Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Martel

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It is a truly exceptional, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. The house and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to turn the old train station into a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation very much. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could once again use my "rusty" French skills. Thank you for everything!

In the pedestrian area, but quiet, refurbished, well arranged, nice decor, Jeremy's studio allows you to enjoy life in the city center of Brive, everything can be done on foot. Good value for money.

We loved this place. The location was perfect. Just steps away from the most beautiful medieval town of Sarlat. Close to a grocery store and a bank. You can park in front of the apartment for one hour free. Then you can easily find free parking down the street turn right at the Park sign. More parking up the road. We very much enjoy our stay in this lovely apartment.

From the moment we arrived it felt like home away from home, great location in the heart of Serlat, perfect for two couples, plenty of room, any questions asked where answered straight away, we were even able to stay an extra night which was great. Only one critic ! The bathroom with bath would be good if we could gang the shower head up ? That is my only critic, as the bath is amazing 🙂

We spent 10 magical days at Tyler’s charming apartment located just above the church in the old city. It is an ideal location for exploring all the wonders of the Dordogne, as we headed out each day in a different direction. The spacious apartment is absolutely charming - wonderfully decorated with interesting antiques. We loved hearing the chiming of the church bells out the windows, enjoyed the local bistros, daily purchased croissant from the corner boulangerie and even had free parking a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Laura downstairs was very responsive when we had concerns, although we had very few as the apartment was spotless, had all the amenities we needed, and we were just steps away from the rest of Sarlat.

We had a very good stay at the Moulin aux Ans, the accommodation is very cute, overlooking the waterway, the environment is quiet and very pretty. The pool available is great (to share with the other cottages). Small outdoor terrace very nice and several garden lounges available on the site. Valérie gave us very good advice about the surroundings and told us about good restaurants.

Beautiful house, clean and pleasant. 9 km from Sarlat. Very well located for visiting the best sites and villages. A very large enclosed garden for our 4-legged friends or safety for our children, not to mention the small swing. Not to mention the very kind welcome and the delicate attention for our arrival. And very important, good bedding. Don't hesitate.

excellent welcome from Andrew. it is an ideal accommodation to be quiet, well-equipped, and cool especially with the great heat that accompanied us. The pool was a comfort after the hikes that can be done in the surroundings. I thank our host again for his attentions.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Stephane and Bob's beautiful gite. They are very friendly and thoughtful hosts who have a fabulous home and garden. Our daughter loved the pool and felt very at home (as did we). The perfect place to relax but also very close to lots of places to visit. We hope to return! Many thanks 🙏

We had a wonderful holiday in Montvalent. Very quiet area, nice and large homely accommodation with all the necessary amenities. Very good beds and bedding. Magnificent terrace with beautiful views at the rear. Large covered terrace at the front door with picnic table and plancha. The swimming pool is the place to be on hot days, very well maintained and plenty of seating. Our dog had the time of his life in the enclosed garden. Kind people with a big heart for the environment and their farm. We would love to come back😊.

Excellent stay at Nicolas and Marlene's. First of all, amazed by the environment and the magnificent view, we were won over by the kindness and enthusiasm of Nicolas and Marlene and their 2 adorable boys. We had a very good stay, in a very well-appointed apartment, very clean, quiet and at the same time close to the center we wanted to visit. A warm welcome.

A perfect position, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, and easy to come and go from. The home was comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our 4 day stay. We did not meet our hosts, but they were very helpful in sending recommendations for sites and restaurants in the area and very quick to respond to our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this place as a perfect base for a stay in the Dordogne area.

Maggie has a well-equipped apartment, everything we needed was present up to and including an ironing board and iron. Apartment remains pleasantly cool at outside temperatures of around 30 degrees. The terrace has comfortable armchairs with footstools and a dining table with 4 chairs. During the day, there is a lot of traffic on the road that runs past the terrace and garden. Fortunately, there is little traffic noise in the evening. We could park our car on the premises and with 10 minutes walk you can reach Sarlat, as well as the Carfour market. Sarlat itself is beautiful but on a market day too busy for our taste. In the evening, it is a pleasant town for a bite and a drink.

We thank Lucien, warm and very responsive host. Her place was spotless and conveniently located. Traffic is, however, quite important which causes a little noise in the evening but in general, everything was perfect and in line with the description.

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.
