2020/21 haben wir das alte Bauernhaus meiner Großeltern mit viel Herzblut und Liebe zum Detail vollständig saniert und die untere Etage zu einer großen Ferienunterkunft umgebaut. In unserem alten Bruchsteinhaus in Monschau-Höfen finden nun bis zu vier Naturliebhaber, Wanderfreunde oder Erholungsurlauber ihren Platz zum Wohlfühlen. Die Unterkunft ist nur bedingt für Kinder unter 2 Jahren geeignet. Hierzu bitte ich um Vorabanfrage. Parken kann man direkt vor der Haustüre auf dem großen Hof.

Please write to me if your appointment is not available. You can expect 2 beautiful bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (160 × 200). In addition, 1 sleeping loft (140 × 200) and 1 very comfortable sofa bed (130 × 200) as well as a large sofa bed (150 × 200) and the double bed (160 × 200) in the garden room. In addition, a modern kitchen, a chic bathroom with windows and a furnished terrace. Private items are kept to a minimum. 5 min walk to Eurogress or Tivoli, 15 min to town hall/cathedral.

Whether it's a weekend trip or a vacation - you will be delighted by the countryside around Bad Münstereifel-Eschweiler and the adjacent nature reserves. There is a lot to explore and you can start numerous hiking trails directly from the apartment. The 90 m² apartment offers plenty of space. A large living-dining area with open kitchen is complemented by two bedrooms (each with a double bed). A terrace with a view and a modern bathroom complete the apartment. You won't want for anything.

Relax and discover in the heart of the Eifel National Park. Hiking on the Eifelsteig or on the Rursee, Vogelsang, Rurseeschifffahrt, renting an e-bike, visiting museums and historic cities such as Monschau. After a short walk to get fresh rolls by the lake and eggs from the neighbor with free-range hens, we always have fresh coffee and considerations for the next exploration tour. In the evening, good restaurants within walking distance offer a great end to the day.

The kitchen and the terrace face south to the traditional Ostermannplatz, where the Cologne flair is alive all year round. This spacious house (55m2) is extremely suitable for hikers, cyclists and families with kids. Right next to the house is the Eifel National Park, and a few minutes' drive away is the Rursee. This is one of the largest reservoirs in Germany and offers many water sports opportunities. From the balcony, you have the most beautiful view of the village, over the beautiful mountain landscape of the Eifel.
