A house in the fields

The house is situated alone in a sea of fields, surrounded by the wind in a fantastic perennial garden. With the help of many artist colleagues and friends, this formerly unspectacular guesthouse from the 1990s was converted and renovated into a small oasis and a garden was created with the help of landscape designer Rainer Elstermann. In constant growth and change, an idyllic place was created - and is still being created - in which 10 people can be accommodated in the guest part.

Welcome to the holiday idyll on the edge of the forest. The property is located on our property, surrounded by the unique nature of Mecklenburg Switzerland. Nestled in the hilly landscape, you will find pure relaxation here. The building complex consists of a large sleeping and living yurt and a cottage in which the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with warm water are located. Enjoy the moments in the sauna, by the pond, by the campfire, in the hammock or in the flower garden.

The country house on the Achtwasser is a real luxury vacation home: The exclusive thatched half-timbered house in ecological clay construction with idyllic water views is located in the middle of the Usedom Nature Park. The ideal place for your time out is in a small village on one of the largest nature reserves in Germany. Three sides with unobstructed views and a large orchard let you forget the stress of everyday life. It is not uncommon to watch deer or cranes in their activities. Built in 1912, the brick house is stylishly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. The lake in the village is within walking distance and by car it is only 30 minutes to the beach in Ueckermünde.

Our forest villa, completed in 2025, is surrounded by numerous pine trees and is located directly in the coastal forest, only 200 m away from the beautiful sandy beach of the Lubmin seaside resort. This is a unique wood-clad architectural house, consisting of two combinable units. Together with the house "Gustav" and the adjacent tiny house "Franz", our modern forest villa can accommodate up to 9 guests in a unique environment directly in the pine forest.

It has three bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor. In the living room is a fireplace, for a cozy time on colder days. Perfect starting point for hikes and bike tours in the nearby area or excursions towards Usedom.

The romantic studio apartment in the country house is located in Menzlin. The quiet village is 2 km from the Peene, the "Amazon of the North." From here you can go hiking, boating, paddling or cycling in the wild nature of the Peeneurstrom Valley and the Viking settlement "Altes Lager Menzlin." The Baltic Sea island of Usedom and the beach are 30 km away. Anklam and Greifswald are the nearest cities and are worth a visit.
