They didn’t miss a single detail in this gorgeous mountain home. Cooking, the jacuzzi, sitting for hours on the patio watching the storms roll across the mountain tops, sleeping on a comfy bed, playing board games, watching movies, everything was wonderful! It’s a great location that’s easy to get to Townsend, and it’s super close to some of my favorite areas in the Smoky Mountains. Well done Karly and Joe!

Wowee! First of all, the host was extremely communicative. Chris had quick responses and believe me I bugged her quite a bit with oddball questions! The view is astonishing. The fire pit was magical. The hot tub was relaxing. Andrews is a quite the small town so we recommend a 30 minute drive to Murphy! Enjoy. The. View.

Absolutely gorgeous. Here's what to expect: "Rustic" in the description means it's an older home. The sliding screen doors need a little elbow grease to close and open. The pool is clean and beautiful, but has rough edges from the rocks. The hot tub is a little older. The bed squeaks a bit. And it doesn't matter one bit. This home is stunning. So peaceful. So relaxing. We didn't even leave for 4 days and were so happy just relaxing, cooking amazing meals, soaking in the hot tub and loving the breathtaking views. Perfect for a romantic stay or two couples. I can't wait to go back. Also, the kitchen was really well stocked. WiFi was great. Swing by Publix in Waynesville to stock up, bring some charcoal for the grill and whip up delicious dinners in the wonderful kitchen. You're going to love it.

My husband and I had a wonderful time. This was one of the most amazing places we ever stayed. The place was even better than we thought it would be. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. They were very responsive and helpful. If you were looking for somewhere to stay with amazing views and an amazing home, this is your place !!!!! Thank you Shelly & Jack for letting us stay in your beautiful, cozy cabin! This was the perfect location to relax, unwind, and recharge in nature. My parents drove down to meet my husband and I, and we all had the most incredible family weekend. I was celebrating my 30th birthday and couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate. Hiking in The Great Smoky Mountains was fantastic. We loved The Alum Cave Trail into Le Conte for a 10-mile, strenuous day hike. The hot tub felt so good after that! My parents did an open-air Bryson City Train ride and loved the experience. Bryson City Bakery for breakfast is a MUST! Jimmy Mac’s was the best hometown original, authentic feeling diner...with the best fried pickles we’ve ever had! Shelly and Jack are incredibly responsive and were happy to provide additional recommendations! Thanks for a great trip!!

Me and my husband searched for the perfect romantic getaway for our late honeymoon/ 1 year anniversary. When we came across Knotty But Nice we were sold! The view was immaculate, pictures do not do justice. The house was extremely clean and cozy. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing. Overall peaceful and private! The drive up was pretty scary the first time, I’m definitely glad that we had an SUV! But 10/10 recommend! We are already planning another trip in the fall. Thanks Dana & Trish! 😊

Mary and her husband, Matthew, were very accommodating hosts! Luna Lodge is indeed a cozy little getaway near Bryson City and the Smoky Mountains, with enough space for myself, my girlfriend and her tiny 3lb Yorkie to be comfortable. We picked up groceries for our 2-night stay at the Ingles market ~10 minutes away from the cabin. Our hosts had provided all the necessary seasonings we needed in addition to utensils, cooking appliances and the Nespresso machine which I got a lot of use from :) Would recommend if you're a city-dweller like myself and want a few days in the wilderness to "reset" and clear your head - away from all the distractions of the real world. I did have a very important video call with my company's CEO and CRO that I needed to take during our trip and was fortunate enough that the cabin wifi was up to speed!

Absolutely lovely home with a wonderful creek right beside the home! We so enjoyed our weeks stay! Plenty of amenities provided, house was clean and in good order, everything you would need to start was provided, great communication and such a beautiful peaceful creek! We had such a great time staying at Catherine's place! The pictures don't do this place justice. The views were spectacular from the deck! We loved seeing the horses and goats graze every night in front of the place. The bed was super comfy too! You won't regret booking this place. We will definitely be back again!!

This place was perfect for our little family getaway! The cabin amenities were awesome! The hot tub and pool were incredibly clean and the highlight for our kiddos. We were also just a 10 minute drive to the heart of Pigeon Forge for adventures, but this site was so private and peaceful. The host were very easy to communicate with and explained everything crystal clear. We loved our time here and will definitely be back again!

The cabin was exactly as described, with all the listed amenities and a welcoming, peaceful energy. It held true to everything we were hoping for - private, quiet, and full of good vibes. The hosts were kind and responsive, even before our arrival. They provided clear directions, including a helpful video that guided us right to their tucked-away mountain retreat. That level of care made a big difference and helped us settle in quickly. The home itself was clean, thoughtfully maintained, and had everything we needed for a restful stay. We enjoyed early mornings on the deck, long quiet drives through the Smokies, and simply being still. It allowed for a much needed pause. We had a positive experience and would absolutely recommend this beautiful hideaway .

We totally enjoyed staying at Cast Away cabin. The river is very close and easy to get into. Sitting on the large deck and listening to the river is so relaxing. My husband commented on how comfortable the bed was. I would note that the air conditioning was not all that efficient but was acceptable. There was not a hair dryer, which I am pretty sure was mentioned as an accessory they had. For those who may be wondering, the coffee pot is regular ground kind and they have a small coffee bar there with coffee, sugar, etc. We just took our pod coffee maker but I thought the coffee bar was nice. The place is small, as is noted, but is well kept up and cutely decorated. I would recommend for a river getaway, especially if you have a dog who would enjoy the river as much as ours did.

This place was excellent! We came here for our honeymoon and it was so hard to leave. Everything was clean, plenty of resources such as coffee, towels, etc, were available for use! I don’t think we skipped an evening in the hot tub or a morning on the top level taking in the scenery! I also appreciated our host checking in with us to make sure everything was going well. We are pretty picky when it comes to a place to stay on vacation, but this cabin fulfilled all of our needs plus more! We are already planning our next trip back here!

Our stay was beyond perfect! The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. The home was in perfect condition. The loft was great as was the hot tub! We spent 3 nights here and fell in love with the space and surroundings. So many little things were provided that made us feel right at home. You may share the driveway with another guest but you never really even know anyone is there. The hot tub is a nice touch with privacy and comfort. The expansive deck allowed for porch sitting, bird listening, lunch and dinner. The container is spotless! This is truly an excellent place to visit and it is one that’s been added to our favorites! Bonus info: go right coming out of the driveway for beautiful creek views, swinging bridge, and some great picnic spots on the river!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful mountain cabin! The house was even better than the pictures — spotlessly clean, thoughtfully arranged, and very cozy. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking — better than most scenic overlooks in the national park. The main bedroom was especially comfortable, and we loved spending time on the porch just soaking in the mountain views. The place was also stocked with tons of fun board games and a great pool table, which made our evenings extra enjoyable. We were truly impressed and would love to come back again. But the absolute highlight of this place is the view — it’s simply unforgettable.

Absolutely beautiful! Just a warning that this cabin will raise your expectations for every other stay afterwards. Michael thought of everything that you might need during your stay and then exceeds those expectations. The whole home is just perfectly beautiful and perfectly decorated. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked beyond just the essentials, including spices, cooking utensils, teas, coffees, pots/pans, etc. The beds are delightfully comfortable. And the view... the view from the living room and the front porch is just beautiful. You will not be disappointed if you book this cabin. Just do it! I hope to revisit in the future.

What a magical place! The view is even better than the pictures! This was the most beautiful and peaceful Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at. The place was spotless and felt like home. I loved the soft lighting the moment you walked in. It was the perfect place to enjoy our 11th wedding anniversary. We hope you come back!
