The house was in the perfect location for the Hootenanny Fayre 2025. Lovely three bed room accommodation, all with on suite bathrooms and a big enough open space for 4/6 adults. Recommend for next years festival 😉

We had a wonderful, short stay here for a wedding down the road. It was homely, easy to find and exactly what it said on the tin. Set in a stunning location, surrounded by countryside but close to the town too. ☺️ Would definitely recommend!

My brother, whose birthday we were celebrating, was first to arrive. He had had no part in organising it but I had sent him the email link to contact Gary, and had already explained how friendly and amenable Gary was. My brother was still really impressed and surprised by our host's down to earth attitude and generosity. He also made the most of the jet bath before the kids arrived and ruined his peace! The house was just stunning. 8 people, three families, and no one felt on top of one another. With teens and an old lady, we could have easily fallen out somewhere less spacious. Gary did not advertise how big his kitchen space is and that it doubles up as a dance floor ❤️ Very fond memories made of my kids moon walking with their uncle. Huge hot tub. Max 6 but I don't think we had more than 4 in at a time, and it was a lot more pleasant than smaller hot tubs with 4 in at a time. The view from the back of the house was something else. ❤️ Planning our next visit already.

This property’s location is perfect, whether you want to stay on-site and enjoy the vistas of Dartmouth or use it as a base to thoroughly explore the environs. It’s only a short walk into Kingswear, where there is a car or foot ferry to get across to Dartmouth or the steam train which will take you to Paignton. Communication with Mark was thorough during every stage of the booking and stay. The accommodation is divine and we’ve rarely slept so well; a combination of the Savoir bed and serenity within this hillside property. Nothing about the host, property or location could be faulted; exemplary in every aspect.

Stayed at Mike's as it is close to our work. All good, recommend to anyone working in the Devonport area.

Lovely house very close to the beach ! Only thing was quite a tight parking space at the front to get into .

Carly was very helpful as when we book this accommodation it was late notice and Carly took the time out of her evening to meet myself there and to make sure everything was clean and tidy. Thanks again Carly.

What a magical, extraordinary place! Full of nooks and crannies, curiosities, history, secret corridors, and private corners. Spacious and airy bedrooms. Fabulous gardens, set in stunning countryside. A real hidden gem, ripe for exploring and sparking the imagination, while providing a restful retreat from the craziness of moden life!

A lovely spacious place in a beautiful spot. Just what we needed! We came very last minute and had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring the local area. House had everything we needed and lovely hosts. Thanks for having us!

We stayed at Anna’s the night before we set about walking the next leg on our journey along the SWCP. Anna is a wonderful host who makes you feel at home the second you meet her. She is incredibly quick to respond to all messages and was very helpful when it came to organizing our luggage transfer. The room is as described, the bed very comfortable and the area quiet even though the town centre is within easy walking distance. We’d definitely stay again! It’s been a pleasure :-)

Eves is a very good host!! The room was really nice, clean and comfortable. Stayed only one night but the next time i visit the area I will try to stay here again. :)
