Holiday home rentals in Northern Europe

This is one of our favorite stops on our honeymoon through Sicily. Dorotea's place was even more beautiful than the pictures!! The view from the terrace was stunning!! Dorotea allowed us to check in early, and met us there to show us around the place and the property. She was so friendly and gave us a lot of advice for the area for places to eat and things to do. This was a great location to walk to Isola Bella and Mazzarro beach, as well up as to the town. Dorotea was also very helpful and responsive to our messages before we arrived. We hope to return soon, and would love to stay at Dortoea's place for a longer stay next time!

Clean place the owner was wonderful

Just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable 8-night stay here, and I can’t imagine a more perfect home in which to experience the beauty of Bologna. The loggia overlooking a serene courtyard feels like a movie set, with lovely music from the local conservatory wafting through the air against the backdrop of medieval towers that have stood for centuries. It’s truly a one-of-kind setting. Some aspects that I especially valued that may not have been mentioned in other reviews: The kitchen is a joy - bright, airy with windows on two sides, and very thoughtfully equipped - which is not always the case in rentals. There is an entire shelf full of travel guides, maps, info on local attractions and regional destinations, even an Italian phrasebook. Way beyond anything I’d expect and so very helpful- which perfectly describes Gabriele as a host. He was fantastic; excellent communication, flexible with arrival, incredibly welcoming, and just a kindhearted person. Thank you so much, Gabriele!

Highly recommend! The view is incredible and the space is very clean. Concetta made us breakfast each morning and her cat visited as well! There are around 260 steps up from the road so be prepared, but it’s well worth it to stay there. It’s nice to be separate from the busier area. She was extremely communicative and a friendly host. She was very helpful with navigating the town and recommendations.

A Memorable Stay on Isola Bella Spending the day on Isola Bella was a truly memorable experience. The setting is steeped in history and natural beauty, and staying on the island felt like a quiet adventure in itself. From the serene views of Lake Maggiore to the timeless charm of the surroundings, everything contributed to a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. An ideal retreat for anyone seeking a unique and enriching escape.

This is the most special villa and there is not a better location. Close to the pier, beaches and amazing restaurants. We truly enjoyed the balcony each night after a long day of sightseeing. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful place!

This is the perfect place to stay in Florence! The location can’t be beat! Only a block from the Duomo, yet felt private and quiet. The bed was bigger than expected and very comfortable. The hosts were great and checking in/out was so easy! I would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay with Rune and Merete. The accommodation offers a stunning view of the river. The room is cozy and romantic, perfect for a peaceful getaway. It's possible to take a swim in the river and then warm up in the sauna. We were especially impressed by our hosts' kindness and responsiveness.

Perfect location! The apartment is on a quiet street near many walkable coffee shops and dining. Also, it’s a nice walk to other popular locations like the Royal Mile and Dean’s Village. The hosts were great - very helpful and responsive. The apartment is very nice. The apartment looks like the pictures, has an adorable outdoor space, and includes all the amenities listed. My husband, friends, and I would stay here again during our next visit!

You really couldn’t ask for more….its the perfect base to explore Malta. The apartment is gorgeous, with panoramic views of the country side to be enjoyed from the private pool and bbq. The town itself is a beautiful sleepy little village, and the main square has numerous bars and restaurants all serving local and regular cuisine of a very high standard. Nothing on the island is more than a 45 min drive away and the roads are fairly easy to navigate. We were both so taken with both the apartment and Malta I don’t think it will be long before we return. Thanks Rachel and Jason

Our stay at Katia’s Airbnb was truly exceptional, the best we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived we felt warmly welcomed. A beautiful cake, a fully stocked fridge/pantry, and fresh tomatoes/herbs made settling in easy and comfortable. Katia and her family continued to amaze us with their hospitality: a homemade lemon dessert, limoncello, fresh focaccia, and wine. The house was spotless, spacious, and full of charm, with everything we could need. We loved the two outdoor dining areas, terrace with a stunning view, and hot tub which was perfect for Amalfi evenings. Katia was kind, responsive, and full of great recommendations. The location was ideal: close to shops/transport yet also peaceful and tucked away from the hustle and bustle typical of Amalfi coast towns. When my sister fell ill, Katia went above and beyond, arranging help and support. Her care meant the world. This wasn’t just a holiday, it was a heartwarming experience. We can't wait to hopefully return one day!

