“This place is absolutely magical! What a gift to share such a historic home with the public. Javier was incredibly responsive and helpful- I have not met a better host in my AirBnB experience! I can see why so many people return here over the years; it is like a home away from home. The beds are cozy, towels are fluffy and plentiful, and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and so spacious. The piano is AMAZING! Also- as a person with 3 cats, I loved being greeted by the outdoor cat who is so friendly and sweet. We have several jobs in the valley and hope to return when we can! Absolutely recommended to anyone and everyone ❤️”
A peaceful haven and home away from home- that's how many have described this one bedroom, one (large) bathroom apartment (700 sq ft), with fully-furnished kitchen, private patio and separate entrance . We tried to incorporate everything a person would need to be comfortable. We look forward to welcoming you to the Los Fresnos/South Padre Island/Brownsville area! This apartment is connected to our home, but it has its own private entrance.
“This place is great for any couples or very small families traveling to the area. My girlfriend and I came to visit South Padre Island for 4 days. This Airbnb is about a 30 minute drive, so very doable. The price was extremely reasonable and you have a full guest suite to yourself with private bathroom (with walk-in shower) that has a bathtub, king sized bed, and a private living room and kitchen (with an oven, fridge, microwave, toaster oven). The place was very spacious and situated on an oxbow lake which nice views of the water and some tropical trees. There is a carport to park your car as well. Tommi was very responsive and was available should we have needed anything particular during our stay. I would stay here again and recommend this airbnb”
This is a 3 br house built in 1970. I’m working on updates little by little. The room you’ll be in was for my girls (now grown and have families of their own) hence the color scheme and decorations. The kitchen has been updated and you are welcome to use it. There’s patio furniture in the back too and it’s quite pleasant in the evening! I have a 65 lbs dog and she lives indoors with me so you probably should be a dog lover!
“You couldn't ask for a nicer host than Jake. He was so kind, thoughtful, and considerate. He was great to talk to, but also gave me my space when I needed it. Jake went out of his way to make me comfortable in his home and I felt like we'd been friends for years. And that sweet, sweet Liesl. Truly the sweetest pup I've ever met! Jake's place is clean and comfortable. It's not fancy, but Jake has thought of everything a traveler might need. The bed was super comfy, the shower was great, and the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed to make my meals. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I was traveling alone without a car and I never once felt unsafe. It was easy to get around, and there's a great Mexican restaurant (Los Mismos) 2 blocks away that serves amazing breakfasts and lunches. Jake was great at communicating and always answered my texts and emails within minutes. Great place, great host, great value - what more could you want?”
