We had a wonderful time in Hollum. The small apartment was exactly the pictures and very well equipped. It was for every need for everything. The apartment is in a kind of backyard, the hosts live next door and are available for questions and support at any time. Nevertheless, one "lives" very private. We could even book bed linen, which was very accommodating. The accommodation is in a very good location. The small village with shops was within walking distance in a few minutes. The great beach and the lighthouse were also very close. We would always like to come back !!

Despite the really short notice from my side all went well. A bit unusual approach about the towels, soap, bed linen laundry etc., but it was mentioned in the ad after all. Quick responses and good communication.

An amazing cozy house in the center of Hollum. The city center, shops and public transport is all nearby and can be reached by foot. Siebe is very kind and answers really quickly. The house was neat and we could feel at home.

The apartment is perfect for a family with children. The stairs to the second floor are a bit steep but no problem for older children. The kitchen is well equipped with micro, gas stove and fridge. An oven is not available. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the garden shed, great! The center of Hollum is within easy walking distance and the beach is 10 minutes by bike. Apartment and location recommended!

Kamerverhuur "Rust" op Ameland is gelegen aan het oudste laantje van het pittoreske dorp Hollum aan de westzijde van het eiland. Heerlijk rustig gelegen, op loopafstand van het sfeervolle dorpscentrum, strand, bos en duinen. Naast een comfortabel onderkomen bieden wij u nog vele extra's die uw verblijf bij "Rust" op Ameland een diepere betekenis kan geven. Belangrijk: - kamer is 230 cm/ 200 cm; - geen verdere voorzieningen; - geen slot; - kamer kan gehorig zijn ivm de oudheid van de woning.

De kamer is schoon, licht en netjes ingericht. Er is een boxspring bed aanwezig en een stoel. De kamer is 230 x 200 cm. Op de kamer is een waterkoker aanwezig om uzelf van koffie en thee te voorzien. Daarnaast kunt u gebruik maken van de handdoeken.

De woning staat in één van de meest sfeervolle straten van Hollum, dichtbij de kerk met kerkentoren. Het is centraal gelegen, de buurt is zeer rustig.

Cora is a great host, the accommodation ist very well located and super cozy - I really recommend staying there!

I too found myself spontaneously with Cora. The location of the house is really great. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. Fresh linen and towels are provided by Cora. A delicious breakfast with coffee was also available. I will gladly come again!

Small, neat room with everything you need at the moment. The bed is fine (not too hard) and in terms of noise .. if you bring a pair of earplugs then you will not be bothered. I had a nice stay and will definitely come back!

De naam t Dûnpantke is ontleed aan de vele knusse duinpannetjes die op Ameland zijn. Dit 2 persoonsvakantiehuisje is net zo knus. Het kleine huisje op 10 minuten lopen van bos en strand en aan de rand van het prachtige dorpje Hollum is voorzien van vele gemakken en voelt als een warme deken een echt warm duinpannetje! Met het prachtige bloemrijke tuintje op het zuiden is het er heerlijk vertoeven. Wij hopen u snel te kunnen verwelkomen.

TDûnpantke is van alle gemakken voorzien. Een kamer/ keuken 1 slaapkamer en toilet met douche. Gratis wifi en cv door in het hele huisje. Een heerlijke tuin op het zuiden met lekker ligstoelen, kussens en een parasol. Huisdieren zijn welkom tegen betaling van €19,- per dier per verblijf.

