The old rectory is located in the village of Alt Rehse on Lake Tollensee, surrounded by a large, beautiful garden, with roses, old trees and lots of meadow. By bike or on foot you are at the lake in 15 minutes. The rectory is rustic and cozy, the 4 apartments under the roof, start from a spacious common room and are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The village of Barlin is a very nice place to vacation with horses and a playground. Forest and lakes are close. We former Berliners live next door as a family.

Enjoy living in our apartment, in the small town of Penzlin, centrally located between the cities of Waren 28 km, Neubrandenburg 12 km and Neustrelitz 18 km in the district of Mecklenburgische Seenplatte. 1.5 km to the nearest swimming lake. 7 km to Müritz National Park. Also worth seeing is the old Penzlin Castle with its witch museum. A well-developed network of bike paths also invites you to go for bike rides. A friendly family dog is very happy about guests.

Our vacation home is one of the oldest farmhouses in the village. We restored it with a lot of love and brought it back to its old condition as best we could. We tried to use only historical building materials such as clay and wood. Rumpshagen is located directly in front of the Müritz National Park. Explore the beautiful surroundings, watch storks or enjoy white sloes, listen to frogs and grasshoppers or admire the clear starry sky.
