Rooms with a View! Incredible views off the deck of this 2 bedroom house...in fact I wanted to just stay out there all the time! It was gorgeous! Very private home at the top of the hill country, with views as far as you could see. Simply breathtaking and relaxing!! The rooms were all exactly as described...and all were clean and in perfect condition. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook, and had fantastic stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave. It's a beautiful space that pulls the whole living room and kitchen into one, and with the patio and the view, it makes it seem even bigger!! We loved the deck...and I would definitely love to come back here. The instructions on how to enter thru the gate were very helpful and specific, and it made it easy to get in and enter the home. Close to Comfort, and not far at all into Fredericksburg. You will love this place if you go!!

The river is beautiful! Can spend all day walking down it and watching the fish and large variety of birds! A really great spot for skipping rocks and just enjoying nature!

We had a perfect girls weekend at this home. We enjoy the amenities so much that we didn’t leave the house for the duration of our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Jenelle's place! We brought our dogs and they loved the huge yard and direct access to the lake! We also enjoyed the relaxed environment of being out back. We made s'mores in the firepit and made use of the kayaks they offered! The outdoor space really ticks all the boxes! The inside looks just like the pictures. Beautiful kitchen on the second floor with a good, smaller kitchen on the first floor. Above all, Jenelle was really accommodating to us and made sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. She also sends a very helpful guidebook ahead of time to help plan your stay, which as someone who loves to plan and stay organized I really appreciated! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Austin!

I spent a weekend at this place and really enjoyed it. It’s located at an excellent location close to Lake Travis and there is plenty to do! It has a nice yard and great views of the surrounding area. The bed is very easy to fold and convenient to put away to have more space during the day. Most importantly, Matt was very responsive and helpful in giving us the best experience possible!

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

Love at first sight! Perfect for a couples get away, plenty of room and things to do outdoors and private. Very clean and decor was very nice. We will definitely be back, we didn’t want to leave!

We had a very nice stay, everything was exactly as the pictures showed. The ranch was a good repestation of Texan countryside and a nice reprieve from the big city. Very quiet and peaceful. Sam was great, he happened to be out working on the property during our check out and helped us with our bags which we had a lot due to our cross country road trip. Also his recommendation of Mary's Taco's was much appreciated.

This weekend was nothing short of amazing. And the house matched the vibe to a T.

My family and I loved staying at this cozy home nestled into the beautiful nature of the Texas Hill Country. Pulling in felt like arriving at a private resort, and we all enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the deck to watch the stunning sunset. Our kids loved playing in the perfect sized pool, and the adults loved the experience of relaxing in the sauna while listening to the birds sing outside. The retro arcade cabinet was a huge hit with the kids (and with me, I’ll admit), and we enjoyed watching a family movie on the projector screen upstairs (the kids felt like they were in a private movie theatre). Maria and Larry are incredibly welcoming and proactive hosts; if you need anything at all, they won’t hesitate to help. I could not recommend this place higher, and we definitely will be coming back!

We were looking for something different this trip and the Domie fit the bill! It was clean, comfortable and private. The hosts were friendly, helpful & flexible. What a great way to start Mother’s Day…with a leisurely later check out. Please note, IF you have accessibility issues it is a walk down a rock path to the Dome, there are 3 steps from the Dome to the bathroom, the shower is a soaking tub too so step in/over, the furniture is on the floor and the bed is up the stairs (all as pictured). We knew it was off grid, private & viewed the pics so we wanted to enjoy the Dome before the Texas summer heat hit.

Highly recommend staying at The Martinsburg! Clemens & Audrey are fantastic hosts who are so accommodating and friendly. The homes at The Martinsburg are the coolest tiny homes that felt secure, private, and cozy. Clemens & Audrey fill the home with thoughtful details, with everything you could need, down to dog bowls and dog treats if you indicate that you'll be bringing your pets with you. The retreat really immerses you into the charm of Fredericksburg, with local recommendations and even locally-sourced soap used in the home.

Amazing views - older family members loved sitting at the dining table enjoying the views of the pool & hill country, while younger ones loved the back porch with the ample seating, big tv, and close proximity to the pool. At night, you cannot beat the view of the stars off the back porch! Did I mention the awesome views?!?! Nice spacious bedrooms with ensuite baths, which were a plus! Very nice kitchen - double ovens came in handy! Plenty of kitchen space to accommodate any size group. Ample parking in the front. Will definitely be back.

This is an incredible place. Because we arrived late (after dark), we had some difficulty finding the exact location but Larry, the park host, was incredibly helpful and went all out to help us find the place and get settled in. The location is fantastic and a perfect place to chill and do nothing. There are activities (trails, biking, etc.) if you are interested. The park host was fantastic. I give this place my highest recommendation!

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

Relaxing and peaceful stay with views outside every window. The saltwater pool was refreshing after some time in the sauna…(comfy robes provided) what a treat! Able to walk the property (the hill is a doable work out) and enjoy the sounds of nature and new view scapes. My dog loved it with a fenced yard! Mostly put my feet up, read, and relaxed…even though there are so many options for playing games or catching up on movies with tvs available in almost every room. Definitely a destination for anyone wanting a peaceful getaway or large family reunions with something for everyone. So special to truly feel like I was in the heart of the hill country but with all the amenities and close to the lovely town of Fredericksburg. Hope to make Galaxy View a regularly retreat.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing weekend glamping at Walden Retreats. The entire experience was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we were hoping for. The place was spotless when we arrived—clean, well-kept, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. The views were absolutely stunning and made for the perfect backdrop to unwind and disconnect. We enjoyed every minute, from sitting outside with a cup of coffee to cozying up in the tent at night. It truly felt like a luxury camping experience with all the comforts of home, but surrounded by nature. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

I really enjoyed this quaint, peaceful place! It is rustic with a walk around the back to the bathroom, but I found it charming. The horses were so friendly! I brought carrots, and they even came up to the porch to eat them! The accommodations were simple and they had everything I needed to be comfortable! It was nice to have a cup of coffee on the porch in the morning! One small suggestion I would make would be that it might be nice for a bit more privacy to put in a little wall between the bathroom door and the parking area (or even a fence covered with vines). It would be nice to add pavers from the back door to the bathroom for comfort as well. Overall, I loved this sweet peaceful place, and will definitely plan to return again to get away from it all.
