Les belles plages de l’océan arborant le pavillon bleu et sentiers côtiers sont accessibles à pied par le GR34 qui longe la maison. À mi-chemin entre Auray et Lorient venez découvrir cette magnifique région et vous ressourcer.

La Cidrerie, haven between countryside & ocean

On appelle ce lieu “La Cidrerie” parce qu’à l’origine, il servait réellement à la fabrication du cidre. Autrefois, on y pressait les pommes, on y faisait fermenter le jus dans des tonneaux, produisait, stockait et dégustait le cidre. En observant attentivement l’entrée, on peut remarquer dans la pierre des traces d’usure caractéristiques : ce sont les marques laissées par le passage répété des tonneaux de cidre. Le nom, ces marques sont comme des témoins silencieux du passé.

Recently and completely renovated, we did everything to keep its authenticity. You will enjoy the calm of the countryside, near the sea: the small sea of Gâvres is a 5-minute drive away, the Gâvres peninsula, its beaches and Port-Louis are 8 minutes away.
