Barn holiday rentals in Ohio River

It’s a place to stay to travel back in time a bit. I loved the original structure of the farm house. The surroundings were rural and peaceful. We didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast, we had a tight schedule, but I did get a sneak peek of the setup, which looked well organized and reminded me of a smaller version of “farm to table” experience.

I didn't want to leave! I was so at peace there! Esther and Tammy were so amazing and the dogs and cats were so friendly too. Esther went above and beyond with her homemade Italian food. I'm a very picky eater but I ate Everthing she made, and wanted more! my favorite part (besides the amazing food) was the private salt water hot tub while looking at the stars and listening to the crickets. We can't wait to go back soon!

I wish I could give more than a 5 star review! if ever a place earned a 1,000 stars, this is it! It's the perfect balance of luxury and comfort. The decor is charming. the hosts were fabulous and attentive. The kitchen has every appliance and utensil you could desire. The view is great and there is so much to do on the grounds. We enjoyed pickleball a walking around the lake. We spent a lovely evening around a campfire made from the amply stocked wood pile. No attention to detail was spared and everything was impeccably clean. I have stayed at Air Bnbs all over the country and this one tops them all! I know this is a place I will be returning to over and over again.

We enjoyed our stay at this quaint little home on a family farm. The host was very responsive and kind. The setting was peaceful. We enjoyed a nice bonfire and some beautiful walks on the quiet country road. Our host gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants in the local area.

The place was beautiful and serene. We got to spend some time petting the barn cats and dog and really enjoyed the cows. We were even lucky enough to be there the day a new calf was born and got to see him only a few hours after he entered the world. You’re on a dairy farm so yes there is an odor, but we didn’t notice it in the apartment at all, only outside. But you probably want to keep the doors/windows closed. A little bit of noise at night (I think it was the automatic milking robots? Which were very cool to watch!) but again you’re on a functioning farm, so you should expect some noises. Kenny was super nice and eager to share his passion of farming and details about the place. They aren’t kidding when they say cell service is bad. We had spotty at best (T-Mobile) and the internet was a bit hit or miss sometimes too, so if you want to stream some shows you might want to download them ahead of time. But we were there for the experience, not TV. Would highly recommend staying here!

Wendy’s place is top notch and one of our favorites. Extremely peaceful and private. Beautiful property including a lovely creek running right next to the barn. We enjoyed hearing the water and birds as we woke each morning. The kitchen was great and has everything you need to prepare meals at home. The coffee each morning was nice. Very clean and felt right at home. We’ll be back.

ENJOYABLE IF YOU LOVE BEING IN THE COUNTRY. LOTS OF DEER AROUND AND NICE BLACK CAT THAT LETS ITSELF IN 😂. DECENT SURROUNDINGS AND NOT TO FAR FROM THE HIGHWAY. LOVED THE RUSTIC FEEL OF THE HOME.

Over the course of just a few days, the silo is now easily one of my favorite vacation locations! The space is entirely unique - crafted from an existing silo into a livable space; tranquil, peaceful - every relaxing synonym you can think of encapsulates this space. Karen is an extremely accommodating and friendly host - she goes above and beyond to ensure you have a perfect stay. An added bonus if there are other guests staying in her other accommodations. I loved all of the interactions! The stay at the silo was simply the perfect weekend that I will forever cherish.

Hands down my favorite experience at an Air B&B. Everything was perfect. We loved the place - very clean, open, inviting and the beds were oh so comfortable! It was very easy to relax and also fairly close proximity to many great hikes -National Parks and local parks, kayaking, and shopping. I loved waking up to viewing 3 mother turkeys and their chicks in the mornings and the fireflies were out of this world in the evenings. We were able to cook with ease every day in the beautiful kitchen. I would highly recommend this beautiful “barn” house. Shelby has created a piece of Heaven on Earth on this beautiful property.

