The apartment is inside the church called "Chiesa di SAN GIOVANNI ELEMOSINARIO" one of the oldest churches in the Rialto area built in the 11th century, the only church saved from a fire that broke out in the 15th century and by 1700 it had become the priest’s house. This apartment looks like an English cottage is in the middle of the historic center but sheltered from the crowd: the previous owners were two English University professors who loved Venice and came here to write. When we saw it it seemed simply perfect for just 3 nights or a longer stay: the kitchen is fully equipped, the living area is comfortable and with a real fireplace , the bedroom is very large and the large bathroom is perfect for relaxing at the end of the day!

The flat is located in a building from the early 1900s, was completely renovated in 2022 and is continuously being improved in detail. It is located in Giudecca Zitelle, very close to the Zitelle Church and within few steps from the Giudecca Canal with a view of St. Mark's Square. The furniture is new, essential, modern with few touches of color. The entrance takes place with a code which allows to open a small box in which the keys to open the front door are placed.
