tastefully decorated with stunning views, Andreas and Catja were responsive, flexible and friendly as were all family members! Would recommend for a short stay. Thank you both!

Very spacious, clean and functional apartment. Christine is an excellent host. The views of the mountains around the apartment are breathtaking. I know Germany quite well, and this is probably the most scenic part of the country I've been to. Would like to come again!

The cozy log cabin with garden is located in a quiet, green environment. It is very clean, well equipped and pleasantly bright thanks to the large skylight. Wolfgang is a friendly and attentive host who proactively informs and responds very quickly. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Just the thing if you are looking for peace and relaxation. Beautiful view of Winterthur, great cottage, great and clean pool with perfect temperature :-). Everything you need is available, more than usual in Airbnb's, even a mosquito plug was there :-). Beautiful walking paths in the forest directly above the accommodation. Easy self check-in. We spent 3 wonderful days and felt completely comfortable.

The accommodation is in the garden of the host family. The garden is so beautifully arranged. The cottage is so cute and so cozy. We thank Elias and his whole family for the nice reception.

Super nice reception by the hostess who happened to be there. The accommodation has retained the charm of the old train station Poststelle. Everything you need is there. The small garden is bordered by which is great with a dog. Despite the train station, it is very quiet, you can hardly hear the few trains. The stairs up are really steep, but easily doable due to the railing/light. Restaurants, bakery and shopping within walking distance. You can start hiking directly from the accommodation. The bus and train are right around the corner, so you are everywhere very quickly. We were very pleased :)

even more beautiful than in the photos, you have the feeling of sitting in the forest, very quiet, perfect if you need a break in nature, and yet shops are within 10 minutes by car. The accommodation was very clean and cozy, you had everything you need. We will definitely come back! Marion always responded directly and in a friendly manner.

Beautiful surroundings, pure nature, quiet, ideal for reconnecting with nature. We have a dog that experiences a lot of stress when traveling. This time it was not the case, our dog immediately felt at ease, enjoyed and felt at home. Anja's tips for restaurants and bakery were great. Triberg and Schöwald are close by. Small tip for Anja, a converse can opener and a tray would have been useful. We enjoyed.
