Tabbs Cottage is surrounded by thatched cottages and accessed from the road by a quiet pedestrian lane. From the lane, the cottage is accessed through a white picket fence into the welcoming cottage garden. A path leads you around the house to the entrance hall. From the entrance hall is a superb and characterful kitchen diner with views through the sunroom into the garden. The sun room is the perfect place to relax, read a book or have a glass of wine with comfy Lloyd loom wicker chairs and French doors leading out to the garden and outdoor seating area. A large yet cosy living room is accessed from the kitchen, with woodburning stove, beams and a piano, perfect for atmospheric evenings in. A utility room with playful seaside mural, washer/dryer and compact freezer. The ground floor shower room is perfect for hopping straight in from long days at the beach. On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, one super king, bunk room sleeping four and one king complete with ensuite shower room. The simple, calm decoration combined with comfortable bedding ensures a peaceful nights sleep after exciting days out. Outside, a lawn provides the space for children to play and patio area houses a comfortable rattan table, chairs and charcoal BBQ perfect for al fresco dinning. Alternatively curl up in the hanging egg chair with the perfect holiday read.

Close by to Salcombe this newly converted, contemporary annexe is part of West Cliff House occupying a peaceful location 15 minutes along a small track leading to the magical beach of Soar Mill Cove. Set in AONB National Trust land with direct access to the coast path offering spectacular walks to Salcombe with its sandy beaches, pubs and restaurants and over Bolberry Down to, South Milton Sands and on to Bantham. Large sun deck that looks over beautiful gardens and countryside, free parking.

We are fortunate to be located 2.5 miles from the picturesque sea side village of Hope Cove and 2 miles from popular Salcombe and the south west coast path. The friendly village of Malborough has two fabulous pubs and an Asda garage. There is a bus service from the village to Hope Cove and Salcombe.

Situated near the South West coast path and walking distance (20mins walk 1 mile) to pubs and beaches at Hope Cove and South Milton Sands. Salcombe and Kingsbridge less than 10 mins drive away! We are very happy for you to bring dogs but we request that they are not left at home unattended and that you clean up after them.

The spaces are light and airy, the kitchen is south facing and has bifold doors leading out to the patio and garden, bringing the outside in. Blackberry cottage is available on a weekly basis during the school holidays with changeover day being a Friday. Outside school holidays the cottage is available for 3 night minimum stays for your perfect seaside escape.
