Gorgeous view of grandfather mountain! The space was cute and tidy and the backyard space was by far the highlight! Loved the fire pit area and the lounge chairs where you could just lay under trees and watch the mountain. The bathroom was small for 2 people and the shower grout looked a little dirty. Other than that the stay was great and the location is awesome! We loved mountain dog coffee which is only ~5 minutes away!

Everything we wanted. If all you want to hear and see is nature then this is the place. Amazing property with beautiful views.

If I was someone on the fence about staying here, I would absolutely stay here! It was beautiful, very clean, well taken care of and very relaxing! It was the best way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and we will certainly be back! The price was very reasonable for 2 nights in a beautiful relaxing cabin too! We were able to bring our puppy which made it even better! Firefly cabin is a must stay!

My family enjoyed the cabin very much! They said the view was beautiful, and they loved sitting on the porch. Heather was very responsive and kind.

My wife and I, along with our daughter, her husband, and their 3 young boys had a very enjoyable stay. The children particularly liked the game barn. We all enjoyed the cool mountain air and the peaceful vibes while sitting on the outside swing along with making s'mores over the fire pit, and enjoying a relaxing soak in the hot tub. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck is amazing. Driving up to and down from the house was a bit challenging, with very steep climbs and hairpin switchback turns, but the view from the house at the top was well worth the drive. All things considered, we all had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend staying here

This place is perfect! It's very clean, cozy, has beautiful views, easy drive, safe area, wonderful decor, linens and a comfortable bed. The host, Jessica responded immediately if we had any questions. Oh and the hot tub was fabulous! What more could you ask for? Thank you Jessica for the gift and sharing your beautiful place with us. Beautiful property, easy access and walkable trails. House is immaculate- beds and bedding make for a restful rest. Several running streams - outside deck overlooks a babbling brook. This my 3rd visit - love this Cabin.

We loved our stay at this peaceful, rustic cabin! It was exactly as described—cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing. The host was responsive and thoughtful, checking in after a storm and helping quickly with a keypad issue. Cooking breakfast in the cast-iron skillet was a highlight. We'd definitely stay again!

It was raining lightly when we arrived, we had no idea Hurricane Helene was also coming to the mountains. We lost power the second day and water, Kenny and heather came to check on us and brought us a propane stove to cook on and boil water. This community has been hit hard by the storm, but it was incredible to see how quickly people came together to help each other. Kenny knew someone who had satellite internet and solar power, and they were happy to let people use it to get messages out. Another person had a satellite phone and offered to send messages for people. There is a local monastery, and the monks worked hard to clear the roads of mud and debris. When this area recovers, you must show them some love and support. The property is beautiful and the area is worth a trip. Please pray for them.

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin in the woods. Very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed after a long day at our workshop. Will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful cabin, with a huge tub that was so relaxing to soak in. Beautiful view, loved the porch off the loft bedroom and the wrap around porch with the grill and laundry room! The only disappointing thing was we never seen any llamas, alpacas, or anything of the sort. The property made up for that, tho.

We have two special needs handicapped boys and we wanted to take them someplace extra special for Christmas this year. We’ve never really been anywhere besides visiting family, so we were a bit anxious about going to a cabin in the mountains. But the cabin was exactly as described and Julie assured me that it didn’t snow and ice over until January mostly. So we braved the trip and absolutely loved it. I can’t describe how cozy and special it was to be able to have our boys with us all in one cozy cabin so high up where the boys could enjoy the scenery. Wonderful lovely cabin and friendly host…thank you for answering all my questions about the accessibility! We will definitely return in the future!

This house is a perfect getaway for vacation. Everything was in excellent condition and the decoration in the house was beautiful. Pearl (the cute) was a key edition to the house as she always greeted us every morning and everytime we came back from trails. Speaking of which Arland was super helpful as he helped us start our fire and gave us multiple trail recomendations. Overall an Amazing cabin!

This was an incredibly peaceful long weekend getaway in the mountains. This is the kind of place where we hope to come back to some day. Whether you're sitting in the living room, on a kitchen stool, or anywhere on the deck, this place is an escape into the NC mountain ranges. Lizzie is a great host, and we had zero issues from beginning to end. It is evident that a great deal of thought was put into even the smallest touch of things here. We def hope to visit again some day!

Jaclyn’s place was gorgeous. It was exactly as described—spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The view is spectacular. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need. The cozy living area made it feel like a home away from home. The host was very communicative and gracious. I would highly recommend the wonderful home.

we fell in love with James's place, it was easy check in, easy check out, very clean, just as described, the surroundings were very magical like a storybook fairytale, we walked to Tom's Creeks Falls a few times it was so beautiful there, Great Weekend!

This place is so lovely. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. The location is perfect for Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and even Boone. The view was gorgeous! I'd love to come back in Autumn to see the changing leaves. Sarah was an excellent host; very responsive when we had trouble with the door code. You can tell this place is well loved and very clean! The bed was sooo comfy. Not often do you see a king bed in Airbnbs, so that was a huge plus for me. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful getaway that feels like home! We'll definitely be back some day.

This place is incredible! It is a beautiful, thoughtful, and cozy home. I can’t say enough about how peaceful this place is for also being so close to in town amenities and hiking trails. All the host instructions were clear, every time I had a question I would read the guide first and my question was answered. We definitely plan on staying on our next WNC visit!

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed our stay! We made many meals and the kitchen had everything we needed. We went hiking locally and loved all the scenery in the area. We went to black mountain and found nice restaurants and many cool shops! The house was so peaceful and we could just hang out at the cabin the whole week. We definitely would come back in a heartbeat!
