A lovely apartment in a quieter area of the city. The street outside has the canal and plenty of local bars and restaurants. The terrace was perfect for our morning coffee or afternoon relax, pretty quiet overlooking rooftops. Walking distance to all the tourist spots, or easy to get to by water taxi. The apartment has lovely traditional decor and is clean and spacious. The only thing to consider is it is up 3 flights of stairs, and has very low ceilings / beams so may be difficult if you are tall. Would definitely recommend. Thanks Francesca

The house was exactly as described! It had chilly air conditioning, the perfect location and a super responsive host. My film for my film camera got destroyed and the host even went and purchased some for me and had it waiting on the table, when I arrived. I thought that the bed/pillows were fine and we slept great!

The apartment is immaculate, the kitchen looks new and the bathroom is also excellent. Easy walk from the water taxi stop. You can walk to St Marks yet the area where the apartment is situated is very quiet at night - which makes it pretty perfect. Thoroughly recommended!

We had a great time at Tanja’s place. We attended the Biennale and we could have not asked for a better location in such a lovely apartment. The neighbourhood was so quiet and nice and Gio was a great co-host.
