Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nantan

This was a beautiful and peaceful stay in the country side. Shun was so kind and picked us up at the train station and took us to the supermarket as it was dinner time and restaurants were closed. His wife drove us to the station day of check out which was extremely kind. Great place to stay to get away from the city with a great host!

Le logement est parfait, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le quartier est très agréable, nous recommandons fortement ce logement ! Les hôtes sont également très accueillants et réactifs.

Terry was an amazing host from start to finish. She picked us up and dropped us off at the local metro station, although it's only an 8 minute walk, it was a big help with the luggage. She was always in touch, for example when a electric kettle was not working well, she immediately replaced it (there was also a normal kettle to use in the meantime!). The space was perfect for our needs, well equipped, clean, cozy, and had a sense of nostalgia that was very enjoyable. It's in a quiet neighborhood behind a historic temple, a few minutes walk to grocery stores, a delightful neighborhood izakaya, bakeries, and a place for the best breakfast and coffee ever called Hive. I will definitely stay at Terry's place the next time I make it to Kyoto... hopefully soon!

A very nice house in a pleasant and "normal" area away from the crowds of central Kyoto. Although the house is not huge, it is both modern/comfortable as well as a traditional Kyoto house. Nice hosts, too!

文香女士是一个非常认真负责的人！房子的位置有点难找，但文香女士耐心地从711接到我们，并把我们送到房子。她的房子也很漂亮，很古朴，有日本历史的韵味，带一个小院子。旁边就是金阁寺，适合散步到达。

ホストとのコミュニケーションは問題なく、要望についても聞いていただけました。 建物は独立していて気兼ねなく滞在できました。 野球盤等のゲームがあったのが良かったです。 6人での宿泊の場合は、２名はダブルベッドでの宿泊となるので気をつけてください。

We had a wonderful stay at Hatsumi’s place. She welcomed us with warmth and even helped us book an amazing dinner at a local restaurant and book a taxi for an excursion. The location is great, only 20/25 mins away from Kyoto main city and 1 min walk from the train station. The perfect place for peace and zen after wandering round Kyoto. The surrounding area is very picturesque and beautiful. The hinoki wood bath is such a treat after a long day. Such a wonderful experience staying in a traditional Japanese house. There is a convenience store and supermarket nearby for your needs. We can’t recommend this place enough, already looking forward to coming back!

This is a wonderful, walkable location to everything Kyoto. If it is not walkable, then the station or bus stop surely is to get to where you need to go. We found it to be amazing, convenient, comfortable, quiet to sleep, and in a great location. Would definitely recommend! Also host is very responsive and provides great amenities, such as a washer and fridge.

The place is in a lovely residential area where you really get to feel the vibe of the city. We arrived quite early just to drop off our baggage before heading out, and we happened to come in while two women were still cleaning. They were incredibly kind and made an effort to communicate with us, even though they didn’t speak English — we truly appreciated that. The instructions were very clear, everything we needed was provided, and the space itself was clean, peaceful, and cozy. We immediately felt at home. Thank you so much for letting us check in early! Bonus tip for future guests: there’s a LUUP bike station right outside the gate — a perfect cherry on top if you’re planning to explore the area by bike.

Gorgeous place with a nice quiet location by a station and restaurants. Hosts were very kind and were happy to help us with our bags and give local recommendations.

The apartment was very nice and located very close to a train station making it very easy to get around Kyoto. Royce was an excellent host and answered very quickly. I would stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here too.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Kyoto. Le logement était conforme aux photos, propre et bien situé. L’instruction pour récupérer les clés mériterait d’être clarifiée (il était indiqué de tourner dans un sens, alors qu’il fallait faire l’inverse), mais heureusement, une personne très gentille à la réception nous a aidés. Après notre départ, j’ai pensé avoir oublié un objet dans l’appartement : l’hôte a été très réactif et m’a assisté rapidement, ce que j’ai beaucoup apprécié. Merci encore !

Perfect place and location!

My partner and I enjoyed having Matsuishi Hostel as our home base while exploring Kyoto for about 3 days. The space itself had everything we needed like washer/dryer, mini fridge, and a big comfy bed! We loved the surrounding area so much and every restaurant we tried was delicious! Even through late night walks the street felt safe. Thank you to Aika for a memorable stay.

The Kyoto apartment was well positioned, close to several bus lines and only about a five minute walk from the river and many restaurants and bars. The washing machine was appreciated and it felt more down to earth to get the experience of a proper apartment while on our travels. The hosts were very communicative and made us feel well hosted.

The host is the most amazing and kind hosts I have been across in my 9 years of being with Airbnb. He picked us up from the station since we had large bags and a baby stroller. We had a good time at his cafe where he hosted breakfast for, he also had fruits ready for us when we arrived. The location is also simply perfect in terms of connectivity to public transport, restaurants and supermarkets. We hope we can stay here whenever we visit Japan again.

We had a great time at this apartment! This was the perfect place to stay in Kyoto. there is a ton to do in the immediate area around the neighborhood and May was an amazing host!

ที่พักหาง่าย ใกล้รถบัสมากๆเสียดายแค่ยังห่างสถานีรถไฟพอสมควร แต่แถวที่พักร้านอาหารเยอะและเปิดดึกด้วย มีทั้ง Macdonald และ ข้าวหน้าเนื้อที่เปิด 24ชม. Starbucks ที่เปิดดึก ไม่ว่าจะกลับมาดึกแค่ไหนก็ไม่ต้องห่วงเรื่องของกินเลย(แต่ระวังรถบัสหมด)

Le logement était très propre et bien décoré. C'est le seul appartement du 5eme étage, c'est donc très calme. Depuis la fenêtre il est possible de voir le Kiyomizu Dera. L'emplacement est très bien. Il est possible d'aller à gion et Nishiki market à pied. Plein de bon restaurant à proximité et des boulangeries, il y a aussi un fresco ouvert 24/24 en plus du 7-eleven au coin de la rue. C'était très pratique de pouvoir stationner notre Toyota sienta devant l'immeuble.
