The house has a big garden with a magnificent old stock of trees and a little creek. In a two-minute walk, you are in the romantic flower and wine village of Sasbachwalden. It is characterized by well-kept half-timbered houses, which are embedded in magnificent vineyards. Our guests are welcome to use our sunbathing lawn with sun lounger. The municipality charges a tourist tax of €1.90-2.20 p.p./night (to be paid on site). Free use of bus & train as well as free entrance to the beautiful outdoor swimming pool are just a few advantages.

The apartment with kitchenette and bathroom is all yours and is lockable. We share the house entrance. You can enjoy the sun all day long on your small terrace. Josef lives in the house together with pot-bellied pig Wilhelm and our cats Indie, Hera and Odin🐷 🐈‍⬛ 🐈

Ideal for bikers and hikers.  The accommodation is best reached by car, restaurants & supermarkets are 5-10 minutes away in Gernsbach. There is a call taxi to the Lautenbach district.

Achern is conveniently located between the Rhine and the mountains and between Baden-Baden and Strasbourg. Nearby are ski lifts, cross-country skiing, hiking and cycling trails.

For about 200 years, the train station has been a place for travelers and vacationers. Today you can live in it. Whether with friends or in a small family group. Behind the railway line (5-minute walk) you will find a small stream, fields, forest and meadows. Excursions to the Black Forest, Northern Alsace, Europa-Park or the Europabad are easily accessible from the property.
