Cottage holiday rentals in Oxnard

This is our 3rd time staying at Joseph & Kelly’s place! It is always a pleasure! They make you feel right at home and are willing to help with any need! We love this place and plan to return very soon!

We had a wonderful stay at Dana’s place! The cottage was decorated wonderfully, was extremely clean and had everything we needed for a terrific stay! Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at this very cute and cozy cottage. It was a very peaceful location and close by a beautiful Walking trail. It had all of the amenities, and we especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening.

Great location Great shower One note George was not sure about the check in code and he give me the wrong one I had to call The lance was in general clean but we found dust on the couch and the table and the pillows were also dusty The bikes are really old and two out of four need new tires The towels were only few and kind of old Everything else was great We had great time

Wir sind sehr dankbar dass wir die Zeit in der Hummingbird Retreat verbringen durften. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und unser Kinder wollten gar nicht weg, sie möchten Karen sehr gerne....die auch wirklich ein sehr netter Mensch ist. ich finde die Unterkunft in wirklich noch viel schöner und größer als auf den Bildern, Topangas Flair hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen... wir würden gerne irgendwann wieder an diesen Ort zurückkehren.

We had a very enjoyable night. It was very peaceful. The morning birdsong was incredible.

This was at least my third stay at Lisa’s place. I keep coming back for the value, the privacy and the beautiful surroundings. The place e is quirky, but we love that and we love Lisa and family as hosts. Good people who deserve our support.

Darrell’s place is in an unbeatable location — literally right on the beach! Out of all the options I looked at, this was by far the most affordable, and it exceeded expectations. It’s a private studio cottage (not a full house), located downstairs a massive balcony that directly overlooks the ocean. Super peaceful, with nothing but the sound of the waves right in front of you. Go to sleep so peaceful! The space was very clean and had everything we needed, including a smart TV with all the streaming apps — perfect for a relaxing night in. The unit is pet-friendly, which we appreciated! We also loved the neighborhood — it’s quiet, safe, and walkable, with a grocery store and restaurants just steps away. Darrell was a fantastic host and even left us wine and h20. Such a nice sweet surprise!! We will be back!

This was an amazing stay for my wife and I's honeymoon. Not only is it a 10 minute walk to the beach, but has quick and easy access to Santa Barbara and Ventura. Reina was kind, helpful, and was always available if we had any questions!

Gorgeous space. Perfect for me and my wife. So many hikes close by, great little restaurant in Cornell that was walkable. Could not have been more comfortable

This house is one of 3 remaining of 12 identical houses moved there in 1940 to be employee housing for the married workers on the Adohr Dairy Farm, at one time the world’s largest Guernsey herds and one of the largest dairies in the world at the time. The single workers lived in bunkhouses up nearer the office. The houses were moved here from a military base. This area was referred to as Adohr Village. When we lived here in 1964-65 the houses rented for $25 per month. There are limited amenities, we had no coffee and only salt & pepper, but it is balanced out by the unique rural location. Much easier to locate in daylight, and down a bumpy dirt road.

We loved our stay at George's place! The house is like a little oasis and feels very private. The decor was thoughtful and calming and curated like someone lived there, not your typical Airbnb furnishings. Beds and furniture were comfortable and kitchen was well-stocked and spacious. George is a great communicator and an ideal host. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was an absolutely beautiful stay! Highly recommend this space and this host. Just a wonderful trip from start to finish and we are so grateful to have stayed at SWELL! Side note that you may not see from the photos- the natural lighting inside was beautiful all throughout the day. Felt like we were in a movie with how beautiful and cute it was inside! Hummingbird Cottage is adorable. The bed was so comfortable and the sound of the fountain was soothing. The house is very small, so not suited to someone really tall. Our daughter stayed in the treehouse and loved it. The location was great for catching the boat to the Channel Islands.

This was a 10/10 stay. The cottage was absolutely magical and Ronald and Elle were very flexible, communicative and thoughtful. The cottage is bright, cozy and the perfect place to stay. Fresh flowers and lemons as well as water and some toast for breakfast. :) Definitely book your stay here if you are in the area! Would come back for sure.

This was our third trip to Darrell’s place in 2 1/2 years. We just can’t get enough! Each trip we add another night to our stay. We’re already checking our schedule for a trip back in October! This guest house is a tiny home, packed full of everything you need. We enjoyed cooking on the little two burner stove top, extra blankets for lounging around on the outdoor bed, mini fridge holds a lot, toaster oven, space heater for the chilly evenings, tv with cable and WiFi. Our favorite thing about this place is the feeling we get when we’re here. We’re instantly at peace. It’s calm and serene. We enjoyed working on crafts at the picnic table under the trees, listening to the deep wind chimes resonate throughout the property. Birds and other wild life are active and brought life to the experience as well as the flow of the many water falls. Darrell is really friendly, and generous. We’re so grateful that he offers this space to us to rent. Looking forward to our next visit!

Second time staying at this house, and just as great as the first time. Fabulous location, comfortable, and extremely well-stocked. Great for our two kids--6 and 9--too. A wonderful experience.

Such an adorable place! We loved it! Wish we had stayed an extra night. A very short walk to the beach. Super cute and friendly tavern around the corner. Limited food available within walking distance, but a well equipped kitchen. Though we don’t need them, there were lots of beach supplies! Nanette was very responsive in helping us recover a lost item! Would absolutely recommend this location!

If you want a clean, comfortable, peaceful place to stay, We highly recommend La Casita Azul!! You are in walking distance from the beach⛱️ . We were accomidated with bikes and boards for the beach if wanted to use, beach towels and blankets aswell. Clean area with friendly neighbors. La Casita Azul itself was so cozy and open, bedrooms were perfect sizes along with restrooms and showers. Kitchen has all the amenities needed. Restrooms aswell. I loved all of the decor and thought that was put into this airbnb. The quality was was worth every penny. We appreciate the stay and hope to comeback again soon💓🥰 If your looking for close places to get some coffee or food that's super close by we recommend trying Honey Cup Coffee house and creamery, there lattes and croissants are awesome! Also Hollywood beach Cafe, food is delicious and prices are great too!
