Very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed to relax and reset!

Great stay. Good communication. Everything as expected. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Louisville. Blackout blinds wife’s favorite as kept things dark great sleep. Within 15 minutes of about everything we wanted to get to. Overall just an exceptional stay.

Brent and Colton were very helpful. They answered any questions I had and took care of all my needs.

Donna’s place was very comfortable and picturesque. I had a very relaxing stay and real close to Va Tech. She was very responsive and provided directions to her place that were spot on. I had no problems finding her place even later in the evening.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage! Zella and Stephen were the sweetest hosts, and extremely accommodating. They made sure to check in on us and were immensely helpful if we had any questions! We had the pleasure of trying some strawberries, eggs, and jam that Zella and Stephen provided from their farm and hens. They were all delicious! If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay, this farm is perfect. We loved it, and if we are ever in the area again, we would love to stay. Amazing hosts and experience!

Great communication, response time, and beautiful treehouse!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time away out at the cabin. The tubing was AMAZING! and the nature is just gorgeous. What a lovely opportunity to slow down. The house was equipped with everything we needed. Loved the bath tub and the rocking chairs. We made a fire outside each night and took lots of walks. Very tranquil

We LOVE staying at Nancy’s place. She and her husband David are extremely kind. The house is spacious and the farm setting is idyllic. My children adore being here and we will continue coming every year for as long as Nancy hosts. I’ve also stayed with friends for short girls’ trips. Shopping, food, and fun in Columbus are within 30-45 minutes, depending on which part of town you want to explore. Downtown Plain City, with Der Dutchman, The Grainery, a few shops, and the Plain City Aquatic Center are within 10 minutes from the farm. If you’re not sure, book the trip here. I’m confident you will be happy you did.

Just the whole experience there felt Heavenly. It was such a relaxing and fun experience. I saw the pictures when we booked but it was just beyond words when we arrived.The inside of the house was so beautiful!! Everything was just perfect and clean. The kids just loved the play kitchen and toys upstairs. So much for the kids to enjoy inside and outside. We had a great time down stairs in the theater room at night. The pool was wonderful and couldn’t get enough of it. Outside the front and back yards were so big ,beautiful and peaceful with all the landscape and shade trees we could just sit outside on the deck all day and enjoy the scenery. There was so much to enjoy but wish we could have had more time . It was definitely hard to leave!! Thank you Katie for responding back so quickly with the questions we had and making our vacation at Brown Bear log cabin one of the NICEST places for making fun family memories! This is our second trip here and for good reason. There’s something special about this simple cozy cottage. It’s so clean has a modern rustic touch, and is peaceful to boot. The animals out back provide the perfect ambiance to this quiet tucked away cottage. Wed give this place 10 stars if we could - such a special place. Hope to come back again.

Such a wonderful stay! Honestly the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. My daughter loved the farm animals. They were the friendliest animals we’ve ever encountered. Deers filled the backyard. Chickens always greeted us. Such a scenic sight. Host was very responsive. Gifted us with farm fresh eggs and honey from the farm. We didn’t have the opportunity to take him on his offer of a tour which we are sad about. Just means we have to come back soon!

So much love and thought was put into this place! There was not a single thing that was missed, from the home being clean and inviting, having a view, animals, to even having homemade products. You can tell this is more than “easy money” for Barbara. We will absolutely be back!

David’s place was absolutely breathtaking. My daughter got engaged by the pond, so this cabin will forever be a cherished memory. We would definitely return for another stay in the future.

The most relaxing, beautiful area and cabin. It’s decorated with antiques that you can purchase. This place has everything you need! Communication was fast. We were able to check in early and had farm eggs and muffins in the fridge to welcome us! It was soothing to the soul to be able to open the windows in the morning to let in fresh air, watch the beautiful sunrise and sunset, take walks, give treats to the farm cats who were so sweet, watch the cattle and listen to them softly moo once in a while. Our stay was just heavenly. We didn’t want to leave! We also loved meeting the owners when we contacted them about a question we had. Wonderful people!

Everything about our stay was perfect. The home was beautiful and peaceful. Anything you might need was provided and more. Beds were so inviting and the wrap around porch and friendly neighboring dogs made it a magical wooded getaway. Cannot wait to return. If I could give more than 5 stars I certainly would.

Our first stay at the Bunkhouse was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt an immediate sense of warmth and hospitality. Drew and Emily went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even leaving farm-fresh eggs in the fridge — a thoughtful touch that set the tone for our stay. The house was clean, tidy, and charmingly simple, offering all the basic comforts we needed. While it may not have every modern amenity, its rustic charm and rich family history gave it a unique and inviting character that we genuinely appreciated. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the guided trail ride on two of their gentle Tennessee Walking horses. Riding through the breathtaking Kentucky countryside was both peaceful and awe-inspiring — an experience that horse lovers will especially treasure. If you’re looking for a relaxing rural escape and a chance to connect with nature and horses, the Bunkhouse is a wonderful choice. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Jason and his team’s Airbnb was a wonderful place to retreat! This clean modern Scandinavian vibe sets a refreshing and restful ambience for unwinding. We enjoyed the quietness of the farm fields, watching cows graze, the fresh breezes blowing, the views of rolling hills and Blue Ridge mountains (clear day) and vineyards in a distance were all enjoyable to see right from the tranquil setting A-Frame. Jason provides you with all you need for quiet and/or entertaining experience: a fire pit and stocked wood pile for a good campfire, clean hot Hot tub for relaxing, assortment of fun board games and corn hole, great books to read, 2 hammocks to swing beside your friend umder the tall trees.. The bed and furniture throughout the Airbnb was comfortable and all looks and feels brand new! Jason and his team were excellent making sure we had everything to make our stay a success! We felt well cared for in this A-frame perched on a hill and we enthusiastically give Jason and his team 💯 %!

Janeene was awesome. I went outside to work a bit and struck up a conversation with her. She was very present. I knew she would respond to anything I needed. The house was very well stocked with toiletries and even some snacks. I highly recommend this air bnb.

Quite possibly the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at. The cabin is so unique, attention to detail is off the charts and amenities galore. The welcome basket and roses were a beautiful surprise. We only stayed one night, passing thru on a road trip, but are already making plans to go back. Sherry was incredibly responsive and a delight. If I could give this experience 10 stars, I would. This is a must-stay.

This cabin was very nice and relaxing with a beautiful view. The interior is unique and charming, with all modern amenities. The host was friendly, responsive, and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time. It was a beautiful, cozy, comfortable, and peaceful environment. We loved fishing , sitting on the porch rocking, and having a fire in the fire pit. It was exactly as described. We will definitely return. Bunny and Gene are wonderful people to share a piece of their loveliness with others. ❤️❤️❤️

Had a blast. The zip line was a hit for the girls. They loved feeding horses. It was a great get away. We definitely will stay here again the next time we are in Lexington.

We were looking for peace and quiet, and we certainly found it! The location is beautiful, with plenty of parks nearby to explore and fun drives (if you even want to leave!). We felt right at home. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything you could possibly need. We loved the hot tub, fire pit and grill. The couch and fireplace were also very cozy. Amy and Will were so helpful and friendly. We purchased some meat from their farm for our stay- it was already in the fridge when we got there! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back.