Welkom, Aan de rand van het prachtige dorp Hollum in een karakteristieke rustige straat verhuren wij 3 gezellige vrij staande vakantiehuizen. Voor twee, vier of zes personen. Weekend, midweek en nachtverhuur mogelijk De vakantiehuizen zijn compleet ingericht, u heeft een terras en een grote tuin met veel speelmogelijkheid. Het centrum van het dorp is op loop afstand, circa 250 meter. Daar zijn oa een supermarkt, warme bakker en diverse souvenirs winkels. U kunt op meerdere plaatsen in het dorp fietsen huren. Er zijn verschillende eetgelegenheden waaronder restaurants, Mexicaan, pizzeria en een snackbar. ’s Avonds zijn er diverse uitgaansgelegenheden oa cafés en vele gezellige terrasjes Het strand met Noord- en Waddenzee en het bos met vuurtoren, eendenvijver en speeltoestellen zijn op slechts 10 min. loopafstand. Op het Noordzeestrand is een bewaakt badstrand waar u heerlijk kunt zwemmen en evt. iets kunt drinken of eten in de gezellige strandtent. Lekker uitwaaien en jutten op het strand is ook zeker de moeite waard.

Beautiful bungalow in a wonderful location. We had a lovely time exploring the surrounding nature that was only a quick bike ride away. The bungalow had everything we needed with a lovely garden, kitchen and bedroom. Thank you Geertje :)

The welcome from Geertje was pleasant. We immediately felt welcome and trusted. Our cats had come (announced) and were also welcomed. The cottage is not large but fully equipped, with a good bed (not unimportant since one of us has it on her back) and full kitchen equipment. What we saw as a microwave turned out to be a real oven! Do bring your own herbs, and oil and vinegar etc. We also brought our own garlands with Christmas lights for some homeliness. 't dûnpantke is a short walk from the lively center of Hollum and the fact that it was Kunstmaand on Ameland more than made up for the unexpectedly bleak and drizzly weather. In short, we had a great time!

Perfect location, great food all around and super close. Also close to bus stop so easy to travel. Geertje met us when we arrived and was very friendly.. he was also able to speak English and German, so this was helpful. Place was very cozy and comfortable. Would come back here again! Thank you!!

Fully beautiful, well-designed apartment complex with a hotel connection. The swimming pool can be reached in swimwear (via a covered, warm access). You have a direct connection to the hotel and you can book a great breakfast buffet there ... The apartment is equipped with everything that is needed. Perfect for 2 people. The sofa bed is pretty firm to sleep on. So I find it too small for 4 adults. We were 2 adults and 2 children, that was also possible for 4 days ... The terrace and the outside area are well-kept and invite you to linger. Also great with children: they can move safely there.

Het fijne appartement zit met een gang vast aan hotel Amelander Kaap. Naast de privévertrekken in het appartement kan er gebruik gemaakt worden van het zwembad en tegen betaling van de tennisbanen, de squashbaan en de kleine sauna. Ons appartement is onlangs opnieuw ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Op de tweede laag van het appartement bevinden zich twee slaapkamers. Een slaapkamer met twee enkele boxspringbedden die tegen elkaar aan staan als tweepersoonsbed. Op de tweede slaapkamer staan twee stapelbedden, een goed formaat met prettige matrassen waar je ook als volwassene een prima nachtrust zult hebben. Op beide kamers is jaarruimte aanwezig. De badkamer heeft een wastafel, toilet en een bad/douche. Het appartement beschikt over een oven/magnetron combinatie. De trap is voorzien van een traphekje en er is een kinderstoel aanwezig. Het appartement heeft een ruim balkon met vrij uitzicht. Op het balkon staan twee tafeltjes en zes stoelen. Ook hangt er een klein droogrek. Verplicht : lakenpakket 7,50 p.p. The apartment belongs to a holiday complex with hotel and other apartments. It can be reached via the hotel entrance as well as via a separate apartment entrance. Right next door is a bus stop. Velo rental. Shopping possibilities are nearby. The best way to reach the beach, lighthouse, village by bike ... The small indoor pool of the hotel can be shared (as well as all other offers), which of course the kids found great. The apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated and nothing was missing. It has a balcony overlooking the countryside. The balconies between the apartments are hardly separated, so a little bit privacy ... The location of the balcony to the rear is perfect!

Deze ruime en lichte kamer is op de begane grond en middels een schuifdeur hebt u direct toegang tot het terras dat aan de tuin grenst waar u vrijwel altijd een plekje in de zon kunt vinden.

