A sparkling clean house, furnished with lots of love and practicality. There are many small details to discover, the terrace and the garden invite you to use them. The environment is amazingly versatile. We were very warmly welcomed and felt very comfortable. The tips we received were extremely helpful.

We felt completely comfortable in Uta's cottage! The communication with Uta was great. The accommodation is super quiet on the edge of the village - perfect for really switching off. Inside, everything you need is there: a small, well-equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a comfortable bed, a cozy sofa with TV - everything to make you feel at home. Beautiful walking paths start right outside the door. Our highlight was the completely fenced (dog-proof!) garden. There, our furry friend could run around freely, play or doze in the grass. Everything was there for the dog (dog blanket for the sofa, food/water bar, garden hose and towels). From the terrace, you have a great view of the countryside - ideal for letting your thoughts wander or enjoying the sunset. In short: For us, the perfect accommodation to relax and simply unwind - far away from the hustle and bustle, neighbors and everyday stress.

I spent a very relaxed and quiet weekend at home with my dog. The house is really nice and has everything you need. Especially great for running with the dog is the forest right outside the front door. Communication with Lotta was straightforward and always friendly and courteous. I'd be happy to come back!

On the spur of the moment, the three of us spent 2 days in Manfred's beautifully located house, quiet with a wonderful view. From there, we could make wonderful excursions into the surrounding area. We immediately felt very comfortable, the house and property are clean and lovingly maintained. Bathroom very small with shower. Bedroom small and friendly, kitchen offers everything you need (hot water takes a long time..) A kind of winter garden invites you to linger in the evening. Absolutely recommended for people with a love of nature in a beautiful retreat.

The apartment was clean, spacious and located in the centre of Altena: a bakery almost in front of the house and the castle only a couple stairs away. Everything was beautifully decorated and the kitchen looked brand new. There were a lot of games available and the dishwasher was a unexpected bonus! Two notes: the two-person bed downstairs is not very big, and the couch is comfortable for three people, four if you squeeze (this we knew before hand). The communication with Kai was great. We had a very nice stay with 5 people! I would recommend this apartment! :)

This was an amazing place to stay. You feel at home with the first step that you take into this cute house. It is cozy, comfortable, and is stocked with anything you need for the first day you arrive. The Kitchen is equiped with all the necessary things, ready for a chef to cook for family or friends. We highly recommend a stay at Annelene's, the apartment was great with everything you need, lovely surroundings with animals and a wonderful garden. The apartment is exactly as described. Tastefully furnished with a very nice view into the scenery. With our dog, we were able to take beautiful hikes nearby. Maik was always available and also warned us about black ice. We are happy to recommend the accommodation.

Great, central place with good connections and good communication with the host

The Stranzenburg is a super cool and extraordinary location. In addition to the flair of the 15th-18th century, a neighboring property with a bathing pond, charcoal grill, etc. is also available. We were here with a group of friends and were able to spend an exciting weekend; our crime thriller dinner planned for the holiday also found the perfect location as a setting! Ursula was always very easy to reach as a landlady and is also a great contact person. The cake that Ursula baked and prepared for the handover of the AirBnB was also super delicious. We can therefore recommend the accommodation to anyone who is looking for something unusual and wants to experience a special flair of the accommodation :-)

The apartment is really very high quality, the kitchen is super nice and modern. The building from the outside and the corridors to the room are less beautiful, but the accommodation can't help it. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed during our stay, which was a pity for us, as this was already a decisive aspect, which is why we were also willing to pay a little more. Overall, however, we had a great time and the apartment itself is, as I said, absolutely great and recommended.

Due to the delay of our new building and the agreed date of departure from our old house, we had to quickly find a furnished apartment. This was even more difficult because we wanted to move in with a cat and a dog. From the first contact, our landlords had an open ear for all our problems or difficulties and, above all, always a solution. From the first day we felt very comfortable in our temporary home. The apartment has everything you need for everyday life and is very spacious. The surrounding area is a dream and invites you to take long walks or hike. All in all, a top accommodation that we can only recommend too much.

We were at the accommodation over a weekend and were super satisfied. It was like a mini vacation. We were greeted personally with our dog and were allowed to share the beautifully landscaped garden. The apartment was very cool, which was a blessing at 30 degrees. Thanks for a great stay

Owner super friendly, if you have questions they are quickly reachable. Beautifully developed living space and a large terrace. A quiet place and not far from the lake, you can spend your time there very well and enjoy.

We felt very comfortable as a family. A fantastic place to stay and surroundings, a great playground and play opportunities for children. Highlights were the animals, the fireplace and the sauna. We'll be back!

We were in Plettenberg for a short trip and felt comfortable in the small apartment. There were three of us, so one person slept on the sofa bed. For a long vacation, that would certainly not be relaxing, but for the two days, it is definitely feasible. The description of the apartment was completely accurate. The kitchen was well equipped and it was really super clean and furnished with love. Communication with Christine was very straightforward and access to the apartment worked as described via a key safe. Unfortunately, we had really bad luck with the weather, which is why we felt a bit cooped up. We would have liked to use the terrace.

I'm so glad I came here! it was so peaceful and beautiful 😍 it was the perfect place to just chill, enjoy, and write. Michael and Janine are super friendly and always there to help. The bed was super comfy to sleep in so I slept like a baby. My favorite part was the amazing view from the balcony and so private and quiet...what can I say, absolutely fantastic! the only thing that could possibly make it better is if there was a bathroom attached to the cabin so I don't have to walk over to the house every time but I already knew there before I went so regardless of this, I give this place 5 stars because I loved it-- and I'm 100% sure I'll be back💖
