Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in North Kona

It was an amazing facility, just looked exactly liked described. Todd was proactive in sending info required for check-in. Well maintained community and very good activities in vicinity. We did manta-ray night snorkel and lua’u at outrigger resort. Both were just a quick walk away.

We had an amazing stay at Allyson’s condo on the Big Island! The apartment was spotless, beautifully organized, and so thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed – it truly felt like a home away from home for the week. From the kitchen supplies to the beach gear, every detail was carefully considered and made our holiday so much more comfortable and relaxing. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and we loved having such a peaceful, welcoming space to return to at the end of each day. Allyson was a fantastic host - so kind, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Big Island - thank you for making our trip so special! The best Airbnb we have ever stayed at.

This was such a great place! Felt so homey and comfortable after spending all day outside exploring. Very spacious and clean and everything you need from laundry detergent to beach supplies are provided!

This place was amazing, your about 10 min from the coast and there are some good shops close by for a long stay. AC is only in the living room but other than that everything was perfect! would stay again for sure!

Thoroughly enjoy our stay at this well equiped, freshly renovated condo. Amazing views of the ocean and next to the pool. Central to all the cool attractions the Big Island has to offer.

We knew this resort from before so we purposely tried to find a condo at this location. The property location is fantastic, situated in a gated community, very peaceful and safe, beautiful surroundings, 15 minutes walk to the beach, or if a quick drive with provided gate fob. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you would want during your stay, the grill in the patio works great and is the best way to prepare a few dinners. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable and everything works well. The patio is great, we used it when ever we were at home, it is very crazy with a very nice view of palms and beautiful vegetation and many birds and mongooses that run around. The garage is as described, tight fit for a large vehicle but we managed to get our mini van inside. They have a great selection of snorkel gear, we brought our own but knowing this next we would not. A beautiful space that we very much enjoyed and would definitely come back on our next visit. The host great!

10/10 would recommend. There was a great view of the ocean, lush beautiful plants all around the property. The condo was super clean and close to everything we needed to get to in Kona. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the resort was very enjoyable, with all the amenities we could ask for: a pool, a small gym, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and a poolside bar. The only issue we encountered was understanding the charge for the AC unit, which required a key. When we asked the host about it, we received automated replies that were not very helpful. For reference, the resort charged us $13 per day for the AC. I hope this information helps others. Additionally, be aware that the resort tries to get guests to attend a timeshare presentation, which was not mentioned in the property description. Be prepared for that sales pitch. Other than these negatives, the place was great, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay in Kona at Michael’s place. It’s well located, clean, amenities and very comfortable. We would definitely book again and recommend to other hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Patricia’s beautiful condo. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the amazing lanai with comfortable chairs, a beautiful view & a great grill. The place was stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, tennis rackets, balls, towels & a cooler. The place was super clean which I really appreciate & had comfortable beds. The Ocean Club has a pool, amazing sunset views, drinks and a restaurant. We used the condo as home base to enjoy the sights around the island. Patrica was a great host and answered questions quickly and gave suggestions. Thanks for a great stay! Mahalo Patricia!

We absolutely loved staying here! Martin & Rachelle’s place is even nicer than the photos. Martin was very responsive and provided great recommendations. He was extremely flexible and willing to work with us on check-in time. They had all you could ever need from a massive book collection and movie collection to puzzles and board games. We played multiple scrabble games outside on the Lani. You cannot beat the location. One of our favorite Air BnBs and hosts ever. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great! We had booked a different place to stay at during our vacation and ended up canceling it because the place was dirty and did not match what was advertised. We found Grant’s place and saw that it was available during our entire trip. We contacted Grant sharing our situation and asked if we could check-in with short notice (the same day). He had no problem with it and was very quick with all of his responses. The place was clean and in a great location. We will definitely stay there again.

Allyson was proactive and incredibly responsive. There is helpful information that we used during our entire stay, including insider tips we were so grateful to have. The beautifully decorated condo has an ideal location on the property. It is at the back end of the Villa's, so it feels very private and the lanais face west providing unobstructed and amazing sunsets. It is also an easy walk to the pool and hot tub, which we used a lot (especially coming back from the beach before showers), because it was so convenient. And the private Beach Club you have access to is the BEST! We loved the snorkeling, with calm water (perfect for all levels). Plus, a great restaurant provides food and drinks to take to the beach, and the food was superb for dinner (better than other pricier restaurants nearby). There are four bikes which means you can get to the Beach Club without a car, or use the coolers, chairs and umbrellas from the condo to go anywhere. A true five star find!

We loved our stay at Joy's place! It was clean and spacious with a beautiful view toward the ocean. The facilities were lovely and the pools were quiet - the perfect spot to watch the stunning Kona sunsets. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops in Kona and enjoyed the beaches nearby. Joy was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the booking and check-in process. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for paradise in Kona.

Our entire party of 7 enjoyed the place thoroughly. Our 9 ye old son was the one who enjoyed it the most as he had the whole entertainment living room to himself self and even used it as his bedroom. Although no AC except in two on the rooms we did not need to turn it on due to the breeze that came through the windows. It was so fresh day in and out for me. Rooms are equipped with fans through the other rooms and that’s all we needed. The place had everything we needed to cook a few breakfast meals and dinner. The views amazing and in love with the plants all around the house. So glad we could get our laundry out of the way before come back home as well. Would definitely recommend staying here. Felt right at home.

We loved our stay in Kristina’s house!!!! Such a beautiful place, new furniture, so clean and stocked with everything we could need. The golf club and rest of the amenities were gorgeous! Finally, Kristina is a great host, always responsive and helpful. Would recommend 110% staying here

What an amazing stay we had at the Coconut Telegraph! We loved the location, which was about a 30 minute drive from the airport, and therefore, away from the busy town of Kona. The condo itself is gorgeous! We loved having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, plus another extra bath and laundry room! The hosts stocked it well with shampoo, etc, spices, bags and wraps and tons of cookware! We loved having the resort privileges which made for some amazing beach/pool days that were super close by! The outdoor lanais and grill were fun and relaxing! The pool within the Villages, our own community was easily walkable and we enjoyed the amenities. Having Foodland next door was very convenient when we needed groceries. The restaurants in that shopping center were very good also! Our hosts provided an amazing handbook well ahead of time that helped us become familiar with the area. They communicated well and instantly whenever we had a question! We loved our stay and highly recommend it!

Great place for a family with 3 year old twins. Gate for the stairs. All sorts of beach toys. There is a pack and play for sleep. Pool was a close walk and beach a close drive or you can take the golf cart! Plenty of other beach gear, snorkels, and 2 paddle boards! Kitchen was really well appointed too. I would definitely stay here again....Only issue was confusing/funky lights and fans that came on randomly and remotes that didn't work so great.

Great location next Queens Marketplace for groceries, shopping and dining. Great unit with all the amenities. Pool is lovely.
