Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Luray

Becky’s place was wonderful. It was clean and we had so much fun getting away for the weekend. The location isn’t the easiest to find with a GPS and I wouldn’t recommend getting there for the first time in the dark, but once you know where you’re going it’s wonderfully secluded. Becky was so kind and helpful as well.

This is our second year here for Memorial Day weekend and it was just as great as the first! Hap and Jennie are communicative and responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed kayaking and boating on the river, hiking and relaxing on the porch and by the fire. The accommodations are comfortable and nice for our family (3 kids and 4 adults and a dog). The kitchen is the most well stocked air bnb I have ever seen! We cannot wait to return

The house was impressively clean. It was very private, and had a good amount of space for our family. We found our stay to be very comfortable. The space was well supplied. Nicole‘s communication was excellent, and we had an easy time getting in and checking out. It was in close driving proximity to Shenandoah national Park and downtown Luray which we enjoyed.

My family and I had a great time staying in the home. The images did not do it justice. We were shocked by the beauty of the views and scenery from their home. The property was large and our kids had a blast running around and playing in the treehouse. Highly recommend the place if you like nature and scenery. The train did pass a few times but our kids (ages 2-7) were fine with white noise at night. It didn’t disrupt our time at all. We also really enjoyed the game room. My wife loved using the kitchen and we were thankful they kept some spices on hand. The home is very kid friendly and one of the best airbnbs we’ve stayed at. We grilled, watched the stars from the jacuzzi, picnicked and explored the grounds. We even got to use the laundry room with a quick help from the host. Highly recommend!!

This is our favorite place to stop on the half way point of our trips! Our second stay here was just as incredible as the first and the snacks are so appreciated!!

We were so very pleased with this home. A five star is hard to hand out but this home got it! This is a pet friendly home which you would not even know the house was so clean had no smells of pets. The pictures were accurate the views were amazing. We loved the area the town was quaint the local restaurant were very good. The hot tub was crystal clean. Rules were clearly and cutely posted made our stay very simple. 5stars for sure

Great location and responsive hosts! Clean and comfortable! We identified a few maintenance type issues that they are addressing quickly, but nothing that made our stay less enjoyable. Highly recommend!

This place is SO nice!! It’s in one of those very nice peaceful and private neighborhoods. Lawrence and Sharon are super nice people. When I arrived I felt like the apartment was my home. Everything they say they provide in the listing is there and then some. The food in the fridge was a very nice touch. There’s even a bag of ice in the freezer.The kitchen is great! I cooked breakfast and made lunch with ease. I love that there is a dishwasher. The washer and dryer machines are really good quality! The walk in closet in the bedroom is niiice even though we didn’t really use it, but we used the hamper in there. The living room was very comfy. Everything is neat and clean. I really felt like it was our home. Everything you need is provided to you. There were directions throughout on how to use appliances. There is a binder with recommendations on restaurants, supermarkets, things to do, etc. I would 100% recommend this place and I hope to come back next year! Thank you!!

Besides the above, the place had an excellent internet connection with multiple outlets in both the bedroom and living area. Lots of small details throughout that showed a lot of thought went into providing comfort to whoever stayed there. Its appreciated.

Such a friendly host who truly cares about this property and the people who stay in it. She has a lovely welcome book with lots of information. I had a wonderful stay. Ruthann’s place was beautiful both inside and out. The room was spacious, spotless, and full of light, perfect for a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked, great water pressure in the shower. I especially loved the raised nook beside the bed; it was a lovely place to begin the day, reading by the morning light and listening to the birds. The private patio is peaceful, a well-shaded garden with comfortable furnishings; you can spend all day out there. Ruthann is just lovely. Her instructions for parking and accessing the space were clear, and she was very responsive and checked in with me each day. It was great to chat. I felt very welcome. I appreciated all the little touches, from snacks and water to the collection of DVDs. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and hope to stay again!

Loved our studio apartment in Shenandoah! The studio had everything we needed, was easily accessible and was quaint. We loved visiting the playground nearby and ice cream shop as well! Our little loved being able to see the mountains from the lobby, hearing and seeing the trains go by! Everything we wanted to see was 30 minutes away- some vineyards, the National Park, Luray Caverns, and so on! Thank you Brad and Elizabeth for opening your place to my small family! We hope to visit again one day!

Everything was great!!!!! We needed a place to rest our heads for the night and it was perfect. Also so nice to sleep in a good bed! You don’t always find that on air bnb :)

Beautifully decorated and extremely clean! Had everything we could have possibly wanted and the location was perfect for visiting wineries and breweries! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the area!

We had a wonderful stay! Close to Shenandoah NP for easy access each day. Space was perfect for us and our son. The patio was perfect for having our meals - with a great view and the sound of sheep from down the hill! Very peaceful. We are so glad we found this stay - highly recommend!

We came for a graduation and Bill’s space was perfect for what we needed: private, clean, and comfortable. He was welcoming but not intrusive, and we felt safe. We’d definitely stay again!

Communication was great, the location was nice and the description of the facility was spot on. It was roomy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Andy was very responsive and gave clear instructions. We had been at this resort a few times in the past and the unit we received was very nicely appointed and updated. We had all amenities and were super close to the indoor pool and gym. Comfortable.

Molly was a great host. The Airbnb looks exactly like the photos. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was quiet and we couldn’t hear any neighbors. Molly gave very detailed instructions which made checking in super simple. The beds were a little bit hard but other than that, this was a perfect place to stay.

Great stay. Isaac was easy to deal with. The place is beautiful and in a great location. We would definitely come back. It needs more hangers and more towels. Next time I will bring an extra set of towels for each bathroom with me. Very easy check out. Very relaxing stay.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. This will definitely be on our bucket list for another stay in the future!

We had a great girls weekend at Melissa’s. The property was the perfect size for 4 and was very convenient! Ear plugs and white noise machines really helped with the street noise. Melissa was very responsive and helpful.

The rental and grounds met our expectations and needs very well. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The pool and hot tub were just right. Comfy beds and cozy common area.
