Heike is an excellent host. Very friendly and nice conversations. She also asked me for coffee in the morning and I was also allowed to eat bread, which is certainly not common. The room was very clean. I would particularly like to highlight the mattress, I have never had such a good night's sleep and would have loved to take the mattress with me. I can highly recommend Heike and if I am around again I would be happy to come back.

I was happy to be there. Heike had a few good tips right at the beginning where there was something to eat and what else I could do. It was quiet and there was a parking lot right outside the door. Cool!

We stayed at Inna after a bike ride. The apartment is big, clean and has everything you need. It is not really central - but with the bike we could easily reach everything. Communication with Inna was always straightforward. I would definitely recommend the place!

It was clean, quiet, had everything necessary for living and cooking (coffee machine, microwave, etc.). You could adjust the temperature in your room and it was very nice. Andre was very hospitable and attentive to needs. A great little place to stay in Duisburg.

This Airbnb had everything we needed for a weekend in Oberhausen. It is right on the corner from several bus lines. The bed is quite comfortable, and the space is really useful for 2 people to stay, eat/cook small meals, and hang out. There is a jacuzzi that isn’t pictured, but it doesn’t have a stopper. The stairs are a bit scary, and feel like they will collapse, but that is the only negative. Would definitely encourage people to stay here!

A spacious entire house in Oberhausen ; very clean, stylish and excellent value for money. Check in and out processes are very easy. 2 floors with a spiral stair (a bit challenging for unfit people). I strongly recommend this place.

Thanks to Heidi's son who takes care of everything when problems arise. Everything was super clean and great for sleeping and lingering.

I was very happy with the accommodation. You have so much space and everything you need. It could be added a few things in the kitchen such as a peeler or a few sharp knives, a wall clock in the kitchen would not be bad and a small kitchen radio but otherwise everything is great. Yes the stairs are a bit narrow and shaky and the jacuzzi does not work but these are things that did not bother me. Maybe that will be repaired. For me it was important that it is clean and I can shower and rest otherwise. That is definitely given. Within walking distance is also a Lidl and various restaurants. The city center of Oberhausen can be reached by car in 5 minutes and just 4 km away. I will definitely come back because I'm working in Oberhausen a lot soon!

Norman's accommodation is as described and has everything you need. There are good links to public transport within walking distance. There is also good parking around the property for drivers. The bed is very comfortable.

I had the privilege to spend 6 weeks in the Airbnb accommodation of Thoren and Gianna. Everything was super easy to find and you can park for free anywhere in the area. In addition, Thoren and Gianna received me very heartily and have looked from the first second that everything is "perfect" for me! To the accommodation: The accommodation looks 1: 1 like in the photos! It is spotless and you immediately feel at home. The location of the apartment is ideal, the nearest supermarket is only about 500m. On the whole, I can really recommend this Airbnb only to anyone who wants to feel at home during his stay and also wants to have a very pleasant and super helpful host!

The apartment is very spacious and has not only two bedrooms, but also a living room and a large kitchen with a balcony. It is comfortably furnished and contains everything you need for a few days in Duisburg. Although the apartment is in the middle of the Ruhr area, it is relatively quiet there. The truly scenic landscape park Duisburg Nord can be reached in a few minutes on foot. Also shopping and dining are easy to reach, as well as a tram stop (when we were there, but SEV). The apartment can be the starting point for many nice activities in Duisburg, z. Excursions to the Landschaftspark Duisburg Nord or to the walk-in sculpture "Tiger and Turtle", for a harbor cruise through the largest inland port in the world and a visit to the Museum of German Inland Navigation. The other Ruhrgebiet cities as well as the nearby Dusseldorf have much to offer. Important note: The street in which the apartment is located, there are twice in Duisburg! Unfortunately we drove to the wrong place first ...

The communication was very fast and unproblematic. Due to a car breakdown, we had to arrive later, but this was no problem at all with a self-check-in. Stayed at this apartment as an alternative to the outrageous prices around DUS airport as we didn't mind 15min walking to Duisburg station and 7 min train ride to DUS. Comfortable for two persons, with small kitchen and small bath (tough using the shower is a bit specific). We really appreciated how new and clean this property is, and really enjoyed the NETFLIX entertainment. Host met us upon checkin for giving us keys which was a bit stressing due to our constant delays (absolutely not a host fault). Overall excellent experience and great value for money, recommended!

For people who are difficult to walk, the apartment is not recommended because it is on the top floor and the entrance to the shower is very high. We would come back anytime :-)

The check in was easy with a code, which is very practical since you don't have to carry a key around when you leave the property. It was very clean and simply and stylishly decorated. The apartment is fully equipped and contains everything you need. There are enough shops and leaves nothing to be desired. We really enjoyed it and would love to come back again and again.

We had a comfortable stay in Christoff's house which has complete amenities. Netflix was a plus point especially for the children. We would definitely stay there for our next visit.

This apartment is perfect. It has everything, from a comfortable bed to a well equipped kitchen to a nice bathroom and a great livingroom. And at a good location. We went to the christmas market just a few blocks from the apt. It wasn't that nice but Christof had some other suggestion and we enjoyed the rest of Oberhausen and another Christmas market.

This was just an overnight stop over on route back to England after spending Christmas and New Year in Poland. We (a family of five, three kids under 10) arrived in the early evening (7pm) and parking was difficult, only on the street outside several large apartment blocks. It was simply hard to find a spot, it was dark and there seemed to be a lot of people just "hanging around" outside the entrance areas, so although the building was secure it just didn't feel particularly safe to leave the car on the street. Especially as we were fully loaded with Christmas presents and on British plates, so we really stuck out! We were a bit concerned we might wake up to find the car gone or broken into. However, this did not occur so maybe we were just being too paranoid! Once inside the secure building, everything was perfectly fine!

If you need a big apartment with 4 beds in 2 bedrooms with a well-equipped kitchen, fast wi-fi and a private parking lot (the entrance is around 2.8m high) for a really good price, do not hesitate more. Bus station and supermarkets are close too.

Highly Recommended! Kosta's apartment is located in max. 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to Oberhausen train station, by tram or bus approx. 10 minutes to Centro Oberhausen / Neue Mitte Oberhausen. We were here for a concert in the König-Pilsener Arena and therefore had to do a little more organizational work, as we (as a three team) traveled from different directions in Germany. But that was absolutely no problem, since Kosta was really easy and very flexible to deal with, so we didn't have to worry about the organization (including small tips on how best to get to the concert). The single bedroom has a double and a single bed, although the latter can be expanded to a double bed, which offers space for 4 people. The "welcome pack" included a few small chocolate balls (optimal strengthening before the concert, by the way!) As well as a bottle of water for each case and a really well-designed list with the nearest (and highly recommended) bars and cafés including baker, supermarket and what else you need - nothing stood in the way of trip planning and the spontaneous organization of something that could be bitten. The kitchen of the apartment has its own refrigerator compartment for the guests, a large selection of hot drinks (to my delight, including a tea bar :)) and also offers a top selection to strengthen and take care of yourself. All in all: Come and visit him and enjoy your stay - a really top recommendation! ;) Oh yes, and the apartment is also really cute and chic. ; P

Kosta was a very relaxed and calm host, everything went perfectly. The location is central, so that the train station but also the turbine hall and arena can be easily reached on foot or by public transport.
