The Old Steam House

The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. We are a 2 minute walk to the village shops and pub. We have fibre cable to the premises so very fast Wi-Fi!

Located in pretty Mousehole, the most quintessential of fishing villages, you have everything you need right on your doorstep - safe, sandy beach, great places to eat and drink, unique galleries and shops and the SW Coastal Path.

Perfectly positioned next to the sea, it is a few steps from the beach and just around the corner from all village amenities including award-winning restaurants, shops. delicatessens and two pubs. The cottage is set over three floors and features beautiful original features, alongside contemporary finishes. A cosy fireplace, private courtyard and beamed ceilings alongside a pretty plant-filled courtyard - the perfect place for a morning coffee or BBQ, or relax on the private sun terrace with a glass of something chilled as the sun goes down.

Best described by previous guests; Fall straight into Cornish time with lazy mornings, long days and joyful returns. mOlly mUppeT is hidden amongst the houses behind the owners cottage and she soon becomes a real home and a stunning place from which to explore. So very cute in every way, the attention to detail is second to none. The bed was like sleeping on a fluffy cloud, whilst the garden was a little piece of heaven. A memorable base for a memorable holiday!

April Cottage is one of the oldest traditional cottages in West Cornwall and located a stones throw from Mousehole harbour. Tucked away on a quiet side road the cottage is a perfect place to escape and relax.