The host was very helpful he also came to receive us at the train station and also gave us a ride back. The house had the most beautiful views and felt like home. Loved are stay here. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful place for a few days of peace- and quiet apart from the sound of beautiful birds and the river. The views were spectacular and the river at the bottom of the field was incredible. Some lovely walks on thedoorstep. Felt so welcoming as we walked in with delicious scones; jam and Devonshire clotted cream along with lovely fresh flowers on the side; beautiful touches. Could not fault it; soft fluffy towels; extremely comfy bed and lovely soft furnishings. Very cosy indeed. The weather wasn’t brilliant so spoilt our break slightly but did manage to have a few drinks in the evening on the patio along with coffee in the morning listening ti the bird song. Did the circular walk a couple of times into Dulverton and ate at the local pub; stunning walk through the forest and along the river. Tarr Steps is also worth visiting- the river agin is spectacular and so nice that our Lab could paddle safely in the shallow water. Had a wonderful break and would definitely come back.

The tin bath is a beautifully presented properly. It has everything you could need with beautiful quality furnishing, very comfortable and clean & the bath is absolutely amazing. We would 100% recommend this property . We stayed there with our dog during the recent heat wave so we came home for the afternoon to relax in the property which also had a lovely small furnished outside private courtyard. The only thing we felt was missing was a small freezer compartment in the lovely retro fridge, so that we could make some ice for our drinks during the hot afternoon and evenings.

This apartment was perfect in EVERY way. Styled in a beautiful calm relaxed way. Everything we needed. Location was perfect. Communication awesome. Highly recommend and will definitely stay next time we are in Bergamo.

Beautifully decorated, traditional British beachside accommodation. A literal stone’s throw from the beach. Clare is a friendly, kind and helpful host. You couldn’t ask for anything more if visiting this part of the world. 5*

Massimo is an excellent and responsive host. He is very friendly and goes above and beyond for guests. His apartment is immaculate, well-decorated, spacious, and in an incredible location. We have had many wonderful AirBnB stays, but Massimo and this apartment stand out as one of the best hosts and one of the best places we have stayed in. I highly recommend this place!

A Truly Exceptional Host and Stay! We can’t say enough good things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, Leah went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Her home is beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. She greeted us personally, offered fantastic local recommendations, and took the time to patiently answer all of our questions. Even after we checked out, she generously helped us get to the train station, which is something we will always remember. What truly sets her apart is her kindness and hospitality. By the time we left, it felt like we were saying goodbye to an old friend. She’s the kind of host you want to stay in touch with, and we feel incredibly lucky to have met her. Highly, highly recommended! We hope to return and stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at the beach house! The house was super equipped, very clean and left nothing to be desired. The absolute highlight was of course the fantastic view – located directly on the beach, with a fantastic view of the sea. Communication with Ole was straightforward, quick and very friendly from the start. You felt right at home. We would come back any time and can absolutely recommend the house – perfect for a relaxing break by the sea!

Martinus and Nicoletta are very available and respond quickly. The accommodation is ideal for getting away from the urban wildlife. Don't be intimidated by the winding climb. A few round trips will be enough to demystify it. The presence of goats, cats, chickens, rabbits and dogs makes the stay memorable with their welcome. The panorama is breathtaking and makes you dream. Finally, the inhabitants of the valley were welcoming to tourists who knew only 3 words of Italian. We received many smiles and everyone made an effort to find at least one common language.

Dario's accommodation was the perfect place to begin our trip in Rome! Adorable, clean and local to desirable sites in the city- we would highly recommend his unit! Grazie
