Pet-friendly holiday rentals in North Chicago

We had a great time celebrating our daughters graduation from college! It was nice to have a space large enough for our entire family together, to relax and enjoy the outdoor outdoors! George was a very responsive host and we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit a couple of nights just sitting around and enjoying our time together!

Waylon is a great host. He answered all of our questions and gave us several local recommendations.

This house is simply wonderful. It has the best beachy cottage summer vibes! The location is also great very private for being somewhat close to the city, and very close to Six Flags. We especially loved mornings on the deck and taking the kayaks out on the lake. Can't wait to stay again!

wow this place was amazing smelt so good as soon as we walked in it looked just as described the rooms were amazing lots of space and the beds were extremely comfortable wish i could’ve stayed! you get exactly what you pay for and the host was super friendly i recommend 100%!!

Tom's place was really nice and exactly as described. The backyard was perfect for our pup and the neighborhood was really nice to take him on the walk. We would defintely stay there again if we are in the area.

Nice place tucked into a quiet, safe neighborhood. Backyard was outstanding. (We wish the weather had cooperated so we could have spent more time outside) One level home with comfy beds and furniture throughout. Kitchen was spacious and clean. Plenty of extra towels and blankets.

The host was above and beyond. The place was as described. Large space and well accommodating. Sabrina went above and beyond to make sure we all enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend

Used for 4 nights for 7 family members family get-together (need to plan and book on ad-hoc basis). Each and Every member insisted me to provide 5 overall rating. My Daughters of age 13 and 10 also mentioned that they are going to highly recommend to friends once school re-open after ongoing summer vacation. We stayed on the third floor of the complex and enjoyed Matthew's attention to detail. He gave a lot of thought to all components of his property.

Fantastic stay in Chicago! The location was perfect and easy to find, with a spectacular view of Lake Michigan and the Sears Tower. It’s an amazing starting point for sightseeing on foot with the family. Check-in and check-out were super easy, and the host was very responsive with great tips for the area. We would absolutely come back anytime!

⸻ Absolutely stunning stay! The penthouse was even more beautiful in person — spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed with incredible views of the city. Every detail was considered, from the comfortable beds to the high-end finishes and fully stocked kitchen. Check-in was seamless, and the host was communicative and helpful the entire time. The house was a perfect fit for my family of 8. The amenities were great and Nicolet provided excellent communication.

My friend and I booked with Patrick because it was an easy place to find in between where we live. It was also important that it was pet friendly because I had my 2 dachshunds and she had her German shepherd mix with a toddler. Kiddo enjoyed the pool, and the doggos loved the yard. We all felt at home!

Poolside High Life was definitely worth its value our group enjoyed our time there so much, we will definitely recommend to other large group that want a nice weekend getaway for whatever occasion. Both hosts were super nice and welcoming! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay - the three bedroom rental itself was amazing, and the on-site facilities (pool, sauna, game room, family room for little kids, etc.) were beyond awesome. The location is convenient as well - plenty of restaurants within waking distance, a cute coffee shop/wine bar downstairs that makes a killer caprese sandwich, and super close to public transportation as well. One of the members of our party arrived early and the friendly folks at the front desk were able to check her in early, which was an extra bonus. We’d definitely stay here again!

My husband and I really enjoyed our week stay at Rock Lake. The big deck with a screened in lounge was perfect for Summer evenings. We used the lake toys and enjoyed bon fires. We will definitely come back!

We were in town for our sons’ Navy Boot Camp Graduation and our other Airbnb did not work out. Kevin was a lifesaver! He even let us check in early, which really helped us out. The place was clean, spacious, lots of hang out space with cozy couches and comfortable beds. It had everything we needed and Kevin was very responsive and friendly! It was only 15 minutes from the Navy Base, so great location for us. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you Kevin!

This apartment was the cutest, coziest place! It looked just like the pictures and was extremely clean and comfortable. The way this home was remodeled is like a modern farmhouse and very tastefully decorated. The size was just right for my husband and me, and the location was perfect for everything we needed to do on this trip. Suzanne and Andy were great hosts who thought of just about everything you would need. They were extremely responsive and provided great instructions for check-in and check out; literally everything was exactly as the instructions stated. They also didn't overburden us with a laundry list of rules. If we ever have a need to stay in that area in the future, we would definitely check Kidahl House first. We were in town for Navy Graduation and the place was perfect! Beautiful house, very clean, great location and plenty of room. Close to the base, close to shopping in Gurnee Mills, several grocery stores close by and even a backyard to enjoy. Highly recommended!

Scott street was just what we were looking for when visiting family in town. It was close to all of our friends and family close to local restaurants and walkable to a lot of things. The house was spacious and very clean and Regan was super responsive with any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

Very peaceful and relaxing time, with lots of wildlife!! We definitely understand why it is called the Turkey House - lots of turkeys, but also LOTS of deer!
