Cottage holiday rentals in Liverpool

Me and my partner stayed here over the New Year period and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Gavin and Nicky’s property. The amenities such as the hot tub, kitchen, bathroom etc was absolutely perfect and exactly as described on the listing. They even went out of their way to leave us some small bottles of Prosecco and celebratory items which we thought was a wonderful thought from them. We would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend Beeches Bach enough to potential future guests.

Lovely cottage and surrounding canals/area. Our family had a great time celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. Amy was a fantastic host, accommodating special requests for bday decor and cake. Prior to our stay gave us recommendations of places to take our children and local trains etc. Then during our stay answered my questions very quickly. The cottage itself is beautiful, lovely decor, cosy and has a relaxing feel to it. On arrival we had a welcome basket with little treats and all the little extras like toiletries, washing up tabs etc were available. The hot tub was great, we used it three times during our stay! Our kids were able to play in the large garden and there were lots of games/toys at the cottage to keep them busy. Overall - we couldn’t recommend Top Locks cottage more! We had the best time staying here and would love to come and stay again.

Me and my partner really enjoyed this stay. It was a last minute booking for ourselves and Richard and Ceri were extremely attentive with their responses before and during our stay. The home itself was beautiful and was situated on a little farm. It was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Not to mention the hot tub behind the house which Richard and Ceri ensured was always at use for us! It was our first time visiting Ruthin and we enjoyed every moment. We would definitely recommend this stay to family friends or anyone wanting a relaxing couple of nights away.

Sam was an excellent host. The property was just what I had imagined, very clean and tidy. set in a quiet peaceful location but not to far out from shops/pubs etc. would 100% revisit if I was up that way again.

My partner and I had the best couple of nights away at Ash Bank. Great location, with only a short and cheap uber ride into the centre. The house was perfect, interior was incredible and Vanessa provided all the added extra touches to make it so homey. The hot tub in the garden is bonus too! Vanessa is a PERFECT host, fantastic communication and super thoughtful leaving a card and bottles for our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back to stay and making it a regular thing!

This was a beautiful cottage to spend time in and explore the surrounding area. Pubs are plentiful in the nearby villages. A variety of walks both near and further afield. After a day out we were happy to return to our cottage. Thank you Paul and Deborah for being such great hosts.

Me and my family had such a special few days in this beautiful Air Bnb. The house was spotless, so beautifully decorated and furnished and the outdoor area was really amazing in the day aswell as star gazing at night! Kate was a really friendly and proactive host sending local recommendations before we arrived and checking that everything was okay on check in. We will definitely look to stay again when visiting family!

Three nights in what felt like a home, away from home. This idyllic cottage is on the edge of Chester, close enough to be nearby everything but far enough that you're not in the hustle and bustle. The cottage is exactly as described, has everything (and more) than you can ever need, is clean, tidy and has very comfy beds. The hosts were warm and welcoming, left great instructions to aid our finding the property and were contactable and responsive if needed. We would absolutely return.

We had a lovely stay at this quirky and unique Airbnb in Wales. The decor was full of charm, with standout touches like a Vespa set into the floor and a vintage wool spinner. It’s in a great location—close to scenic walks and just 50 mins from Snowdon and Anglesey. The living area was spacious with lots of seating, great TV options (Netflix, Prime, Sky Sports), and a cosy log burner with plenty of logs. We loved the sauna, coffee machine with pods, and the fresh eggs left from the chickens! The village is lovely too—highly recommend the pizza truck in the square. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. A couple of small things: the kitchen sink was small and there’s no freezer (important if travelling with pets that are raw fed), the sofa wasn’t the comfiest, and the outdoor space wasn’t fully private as it backs onto the owners’ home. Still, we had a great time and would recommend it for a fun, characterful stay.

Great cottage with great secure outside space (perfect for our dog). Had everything you could need and lovely extra touches such as the welcome pack and even chocolates on the beds. Would definitely stay again next time we’re that way

it was the most beautiful, cosy cottage with stunning gardens. it was a home from home experience. cottage had everything we needed and more..It was extremely clean. Greg the host was absolutely amazing and responding in mins to any questions. We will definitely be staying there again. it was a magical place! can't praise this property enough. highly recommend anyone to stay there. We had the best time there and can't wait to go back. our little dogs loved it there too.

We had a lovely stay at Gillian’s cottage. It was everything we expected, comfortable and peaceful.

Absolutely fabulous stay. The property is a stunning renovation, very comfortable with a lovely open kitchen to the courtyard where the dogs popped in and out. Lovely comfortable beds and linen and fully equipped kitchen. What's not to like? Peace and quiet, interesting dog walks over the fields and stiles and great location for outings to the Cheshire countryside and North Wales. We were well organised to cater "at home" which was great since the setting was lovely, but a lack of local shops may not for everyone. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. It ticked all the boxes. I would add Kate and Marc were very helpful responding to messages and queries.

Such a beautiful place to stay if you want to be close to Liverpool but a little bit away from downtown. Kim and Jonathan were incredible hosts and the cottage was just simply perfect. We loved the location and how peaceful it was. Highly recommend this stay!

We felt completely relaxed and at home as soon as we arrived at the cottage. The descriptions and photos were all spot on. Having the family bathroom and en-suite was great for us as two couples. The property was very well appointed for us to stay in and enjoy relaxing there and also, very close to local restaurants and pubs for when we wanted to go out. The cottage was perfectly located to enjoy walks to the town and along the coastal paths. A lovely relaxing long weekend, we would highly recommend.

We come up from London for a christening. We needed a place to stay. When I come across Kate’s place. I fell in love. It was everything and more. I straight away felt at home the beds were so so comfortable. The place was very clean and had everything you could possibly need. Absolutely worth every penny. And we most definitely will stay again hopefully in November 🤞🏼 Thank you Kate. 🙏🏻

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

Matthew's Place is in a beautiful and quite neighbourhood. It's a 5 minute walk from the train station so you can get into the city very easily.

This was our second stay in the cottage & it didn’t disappoint. The communication following our booking & prior to arrival was amazing & Libby was extremely helpful. The cottage is so well maintained & cared for & in a beautiful location. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay in the cottage & I’m certain we will be back again! Thank you Libby x

Jill is a real gem. Nothing was too much trouble. She is helpful, kind and knowledgeable. We have never been so well looked after in an Airbnb and really appreciated all the extra treats. The cottage is delightful and is very clean and well equipped., in a picturesque setting in a unique village which is so pretty and interesting to visit. After a hectic day in Liverpool we spent a day relaxing and exploring the museum and art gallery and walking around looking at the beautiful architecture. It's hard to believe that these were cottages for the workers at the nearby factory. Parking is easy on the street outside and Liverpool so accessible from the nearby train station. We really hope to return.
