Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rye

We really enjoyed our stay! The house felt larger than what we anticipated. Loved the location and easy walk to harbor. Uncle Oscar trip to Isles of Shoals was nice. Beds were comfy. Had a little issue with the access code on arrival, but Brian responded very quickly and problem was solved. We appreciated all of the toys since we had several small children with us.

This place was absolutely fantastic! The photos don’t even do it justice. The great room/kitchen area are quite spacious and commodious with big comfy couches perfect for lounging. We didn’t have enough time there to avail ourselves of the very big-screen smart tv, but it would be a wonderful space for a movie night! We enjoyed watching the egrets and herons in the view of the salt marsh from the great room. The kitchen with its huge island is very well-appointed with everything you would need to cook up a storm, and with prep on the island, the chef can still be a part of the action in the great room. The beds are very comfortable, and everything was squeaky clean. Kara was immediately responsive when we had a question. We were in the area for a wedding at the Abenaqui Club, which was about 6 minutes away, so a perfect location for us. Portsmouth is only 15 minutes away, so, easy to get to as well. We were 3 adult couples and this place was everything we had hoped for and more!

Steve and Jen’s place was amazing. The house was more beautiful in person and felt just as cozy as home. Beds were very comfortable, there was plenty space for our party of 8 and I was very impressed with the quality of pots/pans the kitchen supplied. The home was stocked with everything you need plus some. The hosts were very responsive and check in/out was super easy. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and I would not hesitate to come back.

we loved staying here! Our 5 yr old did not want to leave! It had everything you need for a perfect family getaway and dog friendly. Tons of toys to pick from and a great completely fenced in yard.. Beautiful location and you can walk 15 min to a super library and a little downtown area with great places to eat!

My husband and I booked this place for a few days to get some time away together. It was perfect! The space is bright and inviting but also cozy and comfortable. We were a little nervous about the emphasis on being quiet but once you’re there, you appreciate the peaceful surroundings. Scott was very quick to respond to messages and was very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Myself and a few friends had a wonderful time staying at Kristen’s house. Perfect location for our venue we attended and close to all the restaurants and a coffee shop we loved. House was perfect and we’ll come back again! Thank you Kristen!!!

Had a great weekend, enjoyed the craft stores and local restaurants, all really easy to walk to. Parked 2 blocks away for free, so no issue there! Would love to revisit sometime!

Loved our stay! The airbnb is located above a restaurant, so parking in the assigned spaces can be a bit tricky if you arrive at night, but still no issues as we parked in a restaurant spot until we could move the cars later. The location is great, walkable to town and the cliff walk. The inside was more spacious than we anticipated from the photos and it was so nicely decorated! Would definitely come back! The side door was a bit tricky to lock, so I’d recommend only opening if you plan to use the little porch area with the full wall opened up.

Stayed alone for a week and it was very nice. The surrounding area had lots of neighbors/ people walking around w their dog or family or just going for a jog felt very safe. I had some issues with the wifi but Travis responded within 30 minutes and helped me with it. The only thing is that the walls are thin so you can hear almost everything but besides that everything else was very nice!

It was great staying at Elizabeth's place! Very clean Airbnb nestled in Hampton. Short 15 minute drive to get to Phillips Exeter for parents or alumni visiting. Very comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with all the amenities you could need including soap, body wash, conditioner, and towels. Would definitely stay here again when I am in the area! Elizabeth was very responsive. She helped me out during a freak blackout that occurred even though she was all the way in California at the time. I really appreciate her help!

Molly's home was the perfect pick. From the second we walked in, we knew we made the right choice. Before even arriving, Molly reached out & made us feel welcome. Her place truly felt like a home away from home. It was comfortable and cozy. Worried that you forgot something? I guarantee she has an extra there waiting for you. Truly the little things that made a huge difference.

My stay at the Marsh-Mellow, hosted by MaryJane, was phenomenal. From check-in to check-out, the process was simple as MaryJane had clear, detailed instructions on how to enter as well as great recommendations on what to do in the area. I have no hesitation when I recommend this space as your next getaway trip. You will not be disappointed!

We loved our stay here, perfect location and a clean and comfortable stay! Lots to do in Portsmouth and the surrounding area and especially lots of great places nearby to eat. Convenient to have 2 parking spots and to be right next to a great restaurant! Well hope to be back in the future!

This is a way to truly get away. The studio was gorgeous, the bed was incredibly comfortable and having the ocean right outside was amazing. We only booked for a weekend, but I wish we had booked for a week - so amazing!! Everything was perfect!!

Christopher’s place was extremely clean and in the perfect location to explore downtown Portsmouth. We would highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

I enjoyed my stay. The location is great - just beyond the main beach traffic but close enough to enjoy all the shops/restaurants. Loved being able to see the ocean from bed and watching the sunrise from the apartment/balcony.
