Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. It is one bedroom apartment in the basement of our home, with no cleaning fee because we want you to treat it as you would your home. There is a separate entrance and access to 26 acres of hills and trees. We have two horses on the property and feed from anywhere 3 to 15 deer each evening. We are 4.2 miles from I-24 and 7 miles from Kentucky lake, Patti's, Turtle Bay and the marina. Full kitchen available and beautiful sunsets. It is beautiful, words cannot do it justice.

The kitchen features quartz counters, a large farmhouse sink, really nice appliances and thoughtful touches everywhere. The wifi is excellent. Have issues with stairs? This is not a good choice for you. If you're up for stairs and want a unique slice of history in a hip package then you will not be disappointed.

Magical in all seasons! Soothe your soul with an unforgettable escape, surrounded by nature and suspended twenty feet above a babbling brook! Listen to the rushing water and the bamboo whispering in the breeze, take in a sunset, or wade in the creek below. We hope you’ll enjoy this unique covered bridge conversion, expanding from bank to bank with a 50-foot front deck. Breakfast provided the first day includes fresh fruit, a half dozen eggs, and muffins, coffee and tea.
