Delizioso monolocale, al primo piano di un elegante e storico palazzo. Affaccio su Piazza del Mercato ("il salotto della citta'). Appartamento arredato con mobili d'epoca, fornito di tutto il necessario. Piccolo e accogliente, curato nei minimi particolari, perfetto come base per esplorare la citta'. Da qui infatti si possono raggiungere a piedi in pochi minuti i principali monumenti: Duomo, Rocca Albornoziana e Museo del Ducato, Ponte delle Torri. L' alloggio è adatto a coppie e solitari.
“The apartment is excellent, clean, very nice, very central on the market square, easy to reach, has everything you need even for cooking. Felicita and her friend were very kind, they gave us great information for our holiday, check in and out was very easy. Make sure you are a heavy sleeper like ours, because (at least in our period) the market square (right under the windows, which is too hot to close) is noisy until very late in the evening!”
Accogliente e luminoso appartamento totalmente ristrutturato vicinissimo ai principali punti di interesse come la Rocca, il Duomo i Teatri etc, il tutto raggiungibile sia a piedi con una bellissima passeggiata tra le vie antiche sia con le vicinissime scale mobili che si inerpicano sotto il colle della rocca regalando una vista mozzafiato della città, o i tapis roulant che vi porteranno nei principali punti di interesse senza nessuna fatica percorrendo una modernissima rete di vie sotterranee.
“Very nice apartment, clean, and well-stocked with kitchen items, etc. Well-located inside the centro storico with a good view of the Rocca (fortress) but near the edge of the centro storico so was vehicle accessible. Simona noted this in her descripion of the apartment but it was indeed noisy on the street below until the early am hours (this was Saturday night) even though it was a wet November weekend. Good communication and easy check-in/check-out process. Overall, a very pleasant stay!”
The SMERALDO is a comfortable apartment, on one level can accommodate five people, who will enjoy all the nice amenities that it offers: a large terrace, views of the valley, the garden with tables lounges ,pool, sauna. The outdoor pool is open on 15/5 and 15/10 closed unless adverse weather conditions that may change, some days, dates, while the sauna is in operation all year round.
“We stayed one week in mid October as we were going to a wedding nearby. Paolo’s place is well equipped - including an iron ( much needed!) You have you’re own private terrace to sit out and enjoy the fantastic views. Paolo was so welcoming and met us nearby to escort us up the hill and show us where to park. It was a nice touch to find fresh coffee and a bottle of wine to welcome us. We didn’t use the pool or sauna but did relax on the loungers in the sunshine right at the top in the communal area. You need a car to explore the area don’t miss the waterfalls and if you have time the thermal pools in Saturnia are amazing .”
