Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lynmouth

Just had 4 nights at the West Wing, it was well presented and had its own character and charm. We loved the surroundings and most definitely loved the fresh eggs for breakfast. The hosts were great and we immediately felt relaxed and at home. I would highly recommend a visit.

A blissful retreat, with absolutely stunning views. The Bothy is cozy and well kitted out, and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful.

We booked this for a special birthday for 3 generations of the family The house was beyond our expectations! So well equipped and very clean The views were absolutely amazing Our 3 grandsons loved it and especially the visit to feed the animals and were very excited to collect the eggs Samantha was a fabulous host and we would fully recommend her house and we would love to return again

We chose this venue as it was recommended by Upton Barnes’s wedding venue where my son and his fiance were getting married. We were able to accommodate all of my side of the family for the wedding and the newly married couple joined us on Sunday to entertain members of the wedding party With a cooked breakfast followed by a barbecue lunch. There was plenty of space seating and parking for the approximately 25 people who visited us over the day.. Tracey was very helpful host and the house was equipped extremely well a three-year-old grandson had an enormous range of toys to entertain him. I cannot recommend this property more highly

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely gesture by the host with the bottle of Prosecco thank you 😊 Claire was very helpful and responsive to messages. Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. Had a great time staying here with all the family, the house is so close to the beach it was perfect for us! Was such an easy and chill stay with a surprise hamper full of goodies when we arrived. Would love to stay here again and Tristan was super helpful with recommendations and extra info!

What can we say, from booking our stay, to leaving after an amazing week, we truly felt at home. Kam and Bens home is beautiful throughout, there wasn’t one thing that we thought we needed or wanted that wasn’t provided for. Kam met us on arrival, earlier than we expected, and showed us around her wonderful home, all instructions in a helpful guide in the kitchen, even tide times, for trips. Great advice for our trip to Lundy, she even sent us up to date weather forecast . Kam provided us with mobile numbers if we were stuck for anything, and ensured it was ok for Ben to check the hot-tub, when we were out. Lovely touches, such as robes for getting out of the tub, were much appreciated. Superb hosts, will definitely visit again, our daughter and her partner joined us for a few days and loved every minute, lovely walk to the beach, only 10mins away, and the most amazing sunsets from the lounge and bedroom . Wonderful place, perfect for a surfing trip and super handy for places to eat in town. Parking plus electric charging was ideal! Our dog loved it and felt instantly at home. Will be coming back!

The apartment was an absolute dream With beautiful views across the harbour and the sea - There’s not many places you can book where you can see both the sunrise and the sunset from the same balcony. The pictures don’t do this place justice, the kitchen is lovely and fully equipped with everything you need. The apartment is lovely and clean and spacious plus comes with your own parking space outside. You also gain access by a key lock which was perfect for us arriving in the late evening. We walked down to the harbour for drinks and food and this was a short walk from the apartment. Leila’s communication was also fantastic. We absolutely loved our stay.

I had a lovely last-minute stay at Liz’s place — it was absolutely perfect for a quiet night away. It had everything and more needed for it. The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly what I needed. Liz was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I would 100% return. Highly recommend!

Lovely two nights in this hidden gem. We were late bookers and delighted with location, accommodation and hosts. For the two of us and our hound it was perfect; we received a welcome greeting and the treats were a lovely surprise. Shame for us we only had two nights there.

Loved our stay. Beautiful apartment, absolutely spotless and had everything you could possibly need. Loved the area it was in- walkable distance from the High Street in Minehead yet very peaceful with great walks from the doorstep through streets of beautiful houses and amazing views. Was visiting our daughter and didn’t realise Minehead was such a nice town with beautiful places such as Lynmouth and Porlock pretty near. Thank you for such a lovely place to stay

An absolutely lovely flat. Comfortable, tastefully decorated and furnished & lovingly styled. Everything you need is there and everything was spotless. The gardens are beautiful and it’s a very peaceful location. Just a 10/15 minute walk along the River Lim into Lyme and the beach front. Samantha is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. I recommend highly!

Very helpfull, good communication, great suggestions and most of all, a lovely house. The initial form filling and deposit providing on their own platform was kind of jarring and a bit of a hassle but I guess thats how they maintain it so well and it was well worth the state of the place. Would 100% recommend, dont let the form filling stop you!

Great 2 day break away. A bit dated, but had everything we needed and the bed was very comfy.

Nile are a awesome man how help me a lot. My plan with the without the house couldn’t take me and my friends, so we were standing without anywhere to live thanks to Neil. My wife didn’t divorce me.

We had a wonderful 5 days staying at Jakki's house. We had a range of ages from 60 - 16months and it catered for all. There was a bonus of a small enclosed trampoline and a slide for the little children which they thoroughly enjoyed. The house has plenty of space and was very peaceful. The only very very small negative would be that the bathroom upstairs has no shower and the steps to the bath make it very awkward to sit down/kneel on tiled steps when bathing small children. Apart from that we had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

The most stunning home to spend some quiet, wholesome family time and get out of London. The walk down to the beach was definitely worth it (our 4 year old agreed) The house is so amazing with its high ceilings and grand rooms and amazing antique furniture. We had all the grandparents with us and 2 kids and there was plenty of space.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

We loved its quirkiness, but Weeke Barton is an old building with uneven floors and low ceilings and spiral staircases which were a challenge. The stairs didn’t defeat us, but they are tricky. The rooms are warm even when a log fire is needed, which is recommended, and the beds are very comfy. All the bedrooms are great and full of history and character, which is the same for the whole of Weeke Barton. The location is also ideal for exploring Dartmoor, for riverside running and good food pubs. There is enough to do locally when it rains, and perfect walks for when it’s sunny.