De afmetingen van 3,5 bij 5 meter in combinatie met de hoge zoldering maken dit tot een royale kamer waarin u heerlijk kunt verblijven. Daarnaast hebt u de beschikking over uw eigen luxe badkamer met douche, toilet en ligbad. Kamer en badkamer zijn centraal verwarmd en hebben tevens vloerverwarming. Koffiezetapparaat, waterkoker, koffie, thee, koelkastje, bed-en badlinnen zijn aanwezig.

De locatie aan de rand van het dorp maakt dat u in alle rust van uw verblijf kunt genieten terwijl alle faciliteiten zoals winkels en restaurants etc. slechts enkele honderden meters verwijderd zijn. De afstand tot het strand en het wad bedraagt ca. 1500 meter.

We were excited after all the previous reviews about the garden room, so booked. They all turned out to be right. Jannie and Hans are friendly, funny and very hospitable. They even jokingly offered that we could come to them if we were afraid of the storm. :) But when it rains hard you get such a wonderful feeling under the roof of the garden room, we were nice and warm and cozy while the outside was raging. We could make tea and coffee whenever we wanted, the bathroom is luxurious and spotless and the breakfasts were delicious. The beds can separate if you want and the space is nice and high. With the skylights open and a warm blanket, we slept wonderfully! In short, a perfect base for an adventure on Ameland.

We were able to spend two wonderful wedding and honeymoon in Sjaaks dreamlike accommodation on the outskirts of Hollum. The apartment is well equipped, very clean and well maintained and furnished with great attention to detail. Upon arrival, fresh flowers and a greeting card awaited us for the wedding. So, so attentive. We lacked nothing and we felt very comfortable from the first day on and at home. There was even a dishwasher, which we did not necessarily expect. A special highlight is the location of the house and the fantastic view from the terrace. Surrounded by a magical garden you can enjoy the view of the Hollumer dunes. Both the sea and the center of Hollum are within walking distance. Very special is that you have the feeling, you would live in the middle of the islanders and not in a holiday home with many tourists. This is how you experience Ameland very authentically. It also necessarily contributes to homeowner and host Sjaak. What a wonderful person! Very friendly, accommodating and at the same time incredibly discreet. We would like to return to Zuiderlaan 7 one day!

Our apartment 'Grijze Duinen' (Gray Dunes) is part of 4 star resort 'Amelander Kaap' in the village of Hollum. The apartment is at walking distance from the lighthouse, the forest, the beach and the village centre. In the resort, a number of facilities are at your disposal, among which are an indoor swimming pool (no extra charge), a sauna, indoor squash courts, a bar and a restaurant. From July 6th until August 31st, we rent out the apartment per weekend, per midweek or per full week.

The apartment was fully renovated in 2017. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a sunny terrace and free WiFi. There is one bedroom with a double bed (2p) and a sofabed (2p) in the living room.

The accommodation we liked. Especially great for the kids, was the use of the swimming pool! We arrived without a car, the area is very easy to reach by bus - bus stop "Amelander Kap". The island can be explored very well by bike and by bus. The lighthouse can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot. Just as fast you are in the center of Hollum. We had some nice days on Ameland!

Op eigen terrein van ruim 500m2 kunt u genieten van uw vakantie. de vakantiewoning bevindt zich in het rechtergedeelte van de in 1980 volledig gerestaureerde boerderij. Kamerverhuur "Rust" op Ameland is gelegen aan het oudste laantje van het pittoreske dorp Hollum aan de westzijde van het eiland. Heerlijk rustig gelegen, op loopafstand van het sfeervolle dorpscentrum, strand, bos en duinen. Naast een comfortabel onderkomen bieden wij u nog vele extra's die uw verblijf bij "Rust" op Ameland een diepere betekenis kan geven. Belangrijk: - geen slot; - kamer kan gehorig zijn ivm de oudheid van de woning.

