Mr. Chris is the kindest and nicest host I’ve ever met. The property is lovely, clean, and perfect for families, with beautiful views and great amenities. There’s a game room where kids can have a lot of fun — we absolutely loved it. We truly enjoyed our stay. Due to bad weather, we requested a small extension, and Mr. Chris kindly accommodated us without hesitation. His hospitality made our experience even better.

From the moment we opened the gate, we knew we had found something special. The property was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, welcoming, and surrounded by stunning views. The home itself was spacious, spotless, and comfortably cool, making it the perfect retreat. Our host, Steve, was exceptional. He was incredibly responsive to every question we had and went above and beyond by offering great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do in the area. His hospitality truly made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, well-kept getaway with a host who genuinely cares about your experience.

We were looking for a place to get away to relax and spend time with family, and this place was it. The home was away from the city and in the middle of the woods, yet close enough to local attractions and conveniences of stores and antique shops. Evenings were quiet with nothing but stars and the wilderness. The house had all the amenities we could ask for and more. The host was very thoughtful and included items that one could easily forget (kitchen ware, pool towels, spices, coffee, trash bags). The rooms and layout of the house is great. Each room has a private bathroom and patio. The center of the house is so open. This place is definitely going to be the place to stay at for us. We made some happy memories that we will cherish forever. Eric was very responsive and very communicative with information that made the whole trip very enjoyable. Thank you' Eric.

We came for Memorial Day weekend, the Mona Lisa suite was amazing. The porch was perfect for sipping coffee and listening to nature. Right next to downtown too!

This was hands down one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had. The house was gorgeous, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches that made the whole weekend feel special. The pool was perfect for lounging and catching up, and the little treats waiting for us on arrival were such a sweet surprise. You can tell the host genuinely cares. Every detail felt intentional, from the cozy bedding to the well-stocked kitchen. It felt more like a boutique retreat than a rental. I’ve stayed in plenty of Airbnbs, but this one really raised the bar. If you’re thinking about booking, do it. You’ll be glad you did.

The house is an event space as much as anything so it is fairly sparse in decor, but we liked the serenity that offered. My grown kids loved the house! So much character. I’d love to know even more about the history of the home. I can’t recommend it enough for an out of the ordinary experience!
