Great place to stay! Felt right at home with great views. Had no issues, the host is responsive and helpful. Private and peaceful overall a great place!

This was a cozy cabin completely outfitted with everything you need. Best part of the stay? Sipping wine on the back deck watching sunset over the mountains. Next best? Tea in the early mornings watching the deer walk through the property. It’s very peaceful. GREAT place to recharge and relax.

Such a perfect and private place to celebrate my 30th birthday with my loved ones. The home has a great layout for a girls trip and so many sweet spots to hang out on the porch. The location is also amazing for nature adventures!

Freedom Finder is a beautiful cabin in the woods with an amazing porch and in close location to Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi state park and Helen. It’s spotless, and full of all the little extras you need for a great vacation! Traveling with my family means cooking meals, and this cabin was well stocked with all the necessities.Lynette, is an amazing host. We were welcomed with a s’mores kit, and little touches that made us feel special. She was communicative and above all else Kind! We had a medical emergency our last night and needed to book an extra day, and Lynette was responsible to our emergent need even in the middle of the night! I can’t thank her enough! Literally if you are interested in staying in North Georgia the Freedom Finder is the cabin for you!

An unforgettable experience, everything was beautiful, waking up in the morning and seeing the deer around the cabin, the sunsets on the balcony, in short, our experience was magical, Amy was very attentive and explained everything in detail, no problems in the cabin, everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were very comfortable with everything ready, I definitely want to come back! Lovely home and surroundings. Plenty of room for two couples and private areas to get away from each other. Rained a lot, and we were able to sit and enjoy under two porches if wind changed. Rested & relaxed from roar of water below. Deer everywhere and spring was springing! Would go again.

A wonderful place to stay near Helen, GA! Within 15-20 mins of all the downtown area. Laura was very responsive to our messages. Check in and out was a breeze! The place was exactly as described. We enjoyed the peacefulness found in sitting on the back porch enjoying the hot tub and propane fire pit. We loved our stay and would definitely stay with Laura again whenever we are back in Helen!

We had an amazing family time! Beautiful house, comfortable beds, we loved! There is no body wash or shampoo, bring yours. 😊 close to town, very peaceful surroundings.

What a lovely lake cabin escape! Gilbert was communicative and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the kayaks, fire pit, and relaxing on the dock. The place has all the essentials and cute rustic charm. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

This was definitely an Off The Grid type place. It was beautiful while we were there. The road is a bit tricky like Greg did say but we had no issues with the Malibu. The only thing is the neighbors were not so friendly as we drove up to the cabin we would wave and they just stared. Maybe they weren’t friendly people. But this place felt very homey though and the property was beautiful. I loved that it was quiet and peaceful.

this is our second time staying at Edgewater. we love this place. it sits right on the river (fighting town creek) and the temp and sounds flow right into the master bedroom.. Terry is a super gracious host that will work with you in any situation... we have referred this cabin to many and we will be back!!!

Great place and location

Had a great week and a half at Rick's place. Felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Very clean and comfortable. The grounds are amazing! So peaceful and perfect for sitting out on the porch! Morning coffee out there was the best! And great for a quiet happy hour after a day of hiking. We went either hiking or 'exploring' every day. Hike down around the lake is a great place to get a good workout in. About 3 1/2 mikes aroind. Climbed the 665 steps up to the top of Amicolola Falls! Beautiful park and falls. Cooked most of our meals in, kitchen had everthing we needed. As one or two other guests mentioned, if you're there to watch TV or use the internet, reception is not good, but we only cared to watch some news in the morning before we left for most of the day. Came back, ate dinner, sat on the porch, read for awhile and hit the hay. Slept great! PS- Rick is a fast and great comminicator.

The gardens were incredible and the surrounding area was so beautiful I couldn't get over it. Mountains, creeks, horses, sheep, donkeys. Beautiful trees. Birds singing all the time. Ferns everywhere. Loved Richard and Raymond! Their taste is impeccable. They were kind and attentive. Would love to be their next door neighbor.

This cabin is fantastic and Joeseph and Lorena were great at communicating. I ended up proposing to my girlfriend at this cabin and they were accommodating to make everything perfect. There were so many thoughtful gestures like a personalized sign and have other cool things like deer feed and bird feed. The pictures of this cabin don’t do it justice! Views are amazing, clean, and all of the games you could ever want to play. The only thing I would note before you book is make sure you put the correct amount of people staying. Even though the cabin sleeps 8, I only reserved with 2 because I didn’t know how many were staying. There is a fee for anyone over your reserved amount. I ended up having 3 others stay for a total of 5 and still had to pay extra for them. Something to note. Everything was amazing and would recommend to anyone to stay here!

We come to Murphy all the time to visit family. We will definitely book again here if it’s available!

Place was great and peaceful

Amazing view, comfy beds, great location!! Secluded feel but the grocery store and much more is a short drive away. Honestly I could’ve sat on the back porch and looked at the mountains and river all day. The pool was a nice spot, well done little area. My daughter enjoyed the little playground. Happy we booked this place!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

The Hangout is amazing! Lots to do if you stay there AND lots to do in the surrounding areas. We had a wonderful stay and I would highly recommend to anyone. We booked another weekend while we were still there! The pool is wonderful and the bunk house and main house were comfortable with all of the amenities you need. The bunk house transported us back to summer camp in all of the best ways. Only book if you’re prepared to have a great time in a beautiful area!

After local weather ruined our Spring Break plans, we made a last minute pivot to this cabin and couldn't have been happier with the decision. The location was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The majority of our time was spent next to the river or on the porch soaking in the view. The layout was great for our two families giving everyone plenty of room. The cabin was well furnished and had everything needed to cook several meals. Overall I would absolutely recommend.