We had a lovely stay at Wyatt's Barn! You can tell Wyatt put a lot of effort into creating a functional and very inviting space. The room and the bathroom felt much bigger than the pictures! The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were impeccable and soft. Plush and pretty towels. We loved everything about our stay and the peace that came with it. Waking up to the beautiful, lush forest was just what we needed after the days of the hustle and bustle of our daughter's graduation!

The Outside Inn is a fantastic place to stay. If you have activitiesin the city of Columbus, Ohio or surrounding areas this is the place to come back to. Peaceful, relaxing and quiet environment.

This is a place to get back to nature! This is a private 150-acre property called Cairn Creek. We were, as promised, exposed to daily barn chores, and certainly got to meet, greet, and regularly visit with the animals: there are horses, goats, a donkey, kittens, dogs, puppies, birds and more that are literally right out the front door. We took in downtown Chillicothe and did lots of exploring on the local trails. We were minutes from Great Seal State Park which we explored. and Hocking Hills. The living quarters of the barn were private to us; however, the animals are right there which we absolutely loved. The Barn at Cairn Creek is super unique. And Kimberly and her family are the best part. We miss the family and the animals and plan to return. Loved it.

We had such an amazing time staying at the Barn Loft! Natasha was a wonderful host - kind, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. She provided clear directions to the property and even checked in later to make sure we arrived safely. The Loft itself is so cozy and charming, with every amenity you could possibly need. The location is so lovely, and surrounded by tons of great shops, hikes, and other fun things to do. My partner and I loved exploring all day, then coming back to this perfect little retreat to relax. We had a fantastic week and would love to return for future trips. Thank you, Natasha!

We had a wonderful time! The Silo was beautiful and clean. Down to the cute bow on the toilet paper😄 We loved being able to bring our dogs along for the journey. We'd definitely go back!

Awesome place. Beautiful scenery with an easy walk down to creek. Front porch is very nice with the rope lighting and seating for enjoying the view!!!! If you’re wanting a quiet place about 10mins from town with beautiful scenery and the only close neighbors are a few horses!!!

We could not have asked for a better place to welcome in my 40th birthday. The coziest getaway where every window overlooked beautiful pastures and wildflowers. The best part was all of the four legged friends to love on! If you are looking for a relaxing place in the country, this is it!

My stay at Andy’s Airbnb in Kentucky was nothing short of fantastic! The place itself is great, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind. The property is well-maintained, comfortable, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. What truly sets this Airbnb apart, though, are the hosts. Andy and the team were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and personable from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, making us feel right at home. Their warmth and hospitality made the experience even more memorable. Whether you’re visiting for the scenery or just a peaceful getaway, I can’t recommend Andy’s place enough. The combination of a wonderful location and exceptional hosts makes this a must-stay spot in Kentucky. Five stars!

This location was absolutely perfect for our daughter’s wedding! It was well stocked and had everything we needed as we prepped for her wedding. Amanda was great to work with and very accommodating! We highly recommend this cabin for anyone, but especially for those who may be attending an event at Barn at Bay Horse Inn!

Perfect location between a wedding at Kingwood Gardens and the after wedding party at Martinis on Main. It is perfectly tucked back off the main street in a quaint secluded area. Loved all the charm and amenities at this hidden gem. We plan to be back soon to do more fun things in Mansfield. Host Mac was perfect in every way!

Molly and Glenn's farm was so beautiful and peaceful. The apartment was very clean, cute and stocked with anything you need away from home. They were both so kind and Molly even took me out in the gator to tour the property. We loved sitting on the back swing and watching the humming birds. They also provided us a delicious breakfast. We only stayed for one night but we plan to come back for sure!

This is our 3rd time staying every time we stay it keeps getting better and better every time!! We love how close it's to Berlin! I always say I want to try another place.. but when I look at other places close by, I always come right back to the barn!

Had an excellent overnight stay at this wonderful “barndominium”. Everything was as described and we felt very at home. The surroundings were so peaceful and serene and the views were nothing short of spectacular. My wife and our two kids enjoyed visiting with the horses as well! We’d definitely stay here again!
