Great place to stay! A bit out of the way, but very well worth it, especially for several days or more! Very simple and welcoming but very, very comfortable and cozy. Everything you needed and more! Great stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay here while we were having some warranty repairs on our home- Bera was very welcoming and helpful, quick to communicate, and the house was perfect for us: clean, well stocked and cozy! Bera went above and beyond and we truly appreciate everything she did! Highly recommend!!

Place was great for a fair group of people plus two large dogs, everyone had space and it’s very close to a lot of things!

This weekend was nothing short of amazing. And the house matched the vibe to a T.

Lovely home and beautifully decorated. We had to stay for a week for my husband’s job and I work from home. It has a cozy office with great internet and a nice patio to hang out in the evening. The home was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

Our stay was fun and easy! Khani's place was just as pictured online and her response time to any inquiries was quick; she answered all our questions in advance and made sure we had everything we needed upon check-in. We were in Austin to visit family and the location was perfect for us. Easy to get to a lot of conveniences. The Taco and Thai food trucks on the corner were delicious if your into food trucks. We enjoyed the breakfast tacos the most. The first and only rental in Austin where I didn't need a sleeping mask at night because the window coverings are great. Seems strange to mention, but it's been hard to find. We will definitely stay here again, as we come to Austin multiple times during a year.

This place was amazing for our little family, including our pet! Walkable trails nearby for our dog, McKinney Falls nearby for hiking and swimming, and not too far from downtown. The hospitality was amazing too! Easy check in and out. Highly recommend!

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

Love at first sight! Perfect for a couples get away, plenty of room and things to do outdoors and private. Very clean and decor was very nice. We will definitely be back, we didn’t want to leave!

This is a 6 acre farm located in an equestrian community, there are 3 horses, 2 ponies, goats, sheep, ducks, chicken, parrots and plenty of other birds. The hosts will take you around the animals and explain how the whole farm came about as a second chance for the animals. There is a pool on the property for you to enjoy and we also took a ride on the Polaris. My son enjoyed spending time with Wyatt (9yrs old) who took him fishing on a nearby dock and took him around the pool, trampoline and played with water guns. Both Bastrop and Austin are 25mn away so the location is flexible to enjoy both towns while being on a farm.

OMG this house is GORGEOUS the photos don't even do it justice. It is surrounded by beautiful forest, peaceful, AC was ice cold, everything was spotless!! And there's shuffleboard! 10/10. Was exactly what I needed and more.

We enjoyed The Shack very much!! We take a yearly trip to the Whimberly areas and this year everything meet our expectations! Joshua was very attentive and we enjoyed his home.

My family and I loved staying at this cozy home nestled into the beautiful nature of the Texas Hill Country. Pulling in felt like arriving at a private resort, and we all enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck to watch the stunning sunset. Our kids loved playing in the perfect sized pool, and the adults loved the experience of relaxing in the sauna while listening to the birds sing outside. The retro arcade cabinet was a huge hit with the kids (and with me, I’ll admit), and we enjoyed watching a family movie on the projector screen upstairs (the kids felt like they were in a private movie theatre). Maria and Larry are incredibly welcoming and proactive hosts; if you need anything at all, they won’t hesitate to help. I could not recommend this place higher, and we definitely will be coming back!

This was a fabulous place to stay! Steven worked to make our stay easy and stress free. I ended up not bringing my pets and he initiated my refund for pet fee without me even asking!!! Plus I left stuff behind and he was helpful when I contacted him. We turned around to go back and i was assured my entry code still good! It was!! Thank you!

Everything went great Hannah was great clear instructions easy to find quite alot of food options not to far away close to the highway. Would recommend

We had a wonderful time at Tracen’s cabin, hiking, cooking, baking, playing games, fishing and kayaking. We loved the space and loved the 3-full bathrooms. That was a huge plus! As previously shared with Tracen, the only negative feedback was from our teenagers that the 2 top bunk mattresses were not very comfortable. We used what we could to help give them a little padding. Luckily, I brought a twin-size foam which helped a little. However, I would still highly recommend this place for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy time together with loved ones. We hope to be back ourselves if Tracen will have us again.

This was a thrifters dream! Our family had a wonderful stay and loved every detail! This home is in a quiet small town full of charm and is perfect distance from San Marcos to go to the river. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

The property and location are amazing! And Kristi is an excellent host.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. We brought our dog along and the Isaac & Mindi were cool with us having her off leash after communication. The outdoor shower was a hit! Tight space but was completely fine with us. Small detail to be aware of that the breaker shut off four different times. We had the microwave and coffee maker running. But then we just had the microwave running and the power still switched off. We ended up getting it working after switching the breaker. Other than that, real great stay! Owners weren't invasive and they were very responsive

Unbeatable Location! Jamie’s duplex is just minutes from town—perfect for walking or biking. The home is cozy, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Our small dog loved exploring the fenced-in yard. Jamie was kind, attentive, and went out of her way to help. She recommended the Wine Shop, which turned out to be a favorite. Lockhart is such a charming town. We’ll definitely be back and would absolutely stay here again!
