3 rue de la poste, Vignevielle is our holiday home in France. It is a beautiful old building that we have made into a small, simple home for the holidays. The village itself is quite remote, being 30 minutes by car from the nearest grocery shops. Our guests enjoy the tranquility of village life and the beautiful scenery. Cottage nestled in green and unspoiled nature, in the heart of an 85-hectare natural park and at the gates of the Montagne Noire. The cottage has stunning views of the Pyrenees mountain range as well as Carcassonne and its Citadel. A large shaded stone terrace will allow you to enjoy this exceptional setting throughout your stay. From the site, several hiking trails are immediately accessible. Lac des Montagnes is less than a 15-minute drive away.

Gite 10km from Carcassonne in the Montagne Noire

The gite adjoins our house and is situated in a green setting at the foot of the Montagne Noire, just outside a pretty Cathar village. In addition to a large landscaped garden, there is a secure parking space. This 35m2 gîte comprises a lounge, kitchen, shower room and bedroom. The flat has its own entrance leading onto a covered terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue. The gîte stays cool in summer thanks to the vegetation.

Gîte among the vineyards

This recently renovated house is set in the middle of a 70-hectare organic wine-growing estate, in the Cathar region and close to Carcasonne. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards and forests, ideal for walks, with views of the Pyrenees. This house is next to the Belgian owners' central farm, but is entirely private. During your stay, you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the winery.

La Gargouille des Corbières A wine tank you can live in

The gargoyle is an unusual gîte, renovated in an old small wine cellar in the middle of the Corbières at the end of an old village of 30 inhabitants; surrounded by nature on 5000 m² of south-facing land overlooking the scrubland where many hiking trails start. The building consists of an old wine cellar and an old sheepfold inhabited by the owners. Both parties are completely independent.
