Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lexington

this home was an ideal location for our family of three adults and a toddler. Amenities were very good. The only downfall was the back yard backed up to a main travel road, Man O War Blvd , making it noisy with nightly truck travel.

Susanna was a great host and we loved the property. Super cute clean and restful. We had a small issue checking in when our coat had expired and she was very responsive and helped us very quickly and we appreciated it so much! Would stay again!

Wonderful house with lots of charm and modern additions. Beautifully designed and decorated. Great place to gather for girls trip. Clean, comfortable and inviting. Beds are super comfortable. Hosts are very responsive and accommodating. Very impressed with everything.

It was a very nice place! The host was very nice and we enjoyed the wine and coffee place that was within walking distance. Fun historical places to see that are very close and a good base if you’re going to the Ark Encounter and doing some hiking.

We needed a place to stay with two teenagers and El Retro was perfect. Three bedrooms gave everyone the space they needed. Cute house, nicely decorated with a great back yard. We had fun with the record player. The sound machines in the bedrooms were a great touch that ensured everyone slept well. The location was perfect for our visit, a quick, scenic drive away from the Kentucky Horse Park. We would certainly stay again when we come to Lexington.

We had a great 5-night stay at Donna's. The house was comfortable, immaculately clean, very nicely furnished (with of course, a racehorse theme) and very convenient. A Trader Joe's and a Maple Street Biscuit outlet are within an easy walk, and all Lexington's attractions are a short drive away. An outstanding place!

I would love to stay here every single time I visit Lexington. The bed was amazingly comfortable! The apartment was designed so cute from the detail of art work, to pottery in the kitchen, to plants scattered about the entire space. Just lovely. The host was very responsive with everything. This is a lovely place to stay in a very peaceful and charming neighborhood! This was my second time staying here, and I’m sure it won’t be the last. It was clean, had everything I needed, and Susan was very kind and responsive. Definitely worth a stay!

This was our second stay here and we came back for a reason. This place is amazing and so cool. It's also extremely comfortable with all the amenities and features you need while staying away from home. The neighborhood is trendy and borders Transylvania University, just blocks from downtown. It's a perfect location for events at Rupp. Highly recommend and planning to have a third stay here.

One of the nicest Air bnbs I’ve ever stayed in! The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated—every detail felt thoughtfully curated. I really appreciated the extra blankets, pillows, and towels provided, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect for anyone exploring the Bourbon Trail—just a short drive to Wild Turkey, Four Roses, and Buffalo Trace. Plus, there’s a charming coffee shop, a fun bourbon bar, and a pool hall with surprisingly great food all within walking distance. Truly a gem of a place—I’ll definitely be back.

Midway is so charming and my husband and I felt so lucky to be able to find Joes place for our weekend visit- it’s right in the middle of all of the cute shops, and great restaurants and bars. We were in town for a friend’s wedding but happened to arrive during the bourbon festival. It was fun to be right in the mix of the festival, and it was still quiet and peaceful at night. The place has everything we needed, comfy bed, open design, stocked kitchen, beautiful natural light, we loved the layout and just the whole feel of the place. Our host was super responsive. A/c was awesome…This place was perfect and we can’t wait to come back and stay when we visit our friends!

This stay was excellent for us to reach everything we wanted to do in Downtown Lexington. The apartment was very clean and cozy, and was perfect for us during our stay. Instructions were very clear for finding the property, checking in, and checking out.

Ellie’s place is extremely clean and comfortable, and the location is excellent! Beautiful neighborhood to walk around, lots of local shops and restaurants a couple of blocks away.

The place was very clean, tidy, and we'll stocked. Within walking distance to the capital and a few restaurants. A very short drive to more restaurants and stores. Amelia was thoughtful, responsive, and proactive without being overbearing at all. I recommend her place for sure.

we loved our stay at the paradise inn! we will absolutely be back to Paris, KY. Ajs paradise Cafe right below is was such a nice treat and delicious food! Lee was by far the best, would recommend this stay to everyone.

Nice clean modern place in a great location. Great base for exploring Lexington with covered parking where you can leave your car as it is in such a walkable neighborhood. Close to Rupp Arena as well as the Distillery District, this beautiful modern building is great to come home to.

Perfect place for us. Comfortable. centralized location while still being set back from the main road.

Needed a place that was accessible for my 86 year old mother that uses a walker. Rooms not cluttered with furniture and doors were wide enough that she could get through without any issues. Loved that there was a walk-in shower for her and parking was right outside the door which was great. Kroger was really close by which helped a lot because we cooked every meal and it was easy to go back if we forgot something. It was very quiet and peaceful and a few nights I sat out on the balcony and watched the fireflies (something I miss since we don't have fireflies in Texas). Will definitely stay here again!
