What an amazing house, dog friendly, too! Perfect location for our family wedding. Frances was most helpful and very accommodating. Will stay again next time we visit family in Holmbridge.

We stayed for a wedding that was happening locally in Marsden. Flexible check-in made it nice and easy to drop our bags and get dressed before heading into Marsden. Taxi back from Marsden was only £7 and we walked back in the next day to get our car with a pavement running all the way into town. Accommodation was spotless, bed was comfy, shower was hot and powerful. Complimentary coffee and tea. Couldn’t find fault at all. We opted for breakfast the next morning at £15 per person. Included full English, toast & jams, tea/coffee and juice. Was very well cooked. Thank you 😀

Beautiful location. Own parking area. Clean tidy rooms. Bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was a god send after all the walks. Selection of cereal in room along with plenty of tea and coffee and a pint of milk in the fridge. Claire and Robbie were great hosts. Gave us a run down of Castleton and where to go. Friendly banter and made us feel very welcome. They were very responsive to anything we asked. Highly recommend this as a place to stay as it is accessible to so many walks including Mam Tor and Castleton has numerous pubs and restaurants to choose in such a small area so there is always somewhere to have refreshment and nourish after a walking day. What a lovely place to stay. The accommodation is on the edge of the town centre (2 minutes walk away) so easy to get to, but in a really peaceful and quiet location overlooking fields and the Castle Woods. Communication from Sally, the host, was prompt and nothing was too much trouble for her. The accommodation itself was beautiful. Everything pristine and tidy, with all you need, including some yummy chocolate biscuits. Breakfast was lovely, and we just had a really relaxing and pleasant stay.

If you need a place to stay in Marple this is the place. A beautiful house, exceptionally clean and comfortable topped off with the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I can highly recommend this gorgeous guest house and the attentive hosts.

The place was spotless, beautifully styled, and had every little touch that made it feel like a home away from home — and even breakfast included, we felt truly welcomed. Brian is a great host, very amiable and helpful and we had some interesting conversations. He provides a wonderful English breakfast on time every morning, piping hot, on a hot plate too! Brian takes great care in providing a great start to your day. Happy for you to come and go as to you please. Parking permit provided, a big plus. Comfortable room. Great value.

Jane was an incredible host and so hospitable. The breakfast in the morning was great and so were her suggestions for hikes and local spots. Would definitely love to stay again!

Really nice canalside location, great vibe inside. Andrew was a cracking host, and the breakfast was lovely, he was happy to cater for vegetarians. Comfy bed, great shower, and a formidable library of books for your pleasure. Lovely bloke, lovely place, will definitely visit again.

I really enjoyed my stay! Angela was very welcoming and friendly, and had great recommendations for my stay. The place was beautiful and was a good base for some amazing hikes.

I had a wonderful time staying with Karen and Phil.They were so friendly and helpful.The house was beautiful and the bedroom was extremely comfortable,it was stocked with many items to make a stay even more special.The breakfast was excellent and all in all it was a fabulous place to stay,thank you very much Karen and Phil,I hope to come and stay another time.

We had a wonderful time staying in Hebden Bridge. Manya and her husband were so friendly and accommodating! The house is beautiful and our room was lovely and cosy. The breakfast prepared for us was super tasty! The location was perfect and easy to find. If we ever stay in the area again we will definitely come back to this b&b, and recommend to friends too!☺️

This was the perfect stay for a local wedding - the hosts were the friendliest and most accommodating of our arrival, plans and all requests we had during our stay. Would give 6 stars 🌟 for the hosts if this was possible as they couldn’t have been more friendly welcoming. The bacon sandwiches for breakfast were spot on and the bar in the pub was incredibly welcoming. The room was clean and had everything we needed, the bed was really comfortable as well. Great stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The White Swan! Di was super helpful and responsive, the room itself was lovely, very clean, full of amenities and bed super comfy. We also enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the pub, they were even able to accommodate for my gluten allergy which I was grateful for. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay again ☺️

Claire was a wonderful host. She could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. I had a lovely room, a comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with her and highly recommend her as a generous host.

Wendy has a beautiful home that she keeps in tip top shape. We had a great stay, especially with a dog. Wendy was very welcoming and left us to our own devices to explore the local area, with good driving distance to the Peaks.
