Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Payne Springs

My family and I had a great stay. Check in/check out was a breeze. Loved how clean it was. I loved how there was enough room for my family of 6. We loved the quiet atmosphere. We felt like we were home.

John was a great host! Extremely helpful and responsive. House was beautiful and loved the location. The water access was truly amazing. It rained 3 of our 7 days, so that was unfortunate, but we took our kids to Dallas to do some fun things which wasn’t too far of a drive! Only things to note that were annoying was the AC was controlled/set to specific ranges because of past guests altering it beyond acceptable ranges or breaking it. As I understand John’s concern, that was kind of annoying. We asked him to lower the setting and he did, so that helped, but even then…the AC would revert back to the previous setting and it would be too hot in some of the rooms. Some of the kitchen items like extra trash bags I could not locate and the soap that was provided was hand soap, not dish soap. I asked John if he had these items at the house so I could clean up and he ended up having them delivered to the house! Very response and helpful host! Beautiful location and we would stay again!

We had a great time at the home. Felt like we were at home. Great view from the back porch and dockside. Rained a couple days, but we still enjoyed ourselves at the house. I have family that lives on the lake, so they picked us up on their boat and had great time on the lake. Went night fishing with a fishing guide which was a blast. Had dinner at Figs one night, and then at The Tiki Hut. Both places were amazing. Did so much as a family, it was a great vacation. Thank you to Shinu for the great place that we called home for the week.

Excellent stay. Not just redone cheaply, but actually well built and designed home. Zero complaints. We had 12 adults and all had a bed. It was perfect

Beautiful lakefront home with stunning views! The place was clean, cozy, and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Loved the deck and easy lake access. Jill was great and communication was smooth. Would definitely stay again!

The house is amazing but the back patio is the real show stopper! We were able to cook all weekend and really appreciated how stocked the kitchen was with utensils and other items to make it easy. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway.

The perfect rental. The host offered any assistance in advance, although not needed. Very clean. Great find. Beautiful lakefront. 10/10

The wife and pups really enjoyed our stay on the property feels so peaceful and relaxing, with plenty to do if you are outdoors type. Fishing and nature is abundant! Feels like you are off the grid , but town is only 15 minutes away for anything you will need.The cabin is built right into the property with a dock right outside the door and a boat as well.Really recommend checking this out if you like what you see.

This home is absolutely beautiful! My family and I love nature and this home exceeded our expectations. we felt right at home. This home is suitable for those who love the outdoor experience. Nearby Trinity River, Richard Chambers Lake and much more! This home will be our to go home each time we visit to do our Gar fishing and lake adventures 😀.

Me and my 4 best friends spent a wonderful weekend here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The grounds are beautiful, quiet and peaceful and the house is comfortable, clean and fun. It’s a short drive to Canton First Monday and restaurants, grocery store. The hosts were very responsive to any question or request we had and the house was well stocked. The bottled water and goodies to make s’mores was a plus! They even had wood in the fire pit ready to go! I would definitely recommend staying here and plan on coming back with my sister and our girls.

Absolutely beautiful place with direct access to the lake. It was a perfect place for a Father’s Day getaway for my family. It was so peaceful. The kids loved feeding the ducks that were in the lake. I would love to stay here again.

What a beautiful Air bnb! We stayed one night during a cross country road strip and wished we had time for a second night. The pool and hot tub area was beautiful and there were so many toys and activities for kids. Inside the house was just wonderful…we felt so at home and there were so many lovely touches. We have stayed in a lot of air bnbs and this one really was one of the best. It had every kitchen utensil or kitchen equipment you could dream of, with drawers and cupboards clearly labeled making it easy to find things in new surroundings. Very comfortable beds and sofas. The surrounding area was pretty farmland and not too far from the highway and maybe 40mins outside of Dallas so perfect for us. I’m not sure if there was much around in terms of restaurants but with such a beautiful house we really didn’t want to leave. It was the perfect place to recharge our weary travelling souls and get back on the road…highly highly recommend!

The home was open and spacious better than a picture can point out. The view was amazing! The peacefulness uninterrupted quite was to die for. The host were very responsive when ask a question. Our family enjoyed it immensely.
