I had a wonderful stay at Gary & Shawna’s place! It was very neat, peaceful, and quiet — perfect for relaxing. It was easy to find, and the drive there was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by scenic farms and open countryside. The hosts were very welcoming and kind, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a serene and well-kept place in a charming rural setting. Thank you Shawna and Gary🙏❤️

The River House was the perfect getaway for a month. The location is removed enough to feel peaceful and serene, yet a quick drive into town for groceries didn’t feel daunting. Some highlights: - The sunroom is a huge perk and we loved reading in there - Hosts provided lots of fun ways to enjoy the property and water - kayaks, floaties, outdoor seating, fire pit, etc - Joan is the nicest, friendliest point of contact. Couldn’t have asked for a better host - The entire house is super well stocked, including anything & everything you could need in the kitchen, tons of extra towels, and snuggly blankets to use on the couch

Such a cozy and comfortable getaway! It’s a camp, but even so, had everything in the kitchen for me to cook real meals, a record player and some Joni Mitchell, a tv for movies after hikes with the dogs. Very comfortable bed! It was nice to have a private bathroom even if it was a few steps away. And Terrie-Ann and Thomas are warm and respectful, and very responsive to the only glitch which was with the WiFi. They also checked in periodically to make sure all was well. Lots of hikes nearby and we enjoyed them even in rainy or cold weather. Would return for sure.

Tanya’s place was incredible! The small details she included throughout the space were helpful and very thoughtful. She really made the space homey from the big things such as great local recommendations all the way down to the small details like cold water in the fridge. The space was quiet and private, and the drive into Asheville was easy and short with plenty to do. You really get the best of both worlds staying here. Highly recommend!!
