nice quiet place in the hills

The listing is an absolute recommendation. It is beautiful, clean and functional. The view over the hills of Tuscany is breathtaking and the pool area is simply wonderful. We were all very comfortable. It is the middle of three townhouses and we were lucky that we were the only tenants there, so we had the whole terrace and pool to ourselves. The way to the accommodation is a bit difficult to negotiate, especially with a large car. But it's definitely worth it! Alessandra is incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful. The surroundings (nature, cities, etc.) are ideal for smaller and larger excursions.

Thankyou Brian (and family) for what was an unforgettable magical experience. The villa far surpassed all our expectations. The villa is beyond beautiful and oozes rustic charm, perfect for a large group. Rooms were clean and with beautiful views (on the top floor) to wake up to, so much so that it felt like a dream. Bathrooms were lovely and higher spec than expected for such an old building. swimming pool serves it's purpose, but it's in a gorgeous garden amongst olive groves....stunning. Brian and family were the perfect balance of keeping in touch and ensuring we had everything we needed whilst ensuring that we felt we had the place to ourselves, a perfectly ran operation. We arranged a dinner one evening in the house cooked by Brian's mother which was an amazing experience to enjoy such a wonderful setting with friends. thank you Brian! we already hope to return in future.

We had a great week with Giovanna and Antonio. They are both very nice, helpful and always available for questions. The house is exactly as in the pictures, very cozy and we felt comfortable right away. The shared garden is beautiful and the pool is great to cool off on a hot day. Lucca is about 10 minutes away by car and Pisa and Florence are also easy to reach. We 100% recommend the place. Thanks for the great time :-)