De kamer is schoon, licht en netjes ingericht. Er zijn boxspring bedden, er is een wastafel en een zitje aanwezig in de kamer. De 'oude' details in de woning en kamer zorgen voor extra sfeer en warmte. Op de kamer is een waterkoker aanwezig om uzelf van koffie en thee te voorzien. Daarnaast kunt u gebruik maken van de handdoeken. Er zit geen slot op de slaapkamerdeur. Wel een haakje aan de binnenkant.

De woning staat in één van de meest sfeervolle straten van Hollum, dichtbij de kerk met kerkentoren. Het is centraal gelegen, de buurt is zeer rustig.

We contacted Cora at very short notice and arrived at her door an hour later. Everything worked out great. The room was clean and big enough to spend a few days there. The location is great.

Cora's stay was wonderful. Beautiful home in the cozy Hollum and near beautiful nature. The room was neat, clean and cozy. Wonderful beds! Cora is flexible and very hospitable. Communication went really well. If I come back to Ameland, I would definitely want to stay here again. Really recommended to everyone!

Hollum is the largest village on Ameland and its known for its beautiful 17th century architecture. Tussen Dijken is located in the historic center of Hollum, close to shops and restaurants. The beach is 1.5km away, easy reachable by bike, which is the favorite mode of transport on Hollum. You can rent bikes on arrival at the Island. Tussen Dijken consists of 7 apartments on a large grounds of 4500 m2. It has a large playground. The apartment has a large living room, open kitchen and 3 bedrooms and a bathroom.

This is an absolute TOP house. Everything has been thought of and it is super clean. The location is great too. Very quiet on the edge of the golf course and your walk or bike ride through the dunes starts at the door. The double bed is suitable for tall people and the shower is also high enough. Saakje's place is very nice and the location is quite convenient. We (two grown-ups and two kids) spent to nights there and that was just fine. For a longer period the apartment might be too small for a family but perfect for two, I guess. Communication with Saakje was very easy and quick also the check-in worked perfectly. The apartment was ready well before the check-in time, which was really great for us. Overall I can highly recommend Saakje's apartment if you want to spend a few days on beautiful Ameland.

Chalet Oester is een 5 pers. chalet in Ballum. 10 min. lopen naar het strand. Gratis wifi. Oester heeft een eigen toilet en douche, keuken. 2 fietsen gratis te gebruiken in het schuurtje. Een terras met terrasmeubels en bbq. In het nabij gelegen dorpje Ballum (loopafstand) is een supermarkt, snackbar en restaurants.

Er zijn spelletjes aanwezig .

Camping Roosduinen ligt in een natuurgebied en een nabij gelegen bos. Je vind er vele soorten planten en paddenstoelen. Je hoort er de koekoek en veel zangvogels . je ziet er nog de tapuit ,bruine kiekendief en wulp. Dus teveel om op te noemen en lekker het veld in om te ontdekken wat voor moois er groeit en bloeit. De zee is op loopafstand te bereiken.

Gelegen boven het recentelijk in ere herstelde café De Welvaart, ligt kamer Levi. Midden in het historisch centrum van Hollum. Gelegen op slechts 1,3 km van het strand. De studio is niet groot, maar heeft een ruime eigen badkamer. De kamerdeur heeft een slot. De bedden zijn 210 lang. Er is een tv en wifi aanwezig en een gedeelde groot dakterras, waar u heerlijk in de zon kunt zitten. Wij wensen u alvast een plezierig verblijf op het eiland.

Studio Levi heeft twee eenpersoonsbedden. De kamer is voorzien van een klein keukenblokje, waar zich een kleine koelkast in bevindt en u servies voor twee personen aantreft. Er is een waterkoker, cafetière en een theepot aanwezig. Evenals een theedoos met diverse theeën. De bedden zijn voorzien van linnengoed en er zijn een handdoek en washand per gast aanwezig. Tegen meerprijs kan er extra linnengoed gehuurd worden, te bevragen aan de bar beneden.

