When you step out of your own front door, you are practically already on the Nordpfad/in the forest. The Hamburg-Bremen cycle path leads past the house and it is only 10 km by bike to Bremen through the Wümmeniederung nature reserve. Bicycles can be rented in the village and there is a lockable shed for storage. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower.
