Our brand new barndominium is a 10 minute drive from Ohio University, yet sits on a 100+ acres in the country. You will find it located near the front of the property, feet away from a 16 acre private water ski lake with beautiful sunset views. Visitors can enjoy hiking, fishing and swimming during their stay. We designed this as a couples retreat, including a 4 person hot tub, but a second bedroom with a full bed and twin trundle can accommodate friends or family who may join you.

Enjoy beautiful Rocky Fork Lake, Amish countryside, hike and explore The Arc of Appalachia. Boat rental is just down the road at Bayside Bait and tackle. Our cabin has 2 full size beds upstairs in loft area as well as a comfy queen sofa that makes a decent bed also. There is a small table and chairs. There is also a larger refrigerator on covered back porch.

Nestled in the trees high above the water, the Overlook Cabin offers a peaceful, comfortable, and intimate experience of the Ohio River, with a large riverfront window, 8x12ft deck, & jacuzzi bath. The 12x40ft space has a queen, 2 twins, another bed in the loft, and a couch, and would be great for families, hunters, or couples. Local coffee provided. Owners live onsite should any issues arise. This country getaway retreat is just what you are looking for. We have designed our space with our guest’s privacy and relaxation in mind. Private gated access where memories are made that last a lifetime! Our most recent addition is a "Grain Bin Gazebo". This cozy backyard retreat is equipped with a gas grill, blackstone griddle, table and chairs. Backyard also has a brick patio, hot tub, hammock and fire pit.

We love the peaceful evenings by the fire soaking up the stars & enjoy the wildlife surprises. It's VERY common to see whitetail deer grazing in our hay fields. We do have WiFi!
