No4, Railway Cottage was originally home to the local railway workers and now offers cosy comfortable accommodation, with lovely views across open fields and a wonderful private, sunny garden for lazy afternoons and al fresco dining. The garden is a particular attraction, providing various areas for relaxing, including a small fruit orchard, part of which is kept as a wildflower meadow. The cottage is primarily set up for 4 guests but possible to sleep 6 by using sofa-bed in dining room.

It is a private part of Foxholes House which dates back to the early 1700s and was once part of the Longleat Estate (The Marquess of Baths’ crest remains on the wall in the main part of the house). The lounge features a 75 inch smart TV, sofa (sofa bed) with soft blanket and cushions so you can sit back relax and enjoy Netflix. The kitchen has everything you’ll need and leads onto a nice outdoor patio! On the first floor, we have two bedrooms and a washroom. The newly renovated washroom contains adjustable power shower for sitting or standing power shower.

It is the perfect base for visiting all that Salisbury and the surrounding area has to offer. Large, scenic windows give plenty of light and views to a long garden, with woodland and river beyond. With your own front door you will be able to come and go as you wish. We have plenty of secure, gated off road parking for car and cycles.