Café de Welvaart is gelegen in het historisch centrum van Hollum. De zee ligt op ongeveer 1,5 km afstand en is een prima startpunt voor wandelingen of fietstochten. Bij de naast gelegen kerk, vindt u o.a. het graf van de beroemde commandeur Hidde Dirks Kat. Naast de kerk bevindt zich, op 150 meter van de Welvaart, ook een ruime parkeerplaats, waar u gratis kunt parkeren. Op ongeveer 500 meter vindt u het huidige centrum van Hollum, met een bakker, waar u eventueel kunt ontbijten, leuke winkeltjes, terrasjes en eetgelegenheden en musea.

In appartement Suudwest is het elk seizoen genieten van de mooiste zonsondergangen, vrijheid en ruimte. Het ligt op 5 min. loopafstand van de zee en het centrum van het mooie dorpje Hollum.

We spent a long weekend with Corrie and her husband. The stay was very relaxed, the environment quiet and rural, and everything was great to reach with the provided bicycles. The contact with Corrie was quick and warm, she also had good tips to explore the island. The only downer was that during our stay a fair was going on until late at night. Of course Corrie can do nothing about that. All in all a perfect weekend, gladly again!

It is a great place at Hollum. Just outside the village, but you can easily go there. The view from the cottage is fantastic, first a beautiful piece of pasture, then the dike, which turns north east into the dunes. The cottage is fine, everything is there in what you need. We had a very nice time, partly due to the heat wave. We have experienced the beach at all times of the day. To be repeated!

Very pleasant, quiet apartment surrounded by sheep, with a beautiful view of the countryside. There are two bicycles with which you can explore the island wonderful.

I really enjoyed my stay at Corrie's place. Though I spent only two days in Ameland, I could see a lot of the island thank Corrie's helpful tips. Special value is great bicycles given to me and friend. Corrie is a very nice host and I can only recommend her place for all travellers to Ameland.

Corrie and her husband are very warm, entertaining people. They live right next to the apartment and were at check in and for questions at any time reachable. The apartment is beautifully located, with great views in the garden. In addition, sparkling clean and comfortably furnished. It is located between the city center (Hollum) and the beach. Any time.

We had a very good time at Ameland! We stayed at the appartement mwith our 6 months old daughter. Corrie was very nice and prepared a lot for our daughter..high chair, crib and also toys! We could always ask them if we had questions! I totally csn recommend this place!

This is a perfect accommodation to stay. Nice village and lots to see in the area. Hollum has a bakery and supermarket and nice restaurants. The beach is also nearby. From the house you can easily walk or cycle. The house is perfect and nothing is missing. Very nice hostess and host. It is very quiet there. Worth repeating.

Our apartment 'Witte Duinen' (White Dunes) is part of 4 star resort 'Amelander Kaap' in the village of Hollum. The apartment is at walking distance from the lighthouse, the forest, the beach and the village centre. In the resort, a number of facilities are at your disposal, among which are an indoor swimming pool (no extra charge), a sauna, outdoor tennis courts, a bar and a restaurant. From July 6th until August 31st, we rent out the apartment per weekend, per midweek or per full week.

The apartment was fully renovated in 2017. It has a fully equipped kitchen, a sunny terrace and free WiFi. There is one bedroom with a double bed (2p), another with two single beds and a sofabed (2p) in the living room.

The apartment was much better than expected, all rooms were very clean. Check in with the host went great, he took a lot of time and explained everything, including the event options in the residential complex.

The apartment is located on a hotel resort. There are a variety of ways to deal with even in bad weather. The apartment was very clean and had a good basic equipment for self-catering. In the apartment there is a microwave with oven function. Very positive, as no oven on the photos or in the description is indicated. The apartment is east facing, so every morning the sun shone in the common room and on the terrace. We had a great stay. Especially the two included bikes are a great extra and allow fast ways to shop, visit the beach and to travel over the island. The connections by bus are adapted to the ferry. We will be back.

The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped for a family. It is part of a hotel with a swimming-pool and tennis courts, ping-pong table and a restaurant. It is located just close to the charming village of Hollum, where you will find restaurants, grocery store... We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed very much biking among the dunes and all around the island.
