Family-friendly holiday rentals in Rio Rico

10/10 It is just as pictured. It Had everything needed to make you feel right at home. The area is very nice. Sylvia the host is very responsive and friendly.

Fantastic location! Close to grocery stores, restaurants, a small playground for little ones, and a a short drive to great hikes. Gareth was friendly and responsive. Will definitely be staying there again!

This large, eclectic house was a fun place to hang out and relax. There isn’t much to do around there (which we knew) and that was perfect for us. We hung out and played pool and polar plunged in the pool and played games and listened to the birds and relaxed. The caretaker was helpful and available. The outdoor hot tub was turned on at our request but it did not get hot at all. It was kind of warm. It was also a surprise to be told we should not flush any toilet paper. Both toilets have bidets but that water is cold! These were fairly minor issues for us, though, and we enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay here for a wedding nearby. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful. Lots of wildlife around which was such a treat! Easy to park and access, had everything you could possibly need. A bit far from Safeway type grocery stores but there are nearby markets and coffee shops. Very close to the cute downtown area. Overall a GREAT experience.

Christopher was incredibly responsive and easy to reach. His communication was fast, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The house itself is in a great, central location, making it easy to find and access everything we needed. It was quiet and peaceful. The house was well-equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group. The living room was perfect for our evenings spent watching western movies with the family. There was plenty of space for our group of five adults and one little dog, and we never felt cramped.

The patio was perfect for our dogs. The room was everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was recently renovated. Great find.

This is the third time I have stayed in this house with four friends. We keep coming back because the house and location work so well for us on our annual retreat. You can walk to most everywhere in town, yet the house itself is very quiet with a nice back patio and a well equipped kitchen. Also very good hiking.

We enjoyed our stay at Celeste’s casita. The place was well appointed with kitchen tools and stocked with extra items in case we ran out of that item…such as paper towels. The place is painted a lively and lovely Southwestern/Mexico feel. Although w gave Celeste and her casita 5 stars, there are a few things to know. The kitchen is small so a stove top was eliminated, instead there is a two burner hot plate. We did use that for the first 4 days…was tricky getting used to cooking on the hot plate. There is also no garbage disposal so we made sure to empty out the sieve in the sink. The parking is good with a rock lined driveway. Their restaurant is across the street and gets really busy so people park their cars on our side of the street. A relief to have a delineated parking space, I appreciated all the communication with Celeste. She was prompt in answering questions. The bed was comfortable which made for a good night’s rest. My sisters and I had a lovely stay at Todd’s place. The house is so cool, it’s decorated in a neat hacidena inspired way. The backyard is spacious and a great place to unwind and watch birds. The bedding was so comfortable. Todd was incredibly kind and quick to respond to our inquiries. We would absolutely stay here again.

Nellie's home is absolutely beautiful, and the views are just sensational. We had the option to stay upstairs or downstairs and chose upstairs; the bed was great, the patio was to die for, and she kept the home at such a nice, cool temperature for us. We had so much fun taking walks in the area and came home one night from dinner to find two deer in the driveway—so awesome!! Nellie is so sweet, caring, helpful, and an awesome host.

Have stayed at this place many times over the last few years… love everything about it. Beautiful location, architecture, grounds…. And the town

One of the most beautiful places we have been. The house was amazing with wonderful artwork books games and instruments and that’s not including the BEAUTIFUL views! A favorite pastime we enjoyed there was watching all the birds each morning (we now love quail and sounds they make)! The wildlife one doesn’t see other places was just an absolute treat for us!! This is a must stay location and one we hope to get back to someday!

We absolutely fell in love with this peaceful and beautiful casita. The host is absolutely delightful, friendly and helpful. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent and she helped us to experience Tubac like a local. We especially loved the top quality king bed and the generous facing the gorgeous sunsets

We had a wonderful time. We loved our casita. Christine was great and helpful with suggestions. We took her advice and went to Wisdom's restaurant and it was amazing!!! Loved pup (bubb? I think). Such a sweet dog. The location was great for lots of different things to do. We will be back again. Loved Tubac too!!

we stayed in the 2 bedroom cassita. it was very comfortable. the beds had firm mattresses. The inside of the cassia was very quiet. The front porch was wonderful to just sit and relax and eat our meals in the shade. we were just about 5 mins, if that, from the Anza Trail which is loaded with birds, as well as the property. The pool was really nice and clean. a little chilly yet but I'm sure it warms up quick.
